Cafecito Reviews
Delicious, hot and toasty vegan Cuban sandwiches!!!
Hidden little gem in the heart of the loop off of Michigan ave, really kind staff. The pros: this place has a dedicated vegan menu that tells you what’s in everything.
My vegan pan con bistec honestly left a lot to be desired, very little flavor or seasoning, the sandwich is also very small for $15. The $17 plates are Much more food, I’d come back and try the salsichon platillo. Very good little grab-a-bite place, either to go or to eat in.

Cafecito is a cozy spot that offers the tastiest cafecito in the city, a perfect choice for those looking for a good cup of Cuban coffee. The cafe also serves delicious cafe con leche and a variety of sandwiches like the lechon pressed sandwich. Their plantains and beans and rice are also popular choices. Despite the slight noise from the crowd, the service is quick, and the food is fresh and fulfilling, making it a must-visit for anyone craving great food and coffee. Customers have praised the generous portions, fresh and well-made food, and friendly service. The cafe also offers a dedicated vegan menu, though one customer found the vegan pan con bistec lacking in flavor. Overall, Cafecito is a hidden gem in the heart of the city, offering a great dining experience.
