“Wifey & I were having a couple brews down the road with friends when they’d mentioned they ate Chinese the night before so I got a craving for it! The closest Chinese restaurant was Jade Garden so I placed an order for chicken fried rice, Kung pao chicken, veggie lo mein, & 2 egg rolls. The order came with a side of white rice too. It was sooo much food; I had 2 plates worth to get my fill while my wife had 1. The next 2 days I ate leftovers for breakfast; I also passed along some food for my mom to try when I went to visit her. There was still enough remaining after all that for my wife to have a hearty lunch! Including tax it was $39ish which I felt was reasonable considering the sheer amount of food we received. Would very happily order from here again!“

“I was feeling under the weather today so I placed a delivery order of Chicken Egg Foo Young. It arrived within 15 minutes and the driver was very friendly. I want to say this was some of the best Chicken Egg Foo Young that I have had in years! Lots of big chunks of chicken in it and the rice. My Chihuahua was fighting me for some chicken lol! What ever you’re doing keep it up!! Was pleasantly surprised that it was so good and fresh!! Five stars!!“

“I loved this place we went to for breakfast. I especially want to give a separate shout-out to the waiter Furkan. His smiling face, attentiveness, and positive energy warm you up the moment you walk in. He brought the orders quickly and completely, and he kept checking on the table without ever being intrusive. It’s clear that he truly enjoys his job.

The venue itself is both clean and very spacious. The breakfast items are fresh, the presentation is careful, and the flavors are perfectly on point. With hot tea, freshly baked bread, and a rich Turkish breakfast spread, you start the day in the best way.

He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! The bartenders cocktails (garnished w/ fresh flowers!) are pure elegance and his customer service skills are excellent! The drag show was a blast! El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. “Lonesome Rose is one of the most underrated spots in Chicago in my opinion. I’ve never had a bad experience here. This is an ideal brunch destination as I think they have the best breakfast burrito in town. Perfectly packed, holds together well, and the queso dip on the side compliments it so well.

Their biscuits and gravy and fish tacos would be my other top choices. Well worth checking out!“
