“Very customer oriented..it’s always good never disappoints“

“Edit..we have been back since my review.The rude guy at the door is gone. Everyone is friendly and the food is beyond amazing!!Make sure if you want to try this place out, you make reservations. My friend and I decided last minute to try the restaurant out because I had read about it on line. When we arrived, we were informed that there would be a wait. I asked about seating at the bar because most places it is open seating. Let me tell you the host was so condescending that it was uncomfortable. There is no waiting area and he acted alarmed that I was going to approach the bar to get a glass of wine. He then informed us it was a 2 hour wait. After driving around forever trying to find a place to park and having much anticipation of trying Sado we just left. I rarely leave a bad review anywhere but I realize this place is new and hope they work on their customer service. I am sure the food will be amazing“

“It's honestly the best frozen custard I've ever had, and I frequent quite a bit of frozen custard places. I can't put my finger on exactly why it's better than the rest, maybe it's a little bit creamier than others. I don't know what it is, but it just has something about it that makes it special. The only negative I can think of about the whole experience is how popular the place is. I'd recommend visiting during the weekday while everyone's at work, because otherwise waiting in "line" is like standing a huge crowd trying your best to figure out how to get the counter to make your order. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to the mass of people, but eventually you'll make your way to the counter. Overall highly recommend.“

“Ate at this restaurant for a celebratory meal. Absolutely amazing. Although this was several months ago. I still feel like this was one of my top 3 dinner experiences ever! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted promptly and friendly service. We went all out! The chicken was to die for! We had a special cheese that was flown in from over seas and fresh peach slices. Our server was OVER THE TOP FANTASTICAL!Oh yeah. The portions...2 people .ate off this meal for 3 days.“

“I loved the food - really great they do such an amazing job of offering vegetarian options with many of the menu items, and my vegetarian friend was very impressed with her options. The food was well prepared, portions were large, side items were also good, as was salad and dessert - yes, we ordered and ate far more than we needed! Service is friendly and quick. Ambience is noisy - if you're wanting to converse easily I would recommend an off peak hour lunch or dinner! Line to order moves quickly - they do a fantastic job of assisting with menus and answers while you're in line so the process is quick and smooth when you get to the actual order taker/cashier.“

“We had a great time dining in for Mother’s Day brunch yesterday. We had a larger group with 6 adults and 3 children. Staff was very kind, attentive, and accommodating. We tried almost all the foods on the breakfast menu and everything was fresh, came to the table hot, and delicious! We especially loved the kibbeh, falafel, and fettet hummus. If you grew up eating a big middle eastern breakfast or you’d like to try something new, you will really enjoy this weekend spread!Kid-friendliness: We had 3 babies with us, ages 3 and under. There were plenty of high chairs offered and chicken strips with fries available for any picky eaters. There were several other families there enjoying lunch together and we had no issues accommodating our children.“

“This is a GREAT neighborhood restaurant! Great ambiance in the front room! Very good wine list; we thoroughly enjoyed the Manzone Gramolere Barolo. The food was excellent, and the portions quite large on the Chicken Marsala. One of the specials was Divers Scallops on a bed of risotto, and the scallops were perfectly done. Service after the entree could have been more attentive.“

“Me and my husband have been here a few times and we absolutely love it. This weekend was our best experience yet. We came to celebrate our 4th anniversary and our waitress was just incredibly personable and sweet, also very attentive.She was definitely busy (as this restaurant always is) yet still went over the menu thoroughly, answered all our questions, and gave great recommendations on both food and drinks. “I want to start by saying I LOVE GIOIA'S.... However they did something today that is totally wrong. I had placed a four sandwich order with work colleagues. My order was a roast beef sami with AU JUS... with out the AU JUS the sandwich is dry and not very desirable. It was delivered by door dash and the AU JUS was forgotten. I asked for a refund and was told that they are not able to do this as the AU JUS is complimentary. WTF is that !!! “Amazing experience. The restaurant is a little loud, so people with noise sensitivity may opt for outdoor seating. Despite being extremely full, there was no wait and food and beverages were delivered promptly. Servers were friendly. The food was delicious. I had an adult float, a classic root beer float with rum and it was amazing. Float portions are huge, but they can be split between two people. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and most of my family got burgers, and everything was well made. Surprisingly affordable, especially given portion sizes.“

“Sucrose is the best bakery in the greater St. Louis area. Period. Their staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The locally roasted coffee (Blueprint) is fantastic. They also have plenty of options for those with dietary restrictions (GF, dairy free, etc.). In the dozens of times I have gone here, I have never had something that was not fantastic. The quiche lorraine, NY coffee cake, blueberry muffins, and macarons are some of my favorites, but that list is much, much longer. Treat yourself and go on Saturday mornings when they really go all out. Bacon, cheddar, and caramelized onion croissants, sticky buns, whole loaves of bread, amazing specials using ingredients from their garden, and so much more. During the holidays they sell whole pies and other desserts. Their apple pie is truly special and I will continue to buy it every Thanksgiving. I have been going there since they were at their old location (and also had a different name- Four Seasons Bakery), and will continue to frequent their establishment until I am no longer physically able. The hand-pulled noodles, dumplings, baos, chicken skewers, wontons, wonton soup, and fried rice are all absolutely delicious..and you get very generous portions for a fair price! We have never eaten in (we always order to go), but the little interaction I've had with the staff when I've picked up my orders has always been positive! Also, I REALLY appreciate the updated to-go bags...they're way more durable (I don't have to worry about my hefty order potentially breaking through the bottom like with the standard brown paper bags) and the insulation inside helps keep our food nice and hot until we're ready to chow down! “We had dinner at Ivy Cafe the evening before WUSTL graduation and had an excellent meal. To start we had the butter board - whoa! The butter was silky sooth, creamy, and ultra fresh. A decadent splurge. Other dishes we sampled included the cacio e pepe, soup, salad, and the DelMar tartine, and a lovely Italian barbera. The bread is outrageously good, the produce is outrageously fresh, and the food is beautifully presented. You almost don't want to spoil it by eating it. The wine list had a nice selection of Italian, California, and French wines, and there was a selection of custom cocktails, including spirit free. The menu is refreshingly vegetable focused with compatible proteins. The space evokes garden themes; we found it to be a charming, intimate space. Staff were all professional and pleasant.
