“Was driving past and saw a Jamaican flag in the window so I turned around. Thank God I did the food is so good ya'll I had the lamb, spinach and mashed potatoes. I'm still outside the restaurant in my car posting this cause the food is gone already!! An amazing Shout out to the owner miss tanya and her staff a wealth of knowledge a true blessing. Also thank you to Mario from Goebbarts farms for serenading me with live music while I waited!!“

The service was beautiful, the food was immaculate and the vibe was everything. I’m already looking forward to the next time we get to experience the taste of Belize! We ordered the stew chicken, fried fish, Mac and Cheese, stew peas. We also ordered a delicious drink and they gave us a shot of margarita ( it’s so strong you only need one) Ahhh our bellies and hearts are full right now as we sit in the car too hyped to pull off. We will most definitely be back and back soon!“

“Oh this was the find! I love oxtail - and I cook it at home from time to time. When I say they cook it about 10 times better than me, my mama, my auntie and grand aunties I mean that with all the love I have for the cuisine. Absolutely the bomb. Normally I grab a few things off the menu to judge the over all quality of a restaurant. They have me hooked off the first plate.
I will be grabbing a lunch special and ginger beer every time I come to Chicago now!“

“Exactly what I needed and some real authentic food. The jugo de chinola is divine. I always order the tres golpes and it transports me instantly to the DR. They also have Presidente and Country Club. Morena is always there and will remember you. Service is warm and tummies are filled fast. Panzita llena, corazon contenta.“

“I placed a large catering order for my office. They were very friendly, accommodating, and super easy to work with. The food was exceptional. Jerk chicken was tender and juice with fantastic spiced skin and delicious sauce. We got the ital stew, so flavorful. The rice and beans and the patties were also really great. My staff was very pleased with the meal and it was a great price to feed a large group. Definitely an excellent local catering option.“

“They need to be arrested because it should be a crime for food to taste this good! Everything was scrumptious. The oxtails litteraly melt in your mouth, the chicken alfredo tasted like a Jamaican grandma made it (tip: add some jerk sauce into the Alfredo and you get a whole other kick!!) in her kitchen! The Jerk chicken had so much flavor it didnt need the sauce and the piece de resistance: The Beef Patties!! The crust was super flaky and the mincemeat well spiced. Finally: the portions are megasized. I shared with 4 people and still had so much left! Even though the restaurant was 30 minutes from my office, everything arrived piping hot, so their packaging is top notch! Run, dont walk to Jerk It Iz. My whole office is ordering from them tomorrow!“

“PLEASE!! ! Take your money somewhere else! This place is a complete ripoff for MEDIOCRE food! How do you advertise something as a “ dinner” and then have the AUDACITY to charge people for rice and peas. That is soo absurd! It’s extremely expensive for trash food and rude service.
