The best steak sandwich we’ve had in Chicago! The meat was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked, the seasoning was spot-on, and the bread made it absolutely perfect. Everything comes together beautifully. We’re visiting from Italy and this was a fantastic discovery. It’s definitely worth making the trip just for this steak sandwich. We would absolutely come back. Highly recommended!
I love this place definitely some of the best sandwiches you will have in Chicago hands down.
Food was delicious and the coffee was the best. We had to go back the next day.

After 5 pm, the restaurant only offers take-out or outdoor seating, with orders placed at the register. Despite this, El Cubanito remains a beloved spot, serving up flavorful dishes that transport customers back to the old country. It’s a true local favorite, not fancy but always consistent and great.
