Nice, friendly staff, outdoor seating with views and a lovely spot to watch the boats in walking distance to ferry. We didn't eat only grabbed a drink, but will be back as the haddock looked good!

Great food and staff! Ordered a scallop appetizer that was on the list of specials. It was delicious. Also ordered the Beef Bulgogi bowl, which was also wonderful. Good place for small groups.

Great low key, cafe and waterfront bar near the Peaks Island ferryport. Great service and atmosphere. Wonderful place to spend a blustery Sunday afternoon in October.

Wonderful experience! Great menu. We got there at 4:15, sat on the deck and stayed for sundown by 5:45. The haddock and the lobster pasta both lived up to Yelper reviews. As did the carrot cake. Jake was amazing - funny and works hard to take care of everyone be it pre-ferry or those staying on island. We will be back tom

We showed up with a party of 8, was told we had to eat out back which was fine. We all ordered and our drinks arrived in plastic cups. That was a little surprising given the price of things. When our meal arrived the potato wedges were half cooked, the chicken skewers were dry and flavorless and my Nieces boyfriend had ordered the buttered lobster. The waitress said the kitchen staff had missed it on the ticket and it would be out in 5 minutes. Over 20 minutes later we were all done eating and he had to take his to go. Not to mention I had to ask the waitress to turn on the outdoor lights as we were sitting in the dark

We called ahead to make a reservation. We asked if service animals are allowed and the women on the phone confirmed and booked our reservation outdoors. Upon arrival a man drinking at the bar came over and said we weren’t allowed in the restaurant with a dog, even if it is a service animal. Another women from the back said we weren’t allowed either. I understand, but we waited around on the island waiting for the restaurant to open for dinner. I would recommend educating your staff more.

We loved the Caesar salad, the tuna tacos, the pork bulgolgi lettuce wraps and the cold beverages. We got to sit outside on the deck on a sunny 4th of July. Awesome view of Portland. Four stars for atmosphere because, while it is incredibly charming, some aspects could use a bit of a new shine. Will love to go back!

My wife and I took a ferry here one night for dinner. We sat on the patio since the weather was gorgeous. The lobster linguine was good, but the j*** chicken bites is what stole the show. This should be on the menu everyday and not just a special. With the coconut rice and jicama slaw it was amazing. Our server was really friendly.

My friend and I were eager to try this little spot. We drove for 5 hours (June 3) and arrived at the inn across the street ….extremely hungry. We arrived and were told they didn’t open until 3:30. We came back a while later and were told they were fully booked. We saw people were finishing up at the bar so thought we’d wait a few minutes. The host (young woman was beyond rude & unfriendly) extremely Kurt & unhelpful. She clearly had no interest in people and went over to a male worker to complain that we were standing near her hostess stand. He told us to leave because no one was allowed to stand near the door. Terrible customer service!

Good food but incredibly rude hostess! Bartender ignored patrons and basically catered to friends all night- the female youngish hostess thought she was above us as we had been caught in the rain- she had no idea who we were. Ruined the experience-

Honestly everything was so wonderful! The food and drinks, amazing! I did however get assaulted by one of the staff tonight. I’ve lived on peaks for quite awhile and never had something like this happen. Such a wonderful spot, but keep your eye out for Jenna. I do have to point out she was not working at the time and took it upon herself to come to my house to assault me. This restaurant is honestly amazing though!

Nice spot for a drink and snack. Very good cheesesteak. Good view, very friendly service. And you get to use the bathroom which is more than can be said for anywhere else on the island.

The waitstaff was great and the food was amazing, what more can you ask for? I had the fried scallops, it came with tater tots. The scallops were buttery and not greasy at all, and the tots were perfect. My boyfriend had. The sesame salmon with veggies and rice. The salmon was cooked medium, and had a ton of flavor. The zucchini was also super good. 10/10.

On our first trip to Portland my husband and I decided to hop the ferry to Peaks island for dinner at The Cockeyed Gull, on the glowing recommendation of our Airbnb host. We’re SO glad we did! The food was AMAZING! The views were divine and the service was unmatched. I highly recommend the salmon! 10/10! We can’t wait until our next trip to Portland to come back for another delicious meal.
