“Favorite restaurant for seafood”

“From start to finish we were impressed. As we walked in we were greeted by a lovely hostess who was most concerned with our comfort. She looked very professional and smelled really nice. She sat us in a cute little booth with a nice view. Our server Travis was amazing. He was definitely at our every beck and call (which made us feel a little like family or at the very least old friends). He joked and laughed with us but not in a fake way like most servers. He answered all our questions including the d*** questions. We both had the Surf and Turf (22.99). The portions were a little overwhelming. The steaks were perfectly crafted and seasoned. Not too dry or too spicy. The drinks were to die for. Each one better than the last. I can honestly say that if you don't give this place a try you'll be missing out. Everyone we interacted with were as polite and courteous. This place is a double threat in that the food was melt in your mouth epic and the staff was as accommodating and polite as possible. The restaurant hasn't been opened long as Angus steakhouse and seafood so at first glance we were worried about the fact that the parking lot was basically empty whilst the surrounding restaurants parking lots were a little more crowded. As soon as we walked in the doors any worries we had were eliminated by the smells of the varieties of food and the vip treatment from the staff. The hostess immediately made us feel welcome and special. I truly believe this restaurant is going to be around for the long haul. We will be repeat customers.”

“This company was at Willow Tree RV Resort during this Memorial Day weekend. The BBQ plate was awesome but the BBQ ribs were the best I have ever eaten. Very tender and flavorful. The sides were also very good. The banana pudding was flawless. All portions were generous. I hope we have future opportunities to enjoy this incredible food.”

Servers are consistently polite , efficient and respectful.Be prepared for a short wait for the reasons listed above.My only request would be for more gluten free options on the menu!This restaurant has been around for decades for obvious reasons. If you love country cooking and are in the area for one meal; do yourself a huge favor and stop by! You’ll be thanking me later! ?”

“Very nice clean and simple Calabash Seafood restaurant. Calabash is a style and way of cooking seafood that they do very well and my favorite. Waitress was fast and efficient at both lunch and dinner. I has the same waitress. Hostess was friendly and the cashier (for dinner you pay) up front was friendly. The cashier for lunch was rude and all he wanted to do is talk to his friends and very unfriendly. I guess he was unhappy with having to work. I asked him a simple question and he curtley said. I don't know. Wow. As someone who has hired thousands and managed them. I would have terminated him on the spot. He must be the owners son. This was on A Saturday afternoon. So come for excellent fried seafood and efficient waitresses. Maybe you will have a friendly cashier.Parking: Parking can be limited when it is busy. We had to park at Callahans across the street.”

“Our group of 5 was seated quickly as we were met by a friendly inviting woman. We received our drinks quickly and ordered. We all chose different items on the menu. We all were pleased with the quality and taste of the meals. It was a very pleasant experience.”

“On vacation in Myrtle Beach, someone told us to drive to Calabash and check out the area - so glad we stumbled upon this place. Absolutely delicious lunch and plenty of food. Had the special - Snapper and Shrimp combo - the breading was so light and tasty. I would definitely stop back next time we visit the area. Friendly staff as well.”

“Oh my ice cream!This place is great. A little $$ for ice cream. But it is good. There is one server who is very stingy with her scoops and doesn’t want to seem to want be there scoping your ice cream at all. The rest are very pleasant and do great.”

“I’ve been here two times in my life and the food was really good every time the service was always amazing especially the hush puppies in the mozzarella sticks and the other stuff that I have ordered in the past but I saw that this place burned down which makes me really sad. I hope this place comes back which they said they will hopefully soon because this is my grandparents favorite restaurant to come to when they go to Myrtle Beach.”
