“Love this place! Much better than Chipotle, Qdoba, etc. Much better ingredients and taste! If you like spicy food, I suggest asking for their hottest salsa in your food. The super burrito is the same size and weight of a newborn baby. I go here all the time and I don't even live on that side of town. Would recommend!“

“Overall, it's pretty good, but there are a few issues: 1) It calls itself Evansville's first taqueria, but that's a flat lie. El Paisano's was here for years (200 block of N. Green River Rd - now 300 block with the dedicated restaurant building). 2) The "Chicago Dog" isn't even close to being a "Chicago Dog" - by miles. I have a pet peeve about restaurants naming foods that aren't actually the foods they're serving and this is one of the most egregious I've seen. It may be a good dog, but it is flatly NOT a Chicago Dog. 3) The "dressed" burger is anemic, at best. The burger itself is not bad, but the stuff on it is . . . weak. I've seen better dressed burgers at McDonalds. 4) The staff *barely* understands English. I wouldn't care if they spoke only Spanish - it's not an America uber Alles thing. But if they're going to do business with Americans they should be at least minimally fluent (or maybe have a point-and-grunt board for common things). They're friendly enough, but L-rd, they're not capable of much at all in English. It's like day one in an ESL class in there (I know - I've taught them before). The chili nachos are amazing. I've tried the "Mexican Fries" which were a hot mess of slop but edible and different. I've had a very large quesadilla there that was good. I tried their "Mexican Hot Dog" (apparently "Mexican" means "smothered in mayonnaise" - both the fries and the hot dog were and that was about the only thing they had in common). I'm working my way through the menu, slowly, and the negatives definitely outweigh positives, but the place is far from perfect. Not being able to correctly spell "chili" was a little odd. At some point you'd think they'd just run their menu through Google Translate or something to spell check it.“

“Haven't been to Qdoba in forever, came for lunch, the lady who waited on me was very nice, burrito was great, and the place was very clean and smelled wonderful when I first walked in. They don't charge extra for queso and guac. Way better than Chipotle. I will be coming here from now on for my burrito needs.“

“This is called Pozole Rojo. Pozole is a Traditional Mexican celebratory soup that mostly gets made during birthdays, holidays, ect. It was created by the ancient Aztecs in Mexico and has gotten better since. No more sacrificing to the Gods. The broth is the best part. Growing up in LA this was a special meal and you would get super excited to hear there was going to be Pozole at your friends place for thanksgiving. I decided to check out Nachos Grill on South Green River Road. (under new management). I haven’t been to that restaurant since it was still La Cabana. The outside needs cleaned and updated but the inside of the restaurant was new and very clean. Service was also great since I was the only one there. Lol. The Pozole was delicious… flavorful and how I had it back home in Los Angeles. I can image their tacos and tortas are just as good too. Super rich and delicious… great for hangovers. Pozole is a hominy stew. This particular one is pork butt or shoulder. Ancho chilly peppers are blended with garlic and lime and a whole bunch of spices and things. Base is chicken broth most of the time. Not spicy but you can always add more heat. Literally one of the greatest soups you’ll ever taste. I always squeeze a few lemons into my bowl. Then you have your side garnishes to put in the soup. Chopped onions, cilantro, sliced radish, pico de gallo, limes, avocado, chopped lettuce or cabbage. Most of the time you eat this with a tostada. You dip it… put all the fun things on the tostada shell then what ever falls into the soap you eat that too. You can also use grilled tortilla’s and tortilla chips. I make my own Pozole from home for holidays but sometimes you don’t wanna cook 6+ hours. Lol. I give their Pozole a 10/10. Also I prefer my salsa chunky as it should be… added pico de gallo to my salsa. Give them a try. -The Taco Snob“

“While there are many places to get these styles of Burritos, I found the service excellent, the dining room clean, and the refills free on Soda. That alone sets Hot Head's apart from a place like Chipotle. I came in on a Sunday for the 2 for 15.99 bowls and Burritos, my then roommate and I split the bill and were told about the app. to make a long story short I found the whole experience so nice and pleasant that about a year later when I was looking for a job I thought of Hot heads and applied and got a job at that location, it's not truly something a review can explain it's an atmosphere it's a vibe I recommend checking it out for yourself!“
“I will definitely be returning here! I was not the biggest fan of the pork because a high percentage of it was fatty, however the vegetables and sauce were to die for! I plan on coming back again to try the other dishes I may enjoy more. The staff is super friendly and the portion sizes are enough to keep leftovers.I recommend trying this place out for some unique and authentic Carribbean dishes!Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian bowl option, and the veggies are the best part in my opinion! Try the slaw!Parking: Street parking on the corner is very sparse and may require some walking. There are free and paid lots nearby but not super close.“

“This has been my family's favorite Mexican restaurant for many years. We started going there in the '90s.I usually order the same burrito each visit. Today I tried nachos. They were excellent. We had leftovers(internationally). Unfortunately we left leaving the boxes behind. I noticed when I returned to the car. Going back in, the table was cleared. I'm glad they are so efficient. But, regret we left good food behind. This was my fault.Parking: We use handicap parking. There has always been a spot for us.“

“My Mom and I had given up on the Hacienda on Green River Road a long time ago. We decided to try the Hacienda in Darmstadt and it was great! The service and the food were much better than we expected. I love their salsa. It's not chunky and has a great flavor. The most interesting experience was the bathroom sinks. The hand dryer is part of the faucet and it looks like handle bars. As I washed my hands, I was curious what the bars were sticking out either side of the faucet. All of a sudden, they kicked on and started blowing air! I'm not a jumpy person, but it made me jump. So beware of the bathroom faucets/hand dryers!“

“We eat here at least once a week. My husband loves the Wet Burrito, but the Original Taco is my favorite. We always sit in the bar area since it is quieter, and we love the patio area. Great service, good food, decent prices, and portions are enough that if you walk out hungry you have nobody to blame but yourself. Love the complimentary chips to munch on while you wait. They have salsa to go with the chips or nacho cheese dip if you ask for it. I wish they had different salsas. My son-in-law likes his salsa hot enough to put blisters in his mouth, but I can’t stand even the mild like they have here. It would be nice to have different levels of heat. But I love it anyway and as I said, we go sometimes two or three times in a week. So yeah, I highly recommend it!“

“I came in yesterday after 1:30 for a party size chips and salsa and ranch. Linda was who helped me. She was exceptional! My order was for an office and she even gave me a couple extra cups for them to pour individual sauce into! She just was so nice I wanted to let someone know! Great Service @ the 1st Avenue location!“
“In my opinion this is the best Chipotle in town. The staff is always super friendly and the food is fresh and good and they give fair portions. We always go out of our way to come to this Chipotle as opposed to the Virginia Street Chipotle who has terrible service.“
