We had shrimp fried rice , beef lo mein , Singapore noodles , orange chicken and ofc crab Rangoon and egg rolls 😂!! You thought you've had it all, that Chicago couldn't possibly have yet ANOTHER banger in Wicker Park, but i'll be damned, here we are. The cracklin' shrimp is so well done, I would eat a bowl of it. Lemony, spicy, deep fried deliciousness. The half chicken was among the best I've ever had (whatever that green sauce was, was KILLING IT) not to mention my wife's elote lasagna?!?! “Turquoise was absolutely AMAZING! I've done quite a few food reviews over the years because I'm definitely a foodie, and I have to say—this was by far one of the best dining experiences I've had. The food was authentic and incredibly delicious, and the staff was phenomenal—prompt, courteous, attentive, and on top of everything. Even the bread and dip were incredible! The dip was so light and refreshing, made with yogurt, thinly sliced carrots, garlic, basil, and the most delicious blend of flavors. It was one of those things you just keep going back for. I seriously wish I had the recipe! The calamari literally melted in our mouths, and the beet salad was fresh, crisp, and so refreshing. But the lamb shank and mushroom risotto... OH. DEAR. GOD. 😂 That was like diving into a plate of heaven. The risotto was ridiculously good—creamy, rich, and perfectly prepared. And the lamb? Like butter. So tender it practically fell apart. From the bread and appetizers to the entrées and service, everything was exceptional. WOW. Turquoise, you absolutely knocked it out of the park. Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. “After hearing about Omarcito’s from Triple D, we had to try it. The owner, Omar, is hilarious and has a great personality. He greeted everyone as they walked up and held genuine conversations. My husband and I ordered a few different items, and we were not disappointed. The ingredients are fresh and you could tell the meat is marinated because it was super tender. This place is a must!!“

“This is one of my favorite vegan Mexican restaurants. Chef Patricia is so sweet. I almost always get the Carne Asada burrito but I’ve loved everything I have tried. The nachos & tacso are so good too. The peanut butter cookies are probably the best I’ve ever had. I love the chocolate mini Bundt cake.“

“Casa Yari is the best for vegan food in Chicago...hands down. The menu is creative, delicious and made with love. Yari is an amazing chef and human all around. Her staff, which includes her daughters, is very knowledgeable about the menu and can guide you on what to get if you're a first timer. Every dish is made to order so a little bit of a wait time is to be expected and well worth it. Be sure to check their website for updated rotating menus as well as some restaurant FAQs (i.e. they stop taking orders about 30 min before close) Heads up, brunch is busy so you most likely won't be able to grab your order to go but you are more than welcome to dine in at the bar if you're solo. They also have an amazing N/A cocktail list for those of you that don't drink. This is not a place to miss if you're a true Chicago foodie!“

“Great little place. Got there at 5:00, it closes at 6.... but by 5:30 it was packed with dinners at tables and picking up take out. Perhaps stay open until 7?? Seems like there's a lot of demand right after work gets out. Tried several things, but the savory menu was probably my favorite. BLT Biscuit was excellent with lots of thick cut bacon. The Sausage Biscuit was phenomenal, especially with the perfectly cooked jammy egg on top! The Chicken Pot Pie was also good, with excellent crust crammed full of nice thick filling, with plenty of meat. Then we tried the Quiche. Lovely fluffy texture in the eggs and tons of vegetables, again with a great crust. The two sweet pies we tried were the Key Lime and the Chicory Chocolate French Silk. I liked them both, wanted a little more greatness in the key lime - but for those who like the creamier smoother flavored key lines it would be perfect. The chocolate again was good but i craved a little bit more of an intense punch of flavor. Just my personal preferences. There was nothing i wouldn't eat again, and i think it was all very fairly priced. Nice bohemian atmosphere and great service. Definitely recommend.“

The burrito was stuffed with perfectly seasoned meat, fresh pico de gallo, beans, rice, and all the right toppings—every bite was delicious. The chips were warm, crispy, and paired perfectly with the creamy queso, fresh salsa, and homemade guacamole. You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients.

And the margarita? Easily one of the best I’ve had! Perfectly chilled, refreshing, with just the right balance of citrus and tequila—not too sweet and incredibly smooth. It was the perfect complement to the meal.

“I had a great time wine tasting here! We sat out on their patio, which was secluded and quiet. The perfect armosphere for a catch up with friends or a date night. The food is delicious too. My favorite was the shrimp ceviche. On Wednesdays, they do happy hour specials on tasting flights! I really enjoyed the Mediterranean white flight. Their broader wine list is also incredibly diverse, representing many regions and flavors. I’ll definitely be back!“

“First and foremost, the staff is hands down the best! Literally the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered! And I’ve tried a few things on the menu and nothing has been a let down. Usually I regret straying from “the usual” but I never do here. The crab rangoon is the best I’ve ever had, the wings surprised me with how tasty and well cooked they were, the basil chicken egg rolls were bomb (so is the basil chicken over rice), and the Khao Soi is a best seller for a reason!“
