Every time I visit Firecakes in Oak Park, they always have a great display of donuts, a clean shop and the service is always great. I love their seasonal donuts and I have never been disappointed with my choices. I am not a coffee person so I have not tried their coffee, but the donuts are definitely worth the visit!

In my opinion, the iced Tahitian vanilla is the best flavor there by far. They found a way to elevate an original vanilla glazed donut, and they nailed it - with those delicious vanilla pearls on top of this flavor. They have a larger variety of donut flavors for those who prefer cake donuts over yeast. Periodically, I get a caramel latte with oat milk and that is always delicious as well. The workers there are always so helpful and friendly. They have a few seating options if you would like to enjoy your donuts there. The location is very convenient as you could get some while running some errands or for dessert after your email in downtown Oak Park. My recommendation is to go early as they close late afternoon and run out of certain flavors faster than others.

Donuts are absolutely insanely good. I don't care if it's a chain. They're the best donuts in Oak Park, full stop. Gourmet donuts for everyone.

The place is small but very pretty on the inside and I liked the donuts. It was very delicious; the coffee, on the other hand, was pretty basic. There is nothing exceptional about it. Kind of overpriced but understandable for a good donut.

I was excited to visit, but was confronted with the "no cash" sign at the register. Cash tips are accepted though. This isn't mentioned anywhere on your website or social media. This would be helpful and appreciated especially for those who are making a special trip to your store or from out of town.

Liz was exceptional in handling my order late in the day with very little stock left! She helped me find a solution quickly and I would come back based on her service alone! The tasty donut ice cream sandwich was just the icing on top!

I got three donuts (sugar cookie, honey glazed and red velvet) THEY WERE AMAZING! We went during rush hour so the wait was a bit longer and they're isn't much space to sit it's mostly grab and go with the expectation of two tables. I definitely say give them a go for a quick snack.

With every bite I felt the holiday season hugging me tightly. Don’t pass up on the pistachio cake donuts, or any other delectable donut that you see. Season’s Greetings Every1?️??️❣️

This is for the Hubbard St location downtown. Went there at 6pm on a Saturday to get 6 donuts for the kids. Half of them were stale. That should never happen for the price they're charging. Took them home to the kids so didn't try them until we got home and was too late to take back. Service was very good. The guy working there was nice, helpful and upbeat.

This morning I visited the Oak Park location and it was the most embarrassing experience I've had since patronizing in Oak Park, IL. The cashier (who wouldn't give me her name) jumped to conclusions during my checkout. I was using Apple Pay and the machine was moving slow. She looks at me and goes "Oh, its not going through..(weird smirk)". My response was "It's not connected on my end. It's not even showing up." (So, how or why would she insinuate that my card wasn't going through) She then presses something on the register screen. I then put my phone back by the reader and paid so I could leave. It's so unfortunate and more common than not that African Americans are always being stereotyped for one reason or another.
