In my opinion, the iced Tahitian vanilla is the best flavor there by far. They found a way to elevate an original vanilla glazed donut, and they nailed it - with those delicious vanilla pearls on top of this flavor. The place is small but very pretty on the inside and I liked the donuts. It was very delicious; the coffee, on the other hand, was pretty basic. There is nothing exceptional about it. Kind of overpriced but understandable for a good donut.

Every time I visit Firecakes in Oak Park, they always have a great display of donuts, a clean shop and the service is always great. I love their seasonal donuts and I have never been disappointed with my choices. I am not a coffee person so I have not tried their coffee, but the donuts are definitely worth the visit!
