The staff here is so nice and friendly would recommend for a good time. Recommend the henny ritas
The seafood boil has great flavor, especially with the medium house blend. The headless shrimp and snow crab legs are our go-to whenever we visit, and the food has consistently been enjoyable.
There are a few things I think could be improved. The music can be a bit too loud at times, and I would caution families with younger children that the music played is uncensored and includes explicit language. Cajun Boil & Bar offers a dining experience with most dinners coming with fries and the option of corn. Parking is available in a pay box, as well as on the street and near public transportation train lines. While the service is noted to be helpful, the Mac and Cheese has been described as dry and flavorless, with overcooked shrimp and lacking cheese. The shrimp Mac and Cheese, previously a highlight, is said to have possibly changed recipe. The boil is 10/10, but the space has run down, with sticky floors, ripped booth seats, and dirty napkin dispensers. The music is loud, as warned, but the atmosphere is disappointing. Service can be slow at first, but once a server arrives, it is great. For large parties, Socrates and his staff go above and beyond, providing fast and accurate service. Overall, the restaurant has received mixed reviews.
