“So I contacted the store last minute to get a custom cake for my daughter’s sweet 16th birthday. The staff were very friendly, professional, courteous and responded in a timely manner. When I picked up her cake it was love at first sight and I was super excited for my daughter to see it as well! Not only was the cake gorgeous buttt it tasted EVEN BETTER!!! We had the strawberry cake with the cheesecake cream cheese filling, OMG it was sooo good! My family devoured her little cake and I was sad we didn’t get a bigger one. On pickup there was another customer that was picking up her daughter’s graduation cake that was simply beautiful, and made me want a pice of hers as well LOL. I loved the atmosphere and was hoping to understand a bit about Chai but must admit I was puzzled by the taste of the Chocolate Chai I ordered. The wonderful lady we called informed us it was pork lard and that since we couldn’t eat it due to dietary reasons she would refund us the money for the two pies with lard.Customer service was excellent and I’ll be coming back soon to get the Passionfruit Pie. “Finally made it to The Cheesecake Lady’s storefront yesterday (3/30) after rescheduling my drive for a couple weeks. To say that I was excited and satisfied is an understatement! Everything blew my expectations out of the water! I live about an hour away and nowhere near any of the wholesale locations but I may just start making the drive at least once a week to get my fix! “Every single time I come here it's pure joy! I should come more often honestly! A small gem in the neighborhood. Staff is friendly. Food comes out fast. Quality of food is superb. I have never had something here I didn't like. They have soup and pies to go. Bread and pastries. Breakfast is served until 11 am. Patio seating is always clean and ready. I would suggest it to anyone!“

We were in town for a short 5 night stay to watch our grandchildren while our son and Dil had taken a birthday trip to Austin, Texas.During their absence, we pulled together a surprise Austin Texas birthday party. Thanks to Jim & Kristy at Vanilla Bean for creating this master piece of a cake! It is exactly as I had imagined and more.The craftsmanship was on point! The customer service was over the top. It was a very pleasant experience with nice people. We highly recommend Jim & Kristy and truly truly appreciate them being there at the right time.Our Dil was soooo surprise, not so much for the party, because the grandkids gave it up as soon as they got home. But... she had no idea what the cake looked like.When she saw the cake she couldn't take her eyes off of it. Taking pictures at every turn. “Had an absolutely lovely lunch yesterday. For $20 you get a three course meal, and if you want, for a little extra, beer, wine or a cocktail. The dining room is on the top floor in the old home of Stouffers restaurant at 28th and Meridian with gorgeous views of the city on three sides. Staff was warm and accommodating and is happy to please. Seems to be every Thursday for lunch and dinner. I encourage EVERYONE to support this Culinary School at Ivy Tech!“

“My husband and I order 8 dozen macarons from Circle City Sweets for our wedding and were not disappointed in the slightest! Not only did we have a wide variety of flavors to choose from, everything from the ordering, to the pick up was smooth and painless! The macarons were absolutely fabulous and they were all gone by the end of the night. (All were great but the Blackberry Mojito was my personal favorite) Everyone gave excellent service and the pricing was more than reasonable! “Their pastries are delicious! Always made fresh daily. Huge variety of pastries and cookies!These took a hit during transportation home. But it doesn't change the flavor. The Bavarian creme pastry has smooth and creamy flavor while not being overly sweet. These donuts are huge compared to name brand donut places. The churros are filled with a raspberry jam (or what I believe is jam). Slightly tart but that what I want in a raspberry jam. The Danish has a glaze that gives the pastry a sweetness to satisfy any sweet tooth. And the cannoli has a sweet cream filling with each end being dipped chopped pecans topped with chocolate sauce. The cannoli itself is crisp. Great contrast of texture. Prices are very reasonable. They also sell cakes, which I look forward to trying someday.“

“When they first started there was one table of pastries. Only a few months later and they have two full tables and they're usually bringing out more varieties when you're there. It's always busy with a consistent line. It's best to pre-order and do a pickup, but I usually don't know that far in advance if I can make the trek down to visit. Thus, if you're popping in on Saturdays, be ready to wait along with everyone else. I usually make it there an hour after opening, and my wait time is an average 45 mins to 1 hour. The queue inside is a bit confusing, but people are nice and will point you in the right direction. They have a lot of sweet options and some savory. The savory options usually go fast because there's so few of them. I get more hungry the longer I'm waiting in line, so I always end up ordering more than I planned. Oh well, then I get to share more with friends, and I'm okay with that! I appreciate the flavor combinations, the creativity, and the friendly staff the most. Street parking can be hard to find, and it's just a bit of a walk then, not bad.“

“This is a great place to buy bread and bakery items at a discount. Make sure you look up the hours, as they are very limited. I arrived a few minutes before they opened and was shocked to see a crowd of people waiting outside the door. Once entering, it was very busy since I arrived at opening. The crowd made a mad rush to the donuts, and started filling their carts. To my surprise, apparently the donuts are the items that go first. The experience felt like Black Friday shopping for discounted bakery items. Most products are only $1. They accept cash or card at the register and the employees working were very friendly.“

My all time favorite items are the tres leches, at least it's what it reminds me of and this breaks stuffed with cream cheese and jalepeno .
