“It’s a cute, little bakery run by some lovely, wonderful people.I’m a pretty big guy who used to be overweight. My love for sugar is still very much present lol. That said, whenever I eat anything from here, I don’t feel that “guilt” or “shame” you feel when you prick up a candy bar.Everything that I’ve tried here is the perfect amount of sweet. Not too much, not too little. It will satisfy your sweet tooth without making your doctor cry at the amount of sugar you just ingested.It’s also very filling. I can easily eat 2-3 donuts from a donut shop. Meanwhile, I’ll be 3/4 of the way thru a pastry from this bakery and I’ll struggle to eat the rest. I want to eat the rest because they’re VERY delicious but it’s more than meets the eye.Also extremely well priced. The average for a single pastry or slice of cake seems to be right below $4 I think. Might be slightly off but the point is I didn’t feel like I was spending a lot. Again, for something that will fill a grown man up without being half your daily amount of calories in a single serving like some of these other sweets, this place is near impossible to beat.I love this place“

“Amazing! I had to get prepared for the aftermath of my blood donation and my body loves an açaí bowl afterwards! I grabbed a coconut smoothie (5/5 tasty) and two smoothie bowls: the coconut bowl (I'm coconut crazy 5/5) and the pitaya bowl (5/5). The fruit was super fresh, cold and crisp. The smoothie base was pure YUM. I'd come here every day if I could! Paid parking via mobile apps: $.79 cents for 20 minutes. Tons of other eateries in the area to walk to. Just be careful. The area was a bit odd. I didn't exactly feel the safest alone. The cat calling was annoying. The following and talking to me as I left my truck was awkward. It's an area that I'd bring pepper spray to.“

“Java Nation was absolutely amazing! The band was really nice and sounded great. The food and the service was exceptional. You really can not ask for a better place to go on a Saturday night :) ( if you go the crab cake burger was 10/10) the flight was really good too!“

“I ended up at the Weathon location just by chance while waiting for an appointment in the area. The place is a counter with few tables located in the Civic Center/Library Hall. Coffee is really good, pastry was fresh and the lady at the counter was polite and kind. Highly recommended“

“Great little shop located in lobby area of a professional building. Shelves are stocked with many different options as well as healthy fruits and vegetables. Would recommend anyone doing business in the 8720 Office Building to check them out.“

“The almond croissant is unbelievably good- light and flaky and the flavor was wonderful. We sat at one of the cafe tables and I enjoyed the sun dried tomatoes and mozzarella quiche, which they thoughtfully warmed up, and it had a very tasty crust with a creamy filling. My friend had the spinach and cheese croissant which was light and savory. We took home our almond croissants to look forward to the next morning. It was a great place to enjoy good food and unwind. Being at Ooh La La made me feel like I was back in Paris again. Parking is conveniently located door.“

“Pretty little cafe with delicious coffee and one of the most extensive crepes menus I have ever seen. And I can personally attest to the fact that they are DELICIOUS! So much nice, fresh fruit, and perfectly cooked and sweet! I would say I could eat a dozen, except that one is so stuffed full of toppings that you will be full for half the day. If you are in the area, absolutely grab a breakfast or lunch here!“

“This is a really cool coffee shop. A friend and I stopped by early to grab coffee (which was great), and I ended up coming back later to do some work on my laptop. I come to MD fairly often, and I work remotely, and this is a great place to work from and grab a bite. The staff is very friendly, the drinks are good, the pastries are great, and the decor is pretty cool and kind of relaxing. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town.“

“Definitely a hidden gem. Found this café looking for a breakfast spot. The gentleman behind the counter was kind and patient as we figured out what we wanted. I had the smoked salmon sandwich which came with chips and a salad and a latte. The sandwich, salad, and coffee were delicious even if not a typical breakfast combo. Everything we ordered was made to order but the wait time was respectable and gives time to enjoy the eclectic decor. Would absolutely go back again.“
