This was our first time visiting this location in years, and we were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away without a wait! Our server, Armani, was top-notch. He was attentive without being overbearing, and his knowledge of the menu really showed when we asked questions. He was also very patient and kind as my 70+ mother-in-love placed her order.
Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back—and it won’t be years this time! 😊

Cajun Boil & Bar offers a dining experience with most dinners coming with fries and the option of corn. Parking is available in a pay box, as well as on the street and near public transportation train lines. While the service is noted to be helpful, the Mac and Cheese has been described as dry and flavorless, with overcooked shrimp and lacking cheese. The shrimp Mac and Cheese, previously a highlight, is said to have possibly changed recipe. The boil is 10/10, but the space has run down, with sticky floors, ripped booth seats, and dirty napkin dispensers. The music is loud, as warned, but the atmosphere is disappointing. Service can be slow at first, but once a server arrives, it is great. For large parties, Socrates and his staff go above and beyond, providing fast and accurate service. Overall, the restaurant has received mixed reviews.
