My friends and I were in the Brown County area, and were craving homemade pie. Well, we found the perfect place! The pies are so delicious, and many varieties. It's a smaller place, and seems to serve so many regulars..all, who seemed delighted to be there. A real gem in the area! Will definitely return. Pie was so good, I purchased a whole pie!

Visit today 12/13/23Yet another excellent visit with delicious fare! My friend really liked his frog legs, I had the biggest chef's salad ever and fried okra, another friend loved her breaded tenderloin. All of the pies were so good, we had some there and bought more to take home!!!(A visit long ago)Now that's what I call excellent customer service, superior quality of taste, and huge portions! My country fried steak "Chuck's special" was so plentiful, that it had to be served on two plates! The only downfall was that I didn't have room to fit in a desert!!!

May I suggest while you enjoy Nashville, don't pass up dining at Brownies! Wonderful food (especially the catfish) and marvelous deserts, friendly staff and a tad nostalgic. Unfortunately, we passed it up for many years (what a MISTAKE) but that is something we shall regret forever! Done be like us.

Dry laid back and down home feel. Exactly like a family restaurant should be. The food was excellent. Don’t skip out on the mancakes. Prices are very good and food is even better. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
