“Great experience! Unstuffy atmosphere, superb food, and really nice server, Eileen, all added up to a phenomenal experience. With a large group-everything was seamless. Appetizers were somewhat familiar but kicked up with a little (delicious) twist or sauce. The wine paired nicely with everything--a Super Sardinian blend (think Super Tuscan) bold but smooth. The Caprese salad was boosted with farrow--comfort food salad. Everyone was very happy with their main course (pasta dishes or the short-rib entree). Excited to go back so we can all try more of the menu.“

“First time dining at Salt on Mass tonight and it was a home run! My family and I had such a good time and the food and service was top notch. Our server Christopher was awesome from the start with a great personality and on point recommendations. “I went to Chronic Coffee first when I was in town for a convention. I thought the menu looked great from looking at it online. My boyfriend and I were hooked. We went back everyday before the convention trying different drinks, empanadas and smoothies. We loved everything. So of course I'm in town for another expo again and made sure I made it over there before they closed after set up since I was close by. Highly recommend. The owner is so incredibly nice.“

“Visited GoldLeaf for the first time last week and everything from the friendly service, to the local artwork + plants, and lastly quality coffee.. it was such a great way to start the day! I always love places that inspire creativity and this one did just that! There were a few parking spots in the back and street parking. I look forward to coming back again and hopefully trying the food!“

“We saw the stars for this little coffee place and we were not disappointed. We started with just a plain cup of coffee and it was so smooth and rich. Later I tried the Honey Lavender Latte and it was amazing. I didn't get the name of our barista but he was very friendly and knew how to make you feel you like a friend around his coffee table. And the environment of the coffee shop is comfortable and beautiful. This is such a great addition to Garfield Park and all of Indianapolis! “8th Day Distillery is such a hidden gem, and now one of my favorite spots to meet up with friends. Parking is easy, as you can park along the street or in the parking lot. The interior has a cool, industrial vibe. I loved their cocktail menu, as it was creative and everything I tried was delicious. The service was quick and friendly. “Stopped in at 9 PM the other night with a group of 6. One bartender working. He was accommodating, friendly, and attentive despite it being nearly closing time. One of the group wanted a non-alcoholic hot drink. He quickly offered to make her something off menu. Industrial vibe, but not cold and sterile. Well made, strong Old Fashioneds with Luxardo cherries. Will return when we have more time.“

“Go out of your way to make a visit. We didn’t expect 16-Bit to be so big. Really cool vibe. Tons of games, drinks were super creative and the slide down from the second floor was a great touch. Also, having old school video game systems was great. We will be back!“

“I just went here for my first time today. A friend of mine and I eat low fat vegan for health reasons (heart disease, IBS) and his wife and my 16 year old son are supportive! We all loved the food! We all chose the huevoes rancheros for brunch. My son is a meat eater and he loved the food just the same! He said he would never have known it was vegan if I hadn't told him! I will be back!“

“Great place for breakfast or lunch. I got the steak salad and it was amazing. I added gyro meat and extra avocado. The quality was excellent as was the service. I really liked their coffee as well. Our server and the owner Gina went out of their way to make our visit pleasant. Gina is so friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. I can't wait to return. We almost went to Cafe Patachu. I am so glad we chose this over that. There were way more options. I am doing a keto diet and I found plenty of options. My husband loved the french toast. He said the bacon and potatoes were hot and crispy. The eggs were hot and fluffy. It's really hard to find quality food with good service. This place is it! To top it all off the ambiance was very unique and special. We loved the Hawaiian theme and tasteful unique decor. Please come support this lovely locally owned business.“

“Best place to go for ice cream craving. They have a very large selection of different flavors with different toppings and an affordable price. They also have a collaboration with the cheesecake ladies so they can put cheesecake bites in any of your ice cream. They have milkshakes, splits, and I think they even have Boba, the staff are always very friendly and the service is quick. There is not a lot of indoor seating but they do have some chairs outside as well and sometimes it's nice to sit there later in the day eating your ice cream with your loved one!“

“Love this place! They are know. For their tenderloin which is amazing. There are so many more gems! Pork nachos with their own smoked pork, greuben sandwich, berry greens salad and their fish tacos are always great choices. Their soups are made from scratch and delicious. They have a wide selection of beers on tap and a box of wines to choose from for 1/2 price. Staff is friendly and very proficient.“

“Upon arrival I was treated to a flight of perfectly crafted German beers. Next up was a super soft top 10 pretzel. Both the schnitzel sandwich and the smashburger were a nice compliments to an all-around delicious dinner before going to the airport. In summary, excellent beer, garden, clean facility, good parking access, excellent beer choices, and above average menu choices. Only drawback I would say is the inside can get kind of loud.“

“I wandered in here because the restaurant had great reviews on a gluten free rating website, and I am so glad I did. Walking in immediately brought to mind the tiny greek restaurants I’ve been to - a good start. I asked for hummus with cucumbers instead of pita, and from then on, my waitress was sure to take spectacular care of me. First - the hummus was excellent. Then she brought out a sampling of different dips. I do not usually like eggplant, but this was so good! She let me know that most of the meat dishes were easily gluten free, so I ordered the pork souvlaki. The salad was excellent- just the right amount of oregano. The souvlaki really stole the show though. It’s incredible. Perfectly cooked, flavored better than any meat I’ve had before. That sounds dramatic, but it really feels more like an understatement. The beans were delicious and the tzatziki was thick and creamy. This is hands down the best greek restaurant I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat at. The service here is fabulous - both my waitress and the waiter were so lovely, kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat whenever I am in Indianapolis!Dietary restrictions: They were so accommodating for gluten free!“

“So many dazzling Chai options in this understated cafe! I tried the ginger chai, and it was piping hot and delicious. I couldn't pass up the homemade samosa, which came with 2 sauces; flavorful and filling. Cannot wait to come back and try the other chai drinks they have!“

“What can I say about Island emporium other than an absolutely amazing restaurant / bar. Everything on this menu is amazing It's very difficult to find something that's not worth your money. The beer selections range from local IPAs to foreign to your favorite domestics. The main seating area is seat yourself the hosting staff are very responsive so no worries about being forgotten even on their more busy days. The only reason for three stars for atmosphere is that if you are planning on going during a warm night or weekend you will probably find yourself forced to listen to just the worst singers in bands that you could possibly imagine. There are multiple sections to this restaurant there's a more relaxed setting is more of a sports bar in the center and they've recently opened a new addition as well. The parking lot always looks busy but I have never had trouble finding a seat. The atmosphere is what you make it My only wish is that the horrible musicians are sent to the very back of the restaurant so those of us who would like to enjoy their amazing food and beverages can eat and drink in peace. This place is a 100% recommended location.“

“Made a trip here for the first this weekend. Loved the atmosphere!! The cocktails were delicious with a few low sugar options as well. Food menu is available and brought from an adjoining building maybe? They do it somehow so the place can be pet friendly. There is a resident cat, and we were able to bring our dogs. Food was good!“

I love the variety of options & flavors that are available and how the ladies here always work with their patrons to ensure each beverage is of the highest quality. The ambiance is light and calming with nice artwork all around and some cool merchandise to purchase. Although I have always gotten my orders to go I can see how one would be able to spend some quality time here working or meeting someone. My personal favorite order is the Vanilla Cardamom (I ask for mines to be made into a latte with oat milk) with a "Buttered" addition. “Everyone is as super cool. I got the Sando and it was amazing. I was so impressed with how the flavor didn’t stop and was consistent throughout. I did the medium plus heat because i like spice and I won’t have a problem moving up a stage or two. This spot is a must try. “Detroit style pizza is my favorite so whenever I find a place that has it, I have to try it. Futuro is one of my favs! It's a well made, good quality pizza. The breadsticks are also a must for me. Each time I've been in to pick up my pizza, the employees have been super friendly and interactive. The last time I went, I ordered online and my card was accidentally charged twice. Without my even calling, it was fixed very quickly! I appreciate that. Always had nothing but positive experiences at Futuro!“

“I went recently for the first time. I didn't realize most of their drinks are from concentrate. If you like coffee/ tea and are somewhat picky about the quality, this place might not be for you. I ordered a tea expecting that freshly brewed taste and it was indeed just concentrate that they'll sell you to take home to make at home, too. While I was there, there was a line so people must like this spot! Plenty of seating to enjoy. This place could be great for students, working out of the office, etc. Its more of a productive environment. They have seats at the bar, too.Service was fine, somewhat cold but hey, its a coffee bar and they stayed busy. I must be used to that local spot feel. “As unbelievable as this may sound, not a single state has an official sandwich. And after eating the unofficial state sandwich of Indiana I think I know why. First things first though, according my extensive internet research, the official unofficial state sandwich of Indiana is the Pork Tenderloin. And if you are only going to eat one, which was the plan, then it should be eaten at the Aristocrat Pub & Restaurant. It comes on a bun (mine was oddly from Toronto) that covers a maximum of 33% of the loin, with lettuce, tomato, and three dill pickle coins and a loin eater's choice of ketchup, mayo and/or mustard (I chose mayo). For some it might be advisable to share. Washed down by a draft Ayinger Lager: Excellent!!! So good in fact I'm thinking I'll share another with Mrs. AAR if the opportunity arises. Oh, yeah, the reason why this great country lacks even one official state sandwich¹ may be the same reason this country can't provide adequate health care . . . politics. In Indiana's case House Bill 1143 has languished since 2023 possibly due to pushback from the Polish sausage and fried brain sandwich lobby. ¹ According to Wikipedia the "Taylor Ham, Egg, and Cheese," is the only official state sandwich. It was made "official" by the New Jersey governor on May 25, 2023, though this might just be due to the Taylor Swift's impending visiting to MetLife Stadium. Either way it has not been been approved by the state legislature.“

“My coffee order was an iced decaf oat milk lavender latte (I know a mouthful haha) and it was amazing! I like my coffee strong and high quality, that's how it tasted to me. With it came my croissant that was decent and flaky. I usually take my coffees to go but the environment seemed inviting enough to the point I had to stay. Some of my favorites are the yellow curry (mild) , the crispy chicken, pad Thai fried rice (mild ), the ginger soup that comes with lunch special is yummy too and the wontons. “Tons of sugar free options!! Almost always the same no matter what branch you go to. If you have a favorite, make sure you give em your phone number because they can just order your drink from your last purchase. Comes in handy if you have extras in your drink so you don't have to tell em every time.“

Not only was the food f-ing delicious (as always!) but Josh and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the evening special. “Sushi and udon were delicious and affordable as a Butler university student. While some of the combos can get a bit pricey, they have a lot of great rolls in the 10-15$ range. The service was a bit slow, but it was a Saturday night and the staff seemed spread a little thin. While busy, the staff were very polite, and the manager checked in with us before we left. I got the phoenix and dragon rolls, which were both good, and their soups were very nice. The Restaurant is very close to Butler, and it's a great spot to get a fresh bite after a busy week.“

“Awesome dive bar. My group was looking for a Thursday night trivia spot and stumbled into Sam's after all the tables at Chilly Water were full. So glad we did, we had a blast and loved the trivia vibe there. The decor makes the place feel warm and inviting, we loved trying out the lottery ticket machine and everyone (whether or not they were participating in trivia) clearly was having a great time. I was also pleasantly surprised at their non-alcoholic beer selection. This will definitely be my group's regular weekly night trivia spot!
