“This is a hole in the wall that's well worth visiting! Located in a small strip mall, the place looks a little sketch, but looks are very deceiving in this case. Boasting only 2 tables with 4 chairs each, we were greeted with a flavorful full aroma of food being cooked in the kitchen behind the decorative dividing screen. The staff were extremely busy, but still very polite, friendly, and helpful. We decided to stay and occupy one of the tables while our food was being cooked. We were kindly served within 15 minutes of ordering, which we didn't expect, considering how busy they were and the fact that the place is a take-out/delivery type of establishment. (We fully expected to have to pick up our food at the counter.)
The food was delicious, to say the very least. Large portion, non-greasy, and piping hot! The smell was so enticing that I started eating and nearly forgot to take my usual photo. Absolutely Chef's kiss.

If you're looking for this kind of fare, look no further, just order. I can't recommend it enough.“

The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. The Kung Pao Chicken is one of my favorites along with their Pork Fried Rice, but I have enjoyed many of their dishes - BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Pot Stickers, Beef Chop Suey on crispy chow mein noodles - all delicious. The servings are large - plenty to share or take home for tomorrow's lunch. All the staff are friendly and efficient, and you can eat in, pickup or order delivery. “Got the lunch special with orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, and an egg roll. The orange chicken stayed crispy under the sauce, which I appreciated, and the sweet and tangy flavor wasn't too much. The fried rice had plenty of shrimp and wasn't overly greasy. It's a no-frills kind of place, but the guy at the counter was really nice and got my order out quickly. The portions were big enough that I saved half for later. It's a pretty solid lunch.“

“Let me start by saying that this place is one of a kind! I love trying out their special for the first time! It did not disappoint at all!

I ordered sesame chicken special for pick-up. I came in and waited patiently till my ordered arrived, so i looked around and I was intrigued by that fish tank with huge fish. It wasn't too crazy busy when I came in, but otherwise I enjoyed my first visit inside. The lunch special only costed me $8 with crab lagoon & fortune cookie! Best affordable deal ever!

The food was just amazing and I see why it took long for it to be made. They put lot of love and care with the big portions! Sesame chicken was flavorful and juicy, chicken fried rice and simply tasty, and crab ragoon was honestly really good despite trying it the first time.

“A literal hole in the wall, but a hidden gem. I’ve been ordering from here since 2010 and the food has always been delicious. The portions sizes are big enough for two people even if you order a small size. The lady at the window is always kind and happy to help. I definitely recommend ordering from here!“

“We were in the area from the suburbs and were looking for a Chinese food place around us. We saw that Wen Cai was once of them and decided to try it because it had such great reviews. This place did not disappoint. I have a vegetarian diet, and I ordered kung pao tofu which was not on the menu but they still made for me. I also order the veggie lo mein. My husband had the shrimp friend rice, crab Rangoon and Szechuan beef. This is some of the best kung pao tofu and veggie lo mein I’ve ever had. The food was so flavorful. My husband also said it was some of the best that he has had as well. The only disappointing thing is that this place isn’t anywhere near where we live. Will definitely be back.“

We ordered KUNG BAO DELIGHT, and it was very tasty, and the portion was very large.
We also ordered COMBINATION FRIED RICE, and it tasted great, but I asked to make spicy, and they didn't prepare it properly.
We also ordered EGG ROLLS, and they were delicious and a good size, but the CRAB RAGOONS were good, but a little over-fried.

Food is still very good I ordered the Mongolian beef is what I like here although it's a bit pricey but delicious and authentic despite the owner being Cambodian. I also ordered the fried tofu since I haven't had tofu for a while it was also delicious we have to pour this soy sauce that had a distinct taste that was giving it flavor which was good. They're wonton soup was very interesting it was delicious in a different way they added extra vegetables like Chinese cabbage or bok choy. I guess to make it more healthy. In traditional Chinese wonton they don't do that. It was a bit piping hot but good. Their ice cream tea that I had for a beverage was also delicious with the boba oor tapioca. I usually would go elsewhere because of the prices to me it's a bit overpriced eating here but it is good but this and another Chinese restaurant that I would come every now and then. Thus the four stars ambience is pretty casual but I'm just surprised how good the quality of food is but it's a bit pricey now. Since I didn't have a car and I have to take the public transportation this is the only Chinese restaurant I was craving for otherwise I'd be going elsewhere to save money and spend more on fuel.“
