“The food was incredible, staff was very kind and accommodating, portions were generous, and prices were reasonable. The cuban sandwich was phenomenal, the quality of the bread was the best I’ve ever had. The ropa vieja was also true to the cuban classic, and the yuca fries and croquetas were spectacular as well. Having grown up in Miami and being Cuban, my expectations were high and they exceeded every mark. Will definitely be back. Thank you to Rafael and Jose for making the experience so wonderful!“

“We happen to be walking by and decided to go in. This is almost like a breakfast Cuban sandwich- Jamon -
Ham, Swiss, roasted pepper, citrus mayo. It was hot and fresh. I’m very filling that and my coffee I only was able to eat half and I brought the other half home. The customer service off the charts. If I was hungry and I’m standing in front of the place, I would go back again, but I would not make a special trip. It did what I needed to do. They have an extensive menu. I am quite sure they can handle dietary restrictions. We were walking so I didn’t pay attention to the parking situation and yes, you could bring Kids here.“

“I have tried most of the Cuban restaurants in and around Chicago and this is the best for authentic Cuban food and consistency. I find the BYOB a real plus. The only problem is the hours are short if you want to go out for dinner. Almost impossible if you are a working person to get to the restaurant before closing. Even weekends are a problem. The quality of the food makes it my favorite place to go to eat the best Cuban food.“

“I have never eaten here before. I had the Lechón and it was so good! The flavors were excellent both in the sandwich and rice and beans. We did takeout for a work lunch, and I’m definitely coming here again.“

“Hidden little gem in the heart of the loop off of Michigan ave, really kind staff. The pros: this place has a dedicated vegan menu that tells you what’s in everything. My vegan pan con bistec honestly left a lot to be desired, very little flavor or seasoning, the sandwich is also very small for $15. The $17 plates are Much more food, I’d come back and try the salsichon platillo. Very good little grab-a-bite place, either to go or to eat in.“
