“We were tourists scouting the area and heard this women-owned restaurant/pub has great appetizers and pizzas. What a beautiful restaurant storefront and friendly staff! Seating arrangements abound, with tables and chairs, booths, plumb couches, and a fireplace to cozy up with friends.There is also bar seating, which seems to be a favorite among locals. We asked who the owner is and were delighted that Barbara Haas was there and came over to our table to talk with us.One of the highlights of our visit was the unique Pesto & Veggie pizza on the menu. It's a delightful choice when you're in the mood for something lighter. I highly recommend the Hazelnut Goat Toast and the Charcuterie Boar for sharable entrees and appetizers. The Hazelnut Goat Toast, in particular, was a pleasant surprise with its roasted nuts and smoky honey, adding a burst of unique flavors.We were most impressed to see how all the staff love working here. The atmosphere is light and fun. They were all eager to serve us, and conversations with them were most pleasant. Our waitress offered menu suggestions that were ideal for our appetites.They let you make reservations in advance to attend events or book a party. Easy access for strollers and wheelchairs as there are no steps to the front entrance. The large front windows let sunlight pour in, and you can see other pleasantries on the street. It’s a pleasure to see this beautiful historic building so well maintained and bustling with happy patrons.While living in Minnesota, we plan to visit again if in the New Albany / Louisville area.”

“This place is a gem, don’t let location fool you.We have been coming here for almost 6 years since moving from California.We’re a bit particular of good food, and every time we dine in here it feels as though the Mimo family cooks just for us.We have our go-tos.Hubby likes the Tomato Basil Pasta. My go to is the Seafood linguini.I personally also think they have the best calamari ever. It’s light. Not overly breaded or greasy.The marinara here is delish, I’ve heard three people tell me they could drink it by the jug >_<Portions are sufficient for one, not family style to share and have all these leftovers, which I personally like.Having worked in a New York-style Pizzeria for approximately 4 years myself, I do opine that their pizza here (at least cheese and cheese + pep options) are 10/10.Prices are also very fair.If you like a clean portion of Italian fare locally, (we’ve tried all the other options around)… we highly recommend Mimo’s.”

“We are not from Kentucky but we came in after the Derby and the staff was very friendly and informative. They got our beverages and food out quickly because we informed them that we were exhausted. We shared the surf and turf. The lobster was cooked perfectly. The filet was cooked medium rare, as requested, but the sauce that accompanied it was too salty. The twice baked potato was a welcome addition considering I haven't had one in many years. The potato was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside with a great flavor.”

“We were wanting to try a local place for dinner after a late night at work. It was a Friday night in October and the World Series was on. $2 Bud Lights! And a $7 double cheeseburger! It was karaoke night and just about a dozen regulars hanging out. I was taken aback when we first approached the place, people were smoking in there. But I'm glad we decided to go in. There was only 1 person working and she was a great sport about it! Friendly and inviting. She took our orders and then cooked our food while also tending bar! I had only ever previously been here during Harvest Homecoming Beer Walk and then just in their outside beer garden.”

“The Earls DNA is comprised of mostly dive, with a lot of grandma mixed in. Beers-cold Pours- heavy Music- played off the bar maids phone and it could've been my playlist. My wife and I walked in to this dimly lit shotgun bar that looks like it belongs right where it is and has been for probably the last 150 years. I'm sure the buildings seen lots of change but its character is rooted deep. You feel it upon entry. Long, narrow, dark wood, brick, and glass. Nothing fancy. A few windows but late in the evening, its dark. Found a quiet spot, shared a few drinks, and continued on. Not everyone likes everywhere and I get that. But this place slowed time down for me. It was a soft and satisfying landing after a long roadie. Very grateful to have dropped in. Thanks”

“Oftentimes when I’m in Louisville I stay at Caesars Southern Indiana. The casino’s food options are pathetic, so I ventured out to find Floyd County Brewing Company (you probably pass it on Main St. if you’re going to the casino).I’ve been a few times and the service is always top notch, the selection of locally crafted beers is great (I’ve not had one I don’t like), and the food is of great quality (I usually get a burger).Most recently I got the “Sirloin & The Shrimps” and substituted the grilled veggies for the mashed potatoes. All was seasoned great and the steak was cooked to perfection (rare).I highly recommend Floyd County Brewing Company if you’re in the area or at the casino (it’s better than anything they have to offer).”

Seemed a little short staffed.Vegetarian options: There are many sushi rolls that are vegetarian and you can order a vegetarian hibachi option as well. The soup & salad that come with the meal are very good and vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: If you are very clear about your restrictions, they can accommodate most issues. However, if anyone has life threatening seafood allergies, I would not eat there.Kid-friendliness: Kids would generally love the show the hibachi grill offers but the games can be scary and it would depend on how patient they are about getting their food.Wheelchair accessibility: The hibachi tables would be a little difficult for a wheeler chair but I’m sure they would accommodate to the best they could and still allow for other people to be able to get in/out of their seats.”

“My wife and I stopped in here last Saturday. Absolutely fantastic food. The young lady who waited on us was great, won't find better. I'm more of a sports bar atmosphere person so that's not.to say I wouldn't go back I'd just prefer a little more lively place. I will be back, hard to turn away from pizza and beer ?”

“We live about 40 minutes away. So we don't make it to Leaven Bakery as often as we would like to! We were in town this weekend for surgery at Baptist. We she was released from her clear liquid diet I asked what sounded good. She asked me, if I thought Leaven would be open. (Due to it being Easter weekend.) So I left, to get her favorite cinnamon roll in town. We wanted to do something nice for the staff on her floor! So I ordered 8 additional rolls. I didn't picture nurses being able to sit still long enough to eat an entire roll. I asked if they could maybe cut them into 1/4 pieces. She went above and beyond placing the quarter pieces in small muffin papers with a splash of Easter decor! The nurses won't stop talking about how amazing they are and how much they appreciated it! Leaven is the definition of what smaller local businesses should be!Thank You!Chris Newlinps. I forgot to order sausage for her. She loves their house made sausage patties!”

“Classic Americana. An Ice Cream shoppe that sells exactly what you'd expect, and they do it very well. The soft serve is LEGENDARY locally! I haven't had any food in years, but it was all stellar at last recall. The ice creams and treats are just spectacular. Highly recommended.”

“OK, first of all I'm reticent to review this business due to past experiences. A long time ago I did a review on King Donuts in Charlestown IN. I said King's Apple Fritters were the best I'd eaten. Now everytime I stop at King, they're out of Apple Fritters! Now for Toni T's. Wow, no seriously WOW. This was my first ever stop at Toni T's. It was later in the day so there wasn't a lot to choose from. I bought a serving of Bread Pudding. Now, I hate cake like bread pudding. I love moist, pudding like, Bread Pudding. Toni's Bread Pudding is the best I've eaten in my long life. It was moist, full of spices, and melted in my mouth. I swear, if it was calorie free I'd eat it everyday! I also bought some Banana Pudding but haven't tried it yet. Looks delicious.”

The sampling process was simple and the bakery was easy to work with to pick out what we wanted for our big day. Everything was brought to life perfectly as we had planned it. “Stayed in New Albany for a weekend while on the bourbon trail and this was a great find. Very cool speakeasy vibe. We sat upstairs in what felt like an old house/ library. Loved the atmosphere. Our waitress, Rose, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She even gave us some complimentary chocolates since we were celebrating an anniversary. I got the "fools gold" and it was delicious and so reasonably priced! We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come again if we're back in the area. If you enjoy good cocktails this is a must!”

I was glad to see there’s a veggie sub that can easily be made vegan and still tasted great and satisfying. The workers were an older female and younger male and both were super attentive with making sure they made everyone’s order correctly. Even the bathroom was nice - high quality toilet paper and soap, very clean. One single minor complaint is there was no hook in the woman’s bathroom for coats/purses. Good mix of entertainment throughout the week, from bands, trivia, and karaoke. Food always hits the spot, especially the fish and shrimp! If you haven’t checked them out, you should!”

They described it as lightly spiced, refreshing and filling carrots cucumbers onions and more on a bed of rice top with a fresh fried egg. Service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean.”

“Dive bar DNA cold beers a little smokey the weak need not apply Walked in and the 4 at the bar turned and greeted me with that look you give your neighbor if they were to walk in to your living room, uninvited, and change the channel. It was cold, and perfect. We instantly bonded as i get it. This IS their living room. I don't want to offend by giving stars to a dive as I think they prefer to fly under the radar (read no stars is best) but this crew probably doesn't read a whole lot. The service there was incredible and the that works there Friday and Saturday night is professional and helpful which makes for a fun safe atmosphere. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Their menu allows for anyone from vegetarian to omnivores. As far as Bar food goes. Not bad at all.Parking: Plenty of space and free to park in their own parking lot or you can choose to park on the street for free also. Plus security does their rounds through the parking lot ever so often so there is less of a chance of getting robbed or hurt or in some precarious situations because there focus is on your safety so you can relax and have the fun you came to have.”

Sometimes I use the app and pay online so I can just slide through.Also like most restaurants Burger King gives you discounts items also free items.Morning menu items as well as lunch and dinner..I don't know around the area you live but the Burger King's around here is the lowest for there menu items..Thay are all more expensive than Burger King...There isn't really nothing I can say bad about the Burger King's around my area..I was disrespect from a manager at the New Albany location.But that has been about it..Parking: There isn't a problem with parking at any Burger King in my area...They all have handicap parking..Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome at the Burger King in my locations.Wheelchair accessibility: It's available at all locations.”

We literally ate here 3 times in a matter of two weeks because it was sooo good!The food is absolutely delicious! The rice is fresh and hot, the steak is perfectly cooked every single time, and the sauce is out of this world! ? We have yet to order anything we haven't liked, and we've tried many different things from their menu.The wait staff have always been very polite, attentive, and quick to wait on us when we dine in and when we do take out. The ambiance of the restaurant is relaxing and family-friendly, and the cleanliness is always spot on, including the restroom.This restaurant is now one of our favorites, and we can't wait to bring our out-of-town visiting family members here the next time they come to visit because it's just THAT AMAZING! ?Don't sleep on this place just because it's in a strip mall type setting. The chicken fingers I have found are hit or miss. Sometimes they seem like they were made 2 hours prior and other days fresh. Today… they were sitting around… a little harder to chew. In the pic we got extra fries…. Hate to see how many fries you get when it’s not extra… 3 maybe. In this day and age of fast food getting pricy (almost $30)… I’m a little more critical. I’m on the fence if my lunch today was worth it. Today’s visit was 3 stars, but I have history with this place and I think they had an off day …. So 4 stars final answer.”

“Very polite, accommodating, and punctual service by all the waiters. The food could’ve been slightly hotter but the pizza tastes great as always. The atmosphere in the back of the restaurant is a bit inhibited compared to the nuanced lighting compared to the rest of the restaurant.”

“I hadn't been here for a dinner service in a couple years. I had come for the lunch buffet off and on (which is usually great especially for the value) but hadn't sit down for dinner here We got cheese sticks and the mama bearno's special. Both of these were great choices! The mama bearno's can be described as a "supreme" type pizza with a lot of toppings. Each bite had many toppings with a good taste and quality. Additionally I think I have found this place to have possibly the cheapest Guinness draft in the local area. As a Guinness lover this is especially important. Service was efficient even though they were clearly a bit short handed the night I was there.”

“I personally DO usually like this place, but today was not the best experience. No one was exceptionally rude but I ordered hash browns with chili, mushrooms and onions on top and there was only chili. When I said something because they charge per topping the server said oh it's there it's on the bottom. So I looked there were still No onions and only 4 mushrooms. I took a picture and I really did look but I feel like not only did I pay for something I didn't get but it didn't seem like anyone cared. You shouldn't charge people for extras if you aren't going to give them to them.”

“First time eating at this restaurant. The 3 of us had the chicken tenders. They were tender, moist and had good flavor. I would recommend this place.Parking: Bit difficult due to the drive thru getting to the parking spaces”

“We came and didn’t know what to expect. I had the fillet and John had the 20 oz. Ribeye. And they were melt in your mouth awesome. The salad bar is well stocked and has a wide assortment. The service was great and A big thank you goes to Rick for that. We will be back.”

“You gotta get the cheese or garlic bread. Our family is hard to fit places to eat bc we have two very picky eaters but we can usually eat here one stop for us all. My parents favorite place to eat when visiting from out of town. Def give the pizza bread a try also!”

“This is by far the best service I have ever seen. Our waiter never let our drinks go empty. I love the vibe and the music is great! It literally took 3 minutes for us to receive our food and it was piping hot. We will definitely be back! This is the place to go whenever you're hangry and want great food!”
