“I'm writing this review a day later, because that's how long it took for me to wake up from my food coma. I wish I took pictures; I will next time. Trust me, there will be a next time. We ordered a full rack, a rib tip dinner (w/ 2 sides), a large Mac & cheese and extra bbq sauce on the side. Ribs & Tips - 10/10: On par with some of the best bbq I've had in the Carolina's. Easily the best bbq I've had in Indy. Mac & Cheese - 9/10: The SEASONING... never in my life have I had a Mac with that much seasoning. Took me by surprise at first, but I'm definitely a fan. Potato Salad - 9.5/10: I'd come back for this alone. Incredible. Baked Beans - 8.5/10: I want to score this higher, and it probably should be. But everything else was so incredible. I feel like these may have been a little over-shadowed. VERY good. BBQ sauce - 8/10: To be fair, I'm not a big "sauce" person when it comes to BBQ. My family loved it. I found it a little too sweet. The flavor did pair extremely well with the meat thought, so mission accomplished. Overall Experience - 10/10: All said, the food was incredible, the prices weren't crazy, you have the option to order ahead online. It was a fast, friendly, and simple experience. I'm not kidding, after the first bite I called the restaurant and told the lady that answered I wanted to come back up there and kiss them in the mouth. I could hear the rest of the employees laughing in the background. It seems like an enjoyable workplace. I will definitely be back.“

“this place I really enjoyed it didn't realize it was a buffet style but nevertheless it was really really special I was supposed to have a party of four but they all backed out so I went alone I enjoyed the experience by myself once I got the hang of it cuz I had to do the food myself I would have preferred that they cooked it for me but it gave me the experience to add my need all the everything that I want so still the last I had a wonderful time and I really appreciate this place I wasn't too expensive cuz I'm worth every time that I spent on myself so yeah go check it out I had a wonderful time so who was excellent season very well my host was very pleasant she was trying to teach me how to use the chopstick been a while since I used one but she even gave me one that she made for like small children to use I prefer still a fork in my but nevertheless it was so good so thank you for my experience thank you for my blessing of my wonderful serving and server, I'm thankful for spending money on myself it's always a good thing when you work hard you got to play smart at work vice versa it doesn't matter so have a wonderful Saturday I'm also blessed that my food was excellent excellent excellent it was so many different choices of meat to choose for from I stuck to the beef I didn't get the chicken I was just overwhelmed with food thank you very much it took over the old cracker barrel that was on Michigan road I love the little robot Lady Deb“

“Man Big Walt’s has had me in a chokehold for months! It’s just great every time. A two man team (generally) pumping out hot fresh food! I love the pork chop sandwich and the cheeseburger. If you have a big appetite you might get the Big Walt on Texas toast, it’s 2 hand patted seasoned patties with your choice of toppings. Wait is generally 20 mins or less! Love yo go when they open, I’m in and out!“

“I’ve been here a few times and the food doesn’t disappoint. I did have a disappointing experience today with our bill however. There was an extra meal charged on our bill which I brought to our servers attention. When she returned, I found that instead of voiding and printing a corrected bill, she ran a credit charge for the overage. This meant I had to pay the higher incorrect charge and wait (from what I understand) a couple 3-4 days for the credit to return to my card. I don’t feel it appropriate that the customer pay for the billing error then have to wait for a refund. I did let them know I wasn’t happy about it. I will be watching that I do receive this credit. It also put a bad taste in my mouth about returning anytime soon.“

“I was gifted cornbeef and Brisket one Sunday whle recovering back in February. It was right on time and great. On St. Patrick Day this year, order more of both and invited my family over to try, by the time they left no more Cornbeerf or brisket on the stove to serve. That day I was a great hit, the meat was tender and good with out any BBQ sauce.“

“When I think of good BBQ, chain restaurant does not normally come to mind, but City BBQ changes that mindset. If you like smoked turkey, City BBQ is the place. Nice thick and juicy slices of turkey on a sandwich and ask to substitute Texas toast for the bun. Then apply one or more of the many BBQ sauces they provide. My favorite is their "lo-co" mustard based sauce. This visit I had the fresh cut fries and a side salad along with it, but can tell you it's hard to go wrong with any of their sides. Their corn pudding, baked beans, and more are all spot on. This is just like the BBQ I grew up eating in the south.“

“My daughter and I came in for an early dinner and wow. Great music, chill atmosphere, and the food was amazing. I recommend the Wake n Bake burger. Service could’ve been more enthusiastic but she was attentive and seemed to be one of 2 servers covering the entire floor.“

“Today I had the pleasure of stumbling upon a a hidden gem on 10th St., MJ Backyard Barbecue. we ordered barbecue wings, rib, tips would baked beans and mac & cheese. And also rib tips, fresh, seasonal green beans, fries and dessert. I give it a 10/10. YOU MUST TRY!!! This meal was full of authentic BBQ style. Each item has its own awesome flavor. It’s obvious that He cooks with passion. You can taste it in your food.“

“Tonight we had dinner for my husbands birthday. Our waitress, Brandi, was incredible. Extremely efficient, friendly, and funny. She refilled drinks without being asked. Wasn’t intrusive but always there if we needed anything. Just an extremely kind, fun person. She made our evening!!!“

“Wanted a steak but with none of the work of making it at home or the dine out experience so getting this to go was perfect! Online order was easy, pickup also convenient, and the steak was exactly what I wanted! I tried the crispy Brussels sprouts and liked them, the sauce was a little on the sweet side but it paired well.“

“Great hole in the wall type bar. Even better Food tho! Everything that Ive had here has been great and the liquor prices are good as well. We found this place when we stayed at a hotel near by before a flight. It's easy to understand why they've been open since 1947“

“Greeted cheerfully as I walked up to counter. The people working seemed genuinely into their work and having positive attitude! Easy to navigate drinks/condiment area, spacious dining. Pulled pork sandwich meat was tender and of generous portion, the ‘original’ sauce well balanced blend of sweet/tart/ spicy. The meat was a tad unnecessarily salty, but otherwise perfect. Definitely will return!“
“I love White Horse. The chef is amazing when they have food. 90% of the time I come for food and bring my friends along. I love bragging to my friends about how good their wings are and that’s because of the chef, Jordan. She is so amazing and recognizes us. I love her cooking so much!! If the kitchen is closed, I will most likely leave after a shot.“

“I finally found a great place to get tender and tasty ribs. They did not disappoint at all. The sauce was delicious too. I ordered rib tips and my husband ordered pull pork on bun. His came with a side & he selected bake beans. The owner & staff were so nice & friendly. He told me he has been at this location for four years. I woke up the following day wishing I had some more of his bbq. I can’t wait to go back. I’ll be telling others about Vics BBQ because I want his business to stay in business & successful. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Went here for lunch with my girlfriend the other day during work and I tried the burnt brisket ends with side of mac. They were delicious. Girlfriend got a pork sandwich and liked it as well. She tried a piece of my brisket and love it as well. Chicken was sold out that whole day unfortunately due to a large order but will likely be back to try more items. Not expensive here but not cheap either but you pay for good BBQ. Definitely come give this place a try if you're into good BBQ.Parking: Limited parking.“

“Visited tonight and had the ribs and the barbecue chicken quesadilla. Both were sublime. The ribs were smoky and tender, and the sauce was delicious. The chicken in the quesadilla was perfectly cooked and paired well with the Chipotle sauce. Loved it all“

“Good food, nice portion sizes. We ordered via DoorDash. Everything was nicely packed. I had the Korean bbq and it was fantastic. The price point is on the higher side, but it was worth it. If you are wanting to try Korean food this is a good spot for delicious food.“
“We held our October 2022 wedding ceremony and reception at Liter House and loved the experience! Drew and the whole event staff were helpful, kind, and easy to work with. We loved our brunch reception with delicious breakfast food and classic Sahm’s coffee cake. The event space is warm, inviting, and the right size to host lots of different types of weddings or gatherings. Also, the location is perfect - the Monon trail is a gorgeous place for pictures and features a lot of cool artwork/murals. I definitely recommend checking out Liter House for your event!“

“If this is the one in greenwood first time I've been disappointed first they forgot my order asked them about it and they said takes time I get 30min.for lunch they had already used 20 the cook was just standing there waiting on orders it was rib bone Tues I asked the cook if my order was ready he said I don't have it the girl behind the counter said I told you we were working on it that pissed me off I told the cook myself what I ordered he made it and she just stood there I won't go back there“

“The restaurant was clean and inviting BUT be prepared to wait in line. I stood in line for 30 minutes with only 3 people ahead of me.. It’s only one person taking orders and payments, preparing the orders.. also make sure you go at least an 2 hours before the restaurant closes they run out of food.. I got there 730pm and oxtail among other items was sold out.“
