“Rarely do I take the time to “recommend” a restaurant, but my wonderful experience this past Saturday deserved the recognition. Samuel’s is one of my fiancé’s favorite places to dine and for some reason I hadn’t been. Now that I’ve been, we will be making this a regular spot. For appetizers we ordered the truffle fries and the brussel sprouts. They were both cooked to perfection and exploding with flavor. If you liked those items at CKB when it was open, then you’ll love these. For entrees we had the steak and hot chicken sandwich. Both were phenomenal. The menu prices are extremely reasonable. In fact, I think the prices are a tad low given the high quality of the product. If you haven’t checked out this gem, you’re missing out.”

“10/10 recommend! My boyfriend is Peruvian and he was so excited to see we have an authentic Peruvian restaurant here in Indiana. Everything was delicious and their sauces were incredible! He states it was just as authentic as his family members would make it! We started with the Papa Ala Huancaina as an appetizer and for dinner we had the Lomo Saltado, Green Spaghetti con bistec, and the Pollo A La Plancha! I had to try their fried Platains and for dessert we had their Tres Leches Cake! I wish this place had more attention!”

I'm guessing that's to get parking freed up more quickly.”

We stumbled upon some food trucks and ultimately decided to stop at Krispy Krunchy Chicken's 305 Chicken on Wheels. Man, was it worth the stop!I got a chicken meal which came with a honey biscuit and a side of my choice, and not only was everything flavorful, but I got all of this, sauce, and a drink for under $13!My friends loved it too - the chicken definitely lived up to its name!! Completely worth the stop if you're looking for a quick and delicious lunch, dinner, or late night grub!!!Hot tip: For seating, there's a number of picnic tables outside of their food truck and also across the street.”

“Can go there for a qucik great crispy sub that is made right in front of you. You can add whatever you like to your sandwich, choose diffrent types of bread, or wether to have it toasted or not. If you don't like chips you can subsitute it for 2 cookies or even a bowl of delicious soup. If you are supplying for a large group of people you can get one of their great party trays. You can get whatever type of bread you'd like then put which type of meat. Then they give you a tray with all types of sides you love on your sandwich.”

I had approx 20 people five or take I told them on the phone that morning.. they finally got 2 sets of 2 tables that comfortably was set up in the main dining room as 4 to table they crammed 10 chairs to these tables.. when I asked for another set of tables to be cleaned our server wouldn’t speak to me but rolled her eyes so I went to talk to someone else.. when they approached her with me she told me that she was my server. And she still has not started cleaning tables instead she told me there were 20 chairs total at those tables.. I had to get upset and told her we were crammed and everyone unhappy and told her I wanted 2 more tables cleaned.. PLEASE!!! Finally she did with an attitude and goin so slow like it killed her.. she was prob 25yr old .. then she sat out on her phone and I had to get up and get her if we needed drinks or anything. It would been a great night if had a good server.”

Everything was pretty decent except there was an abundance of salt on my onion rings. Who puts salt on onion rings??? I had to scrape it off just to eat them. Is it just me or has fast food service gone in the toilet the last few years?”

Easy to access inside.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and they have a menu with options for kids like chicken nuggets, pizza rolls, French fries, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking and spacious, single occupant restrooms. Plenty of room for caregiver and wheelchairs or other medical aides. The sink and doors may be difficult to manage with out assistance. There is a wide sidewalk along the front of the building, I can't remember if it had a ramp or not. There are two sets of doors to enter the restaurant and they are not automatic, other than this and a small vestibule at the entrance that might be tight to navigate for some, it is a comfortably accessible location. The tables and booths have ample room for wheelchairs to fit under and seem at a good height.”

“I have eaten at the Kite and Key for breakfast a couple of times before and everything was wonderful, but this time I tried lunch, and not so wonderful. I was there early, 11:20. I had a chef salad which wasn't bad but not nearly as big as I expected. The menu said, " too many desserts to list", or something to that effect. I asked the waitress what kind of desserts they had. She said only muffins and cinnamon rolls. I chose the cinnamon roll, which looked delicious, as it was covered in nice warm icing. But the roll must have been very stale, because even after warming, I had a hard time cutting it with my knife. The waitress was not very attentive in warming up my coffee. I had to ask the first time, and she never came back to ask me again. The price was very reasonable, but I was disappointed.”

My only disappointment was the ladies’ room. Certainly not updated since the 50s, 60s, perhaps the 70s. The latch on door wasn’t easy to lock or unlocked…. No longer as vintage within as other areas. A little sad.”

This is the place to break the routine.Being of partial German decent, I highly value good homemade food from the region, and atmosphere to enhance enjoyment. Gerst Haus rocks!This is a German Bar, some 20 to 30 beverages on tap. Wide variety of local brews, German brew, and my favorite, stouts. Was actually difficult choosing my stout, they had so many.Service was great, friendly, and helpful for our visit. Plenty of seating, booths and tables, not to mention the full-length bar.We had ham balls as our appetizers, tasted OK, but no our cup of tea... We had beef stroganoff, it was delicious and hit the spot, noodles ? ? smothered in gray, chunks of tender roast beef, and bake mushrooms ? ? in perfect balance. Came with garlic toast which helped get every bit of the gravy off the bowl.The place is charming with hardwood detail, German art, flags, craftsmanship and engineering simplicity ? it felt like being there.Parking: We were able to park right in front, but I would expect that is rare. Many restaurants on this street, so parking is tight.”

“I just stopped by FD to pick up a order of vegetable soup for my elderly mother. Who recently fell and broke her wrist. The very nice lady at the register gave me the soup for free. That was so nice. I cried all the way home. THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

“I will definitely be returning here! I was not the biggest fan of the pork because a high percentage of it was fatty, however the vegetables and sauce were to die for! I plan on coming back again to try the other dishes I may enjoy more. The staff is super friendly and the portion sizes are enough to keep leftovers.I recommend trying this place out for some unique and authentic Carribbean dishes!Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian bowl option, and the veggies are the best part in my opinion! Try the slaw!Parking: Street parking on the corner is very sparse and may require some walking. There are free and paid lots nearby but not super close.”

“Been here a few times since they moved from their old location. Honestly nothing but good experiences from the new location, I don't really see the hate like some other reviews. I have only ever came after ~10PM so maybe the night crew is better. Foods always been good for me, fries 2/3 times were FRESH which is quite impressive for one of those times being after midnight. Overall a good location for me so far.”
