came in for dinner and had fried fish sandwich, brisket, ribs, and fried shrimp sandwich. both sandwiches were delicious and not greasy at all!the brisket and ribs were a tad dry but the flavor was great. the hush puppies were delicious as well.
Came here because we just happened to hear they have brisket, and was completely blown away at how amazing the food was. Hands down, the most surprised I’ve been at a restaurant since moving to North Carolina 3 months ago. I wasn’t expecting much, but the brisket was phenomenal, and wasn’t overtaken with fat like most brisket I’ve had at restaurants. I think the price is the best bang for your buck in town. Skipper's caught the big one with their fried seafood. They have other chicken & BBQ options, but wasn't in the mood to try those. Probably should have looked for a sampler. Oh well.--The Fried fish (Cod) and fried shrimp were spectacular. The breading was thick enough to have body without being cakey. It was all fried to a very nice crisp with good color too.
