I am a frequent patron of all of Oak Parks coffee shops and this has become the favorite. I’ve tried essentially everything they have and love that they routinely bring in new seasonal items. Really I’ve never had a bad thing, but top picks: kouign Aman, danske, chocolate morning bun (very underrated), and for coffee it’s the half and half (half cold brew half oat milk latte). Staff are also super friendly and happy to tell you what they like.
Never disappointment. Best coffee on the block. Publicans food is top shelve. The Avec pizza is out of this world.

Publican Quality Bread Oak Park is a bakery offering incredible sourdough, often still warm from the oven, and great baguettes. The pastries range from good to excellent, with an almond croissant and frangipane described as to die for, featuring perfect feuilleté. Sandwiches are really good, though selections can be hit or miss for walk-ins. The coffee is high quality. Service is fast, professional, kind, cheerful, and helpful, with a separate self-checkout option for quick visits. While noted as expensive, the food never misses. The space has seating that might not be very comfortable, but it suits those working briefly. The bakery provides healthy, delicious, and genius loaves of bread with classic mastery.
