“We stopped in last night for the first time and were so happy we chose Richard’s restaurant. The authentic German dishes were not only mouth watering but the waitress Sarah made our entire evening one to remember. She brought us fresh buttery rolls and pretzels with homemade mustard to start with and after dinner there were brandy filled dark chocolates on the bill tray. We will be returning as often as we can travel up to Brunswick from central Mass.“

“I went to Peppers Landing at 11:30 for lunch and ordered the Brunswick lobster roll. The roll was tough and dry and I asked the server when this was cooked. They could only tell me it's reheated on the grill. This was The worst lobster roll I have ever had. The restaurant manager was gracious enough to give me a whopping $5 discount for the food. This meal was 30.00 including fries and Cole slaw. I will never go back.“

“My husband and I decided to celebrate our Anniversary at Embark. Thankfully, we were able to make a reservation the same day. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The staff was very friendly and warm. The menu had great variety. We decided to start with the bread plate. The bread was delicious and the oven roasted garlic paired nicely with the fresh ricotta cheese. I ordered the strip steak with fingerling potatoes and green beans. My steak was cooked to perfection. Juicy and full of flavor it melted in my mouth. The potatoes were topped with a bacon confit that I would pay good money for and eat on anything. The green beans were delicious as well. My husband ordered the Lobster Capellini special. Full of lobster and flavor. My only disappointment was that there wasn’t enough bacon confit…it was so good I wanted more. In a town that has so much to offer for restaurants, it’s so nice to have a place that offers delicious food that makes you feel good.“

“Our fourth vacation in Maine and Joshua’s has become a favorite of ours. Everything we have had there has been delicious. We are big fans of the lobster roll and the lazy man’s lobster dinner Staff has always been very efficient and welcoming Hope to be back next year and I’m sure Joshua’s will be on our to-do list!“

“Absolutely, fantasticly delicious haddock sandwich!!! And the fries were perfection… hot and crispy with a soft potato center. Our server Catherine and the supervisor Emily were completely on point, fast, efficient and friendly. And we topped it off with chocolate frappe. All i can say is aaaaahhhhh…and it’s very easy to see why this place has been in business for so many decades! Still using rhe same recipes. Get there! Its GRRRRREAT!!“
