“Delightful little brewery with a robust beer and cocktail selection. The taproom isnt the biggest but they make great use of the outdoor space when possible. Lots of board games to play. Kid friendly. Staff are always super helpful and patient. My go-to for a good beer after work or on the weekend.“

“I Came to leave a review and Excuse me for contradicting them, but if they knew about food they would know What they are saying.The one with the nachos looks like he ate them So I'm not sure what he means! The person who says that he does not recommend the place is not even a customer of restaurant la chilanguita.
But just a driver by his review.
And the person with the Menudo dish who says that it is expensive,I think doesn't take into account that everything is Expensive now a day?“

“Wifey & I were having a couple brews down the road with friends when they’d mentioned they ate Chinese the night before so I got a craving for it! The closest Chinese restaurant was Jade Garden so I placed an order for chicken fried rice, Kung pao chicken, veggie lo mein, & 2 egg rolls. The order came with a side of white rice too. It was sooo much food; I had 2 plates worth to get my fill while my wife had 1. The next 2 days I ate leftovers for breakfast; I also passed along some food for my mom to try when I went to visit her. There was still enough remaining after all that for my wife to have a hearty lunch! Including tax it was $39ish which I felt was reasonable considering the sheer amount of food we received. Would very happily order from here again!“

“Very very good :)!growing up my mom always ordered Chinese food for us kids and I’ve been craving Chinese food but nothing was good enough and coming across this place is a blessing. Super good! We had shrimp fried rice , beef lo mein , Singapore noodles , orange chicken and ofc crab Rangoon and egg rolls 😂!! Very very good definitely putting the menu on the fridge :) will be a longtime customer :)“

“Absolute dominance from a restaurant that is less than a month old. You thought you've had it all, that Chicago couldn't possibly have yet ANOTHER banger in Wicker Park, but i'll be damned, here we are. The cracklin' shrimp is so well done, I would eat a bowl of it. Lemony, spicy, deep fried deliciousness. The half chicken was among the best I've ever had (whatever that green sauce was, was KILLING IT) not to mention my wife's elote lasagna?!?! I can't wait to go back. THE MANAGER EVEN SMELLED GREAT. Victory!“

“Lovely spot with attentive service. The lamb over the eggplant puree is sublime. Loved the zucchini fritters. Would have preferred if the fish was whole rather than a filet and if they were going to leave the skin on, to prepare it crispy and served skin side up so I'd doesn't sit in the sauce where it will get soggy. But everything was delicious and all the servers and bussera were great!“

“my best friend and I just had the BEST experience at the whale! Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. We will definitely return with friends and recommend anyone to try it out! classy, but not snobby, cool decor, warm kind and accommodating staff, and great food and cocktails are just the cherry on top! try the carrot cake after your meal :) Thank you again to taylor and the manager again <3“

“Absolutely incredible! From the moment the food hit the table, everything looked fresh and packed with flavor. The burrito was stuffed with perfectly seasoned meat, fresh pico de gallo, beans, rice, and all the right toppings—every bite was delicious. The chips were warm, crispy, and paired perfectly with the creamy queso, fresh salsa, and homemade guacamole. You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients.
And the margarita? Easily one of the best I’ve had! Perfectly chilled, refreshing, with just the right balance of citrus and tequila—not too sweet and incredibly smooth. It was the perfect complement to the meal.
Great food, amazing drinks, generous portions, and a fun atmosphere. If you’re craving authentic Mexican food and an outstanding margarita, this place is definitely worth the visit. I’ll absolutely be coming back!“

“The best steak sandwich we’ve had in Chicago! The meat was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked, the seasoning was spot-on, and the bread made it absolutely perfect. Everything comes together beautifully. We’re visiting from Italy and this was a fantastic discovery. It’s definitely worth making the trip just for this steak sandwich. We would absolutely come back. “Grabbed dinner at Four Moon Tavern and it hit just right. Went with the pimento burger and a side of those beer battered onion rings. Burger was juicy with that cheesy kick, rings came out crispy and not greasy at all. Place has that classic pub feel, jukebox going, couple folks playing pool in the back, patio was open so we sat outside for a bit. Bartender was chill and kept the beers coming without any wait. Solid neighborhood spot when you just want good bar food and a laid back vibe.“

“The food was excellent. We were a party of 6 and everyone had something different. Portion sizes were large. Food was piping hot when served. Wait staff was friendly. “Excellent food! Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. It can be pricey to some, but worth it and they do different deals on different nights so it’s worth checking them out. If this venue was in the #Pilsen area, you would def need a month or two reservations. The chef is #Michelin rated – say no more. Highly recommended. Next time in Chi-town I would def make this a stop. #exceptional #FineDiningMexican“
