“Good quality Mexican food cooked by a genuine Mexican chef. Wife had carnitas (lunch portion) and it was more than she could eat. She shared with me and they were delicious. I had the luncheon sized Burrito de carne asada with a cheese sauce topping. Beef was tender and abundant. Definitely going to be a regular lunch stop. A year has passed and this is still a favorite Mexican restaurant. Burritos de lengua are a simple creation featuring wonderful roast tongue and a simple cheese sauce and deliciousness. Dinner time is a bit more crowded, but the food is worth the wait.”

“Great quality food for a good price. We stopped at the big Wesser and they were crowded and charging $17 for a bbq sandwich with chips. The bbq shack is right up the road and they had bbq sandwich plates with two sides for $9!! Good music, pleasant service, and peaceful atmosphere.”

“A MUST STOP! We happened upon this amazing bakery in Bryson City traveling through in our conversion van from Maine. The coffee was amazing, and the croissant and orange zest cinnamon roll were incredible! We met the owner, Mark. So friendly and helpful and wonderful to talk to. We were so comfortable in this little bakery chatting with other happy folks and enjoying the super cool gift store. We later ate our left over treats at our camping spot on the Blue Ridge for dessert. So good!”

“My daughter and I are celiac so we had to research before our train ride in Bryson to find a place that could provide lunch. Mountain perks exceeded our expectations. They were familiar with celiac, had dedicated prep space for gluten free items and had a ton of options, including several bakery items. It was such a treat!! And since I was diagnosed I have given up most baked goods but enjoyed a cinnamon raisin bagel that you could not even tell was gluten free. We come up twice a year and this will be one place we make a priority to visit. Their gluten free wraps are amazing also!!”

“This is our first time trying this food truck. I ordered the Havana, which is basically a Cuban sandwich. My husband got the Greek. Both were very good. They give you the option of French fries or homemade chips. The chips were hard and over cooked. I would recommend getting the fries. All and all it was a good experience.”

“An employee named Gwen was working the lobby by herself while 4-5 employees were doing drive through. Gwen was kind and courteous through all the stress of doing 2 peoples job, even correcting the drive through mistakes (at least 4 of them I counted while waiting on my food)We like Bojangles at least once a week. But I will habe to say we were very please with the service and food that Gwen provided to us. Great job Gwen!!!!Parking: Parking was designed good”

“Jonathan is truly the best employee here! he’s friendly, funny, fast and great at his job. I always make sure to tip when hes there! chelsey on the other hand…. not so much. shes always rude to the other employees, and is always in a snarky mood with other people as well. if i could i would vote jonathan to be the subway president! give that man a RAISE!!!”

“Ice cream was great… although we did not have cash and the cash machine was not working. Thankfully we had a check book in our bag, otherwise I am not sure how we would have paid! “Wonderful four night stay with my parents in May 2023. Food was excellent. Rooms were comfortable. Staff was very friendly as were other guests. Absolutely recommend.”

“Called in 2 plates, from the parking lot. Got my 2 plates, they were fresh and hot. I had a 20 minute drive up the mountain and the food was still hot. The ribs were REALLY good. The barbecue.... Errhhhmm... It's okay.. It's chopped and i like pulled but again fresh and hot and good portion. I'll eat it again and again even chopped.”

“I called yesterday and asked if they served tamales. I was told they had pork tamales, three for $10.00. I walked in and ordered take out. The man asked if I wanted beef and sauce on top of the tamales. I opted to have the sauce on the side. It was very tasty. The man who waited on me was friendly.”

“We come to that quite often to camp and we love Jimmie Macs. They are always crowded. A couple of weeks ago, they skipped our name on the list and instead of seating us when a table came open they kept taking names of everyone who came in the door instead of letting them wait.”

“Had lunch there today. Our server was Toni. She did a terrific job & checked back often. My husband had the Hawaiian pizza & I had the lasagna. Food was way better here than at the Italian restaurant in town.”
