“I had my April 2024 wedding here and the experience is almost indescribable. I had this venue booked for more than a year, and as you can imagine, I had a lot of questions. I communicated with the manager, Marnie, more than 100 times via email and I ALWAYS received a quick response with my questions answered even with my events months down the line. The food and staff at this venue are amazing. My wedding went off without a hitch and all the compliments were on the food, friendly staff, and beautiful panoramic views of the beach. The food was great! We served the pecan chicken and a pasta station. The guests raved about the chicken and waffle slider appetizer as well. As soon as the dances were over and we sat at our sweetheart table we were immediately greeted with food from Marnie and a staff member. This goes to show their level of professionalism and attentiveness. The kids' food was also served first and that impressed parents. I was told this was the first wedding that occurred and they were thrilled. I only have wonderful things to say. You will not be let down with any event you host at the Isles. Thanks Marnie!! You guys are amazing. I need to find another event to throw just so I can come back!”

“This is the best Jersey Mike's in our area. We LOVE the friendly staff and how quick they are. Food is always fresh, place is always very clean. We normally drive about an hour to get our subs from here bc the staff is so awesome!!!”

“Honestly, a wonderful hub of activity for the local community. I often see many gather and hang out in the morning. And as I wait for my food I see that they often recognize their regulars and their typical orders. They are welcoming to all, and they have great coffee, pastries and not to mention their delicious breakfast sandwiches. They also carry local brands, such as Raw Salsa. It really feels like shopping Small and supporting our community. Looking forward to a pizza night sometime.”

“Update: this review was originally written a couple years ago and since writing, many things have changed. They now do offer allergy free ice cream and no longer have the deer park water. The owner also reached out personally to me and said that she works every day to ensure they don't have the bad customer service. Based on her personal reply, I have no reason to doubt this. We went in here this evening and we have two with a milk allergy. Most places like this would have at least one flavor of dairy free ice cream. Or even a smoothie at best. No! Instead they had 2 snotty women who looked at us like we were crazy to ask of such a thing! One of the people with the milk allergy is not only allergic to milk but also is only 6 with developmental delays (is just learning to talk and can't eat any solids) so doesn't fully understand why everyone else is able to have a treat right in front of him and he doesn't get anything. When I went back in to ask about maybe a smoothie, they were snotty again with their snapping "no" back to me. The least they could've done is acted like they cared and said "no, sorry" rather than being snotty. I decided later on that I wanted something to be able to wash the mediocre-at-best-ice cream down, so went back in for a water. They charge $1.08 for some cheep deer park water. They can't even get the good Dasani or Aquafina. And on top of that, they are charging so much for the water! Reply to owner: This is most definitely the correct location. We went in July and I had written this but forgot to hit post until now”

“We ordered meals to go for the first time this week. We have people in town who have special dietary needs, in particular gluten-free and alpha gal. Chef Eric did a fabulous job making wonderful food that accommodated our dietary restrictions. Not only was the food delicious, but the prices were reasonable. We are effortlessly feeding six people amazing food all weekend.”

“We had an amazing meal and experience at Sharky’s during our first OIB stay earlier this spring! The staff was so friendly, the restaurant itself is so unique, and those Grouper bites are out of this world! We will be back every time we’re in OIB! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“It's an oceanside pizza parlor and arcade, so it doesn't have great "atmosphere", but if you take your food out the back thru the arcade, you can eat it outside about 50 yards from the ocean. Their pizzas have more toppings than any pizza parlor I've ever eaten at, especially The Breakers' Special pizza. They also sell hand scooped ice cream, and are generous with their scoops. The people that own it and run it don't smile a lot, but the service is almost always excellent, so don't let that get in the way of a good experience. Only real negative is the parking. There's only 2 spots in front of the building, so you usually have to park across the street, which is free. DON'T park in the lot next to the bldg, as that's emergency access for EMTs. Parking at the OIB Pier parking lot MAY be OK, but check the signage as before 6pm there's probably a charge to park there. I recommend WALKING to Breakers if you can, so you get great food and good exercise.Kid-friendliness: No one goes in here expecting a fine dining experience, so kids of all ages, and noise levels, will probably be fine here. They do have a high chair.”

“A very welcome addition to the island! I hated driving off island to find a good cup of coffee! (Years ago) Every year I hope Drift is still here. It is and the business is stronger than ever! *if you go around 10am-get the app and pre-order. The line is really long around 10am!”

Their chips and queso are also worth getting and is full of flavor and perfectly creamy!This place is definitely worth going to and trying everything on the menu. The Kitchen Sink Burrito with Carne Asada is also worthy of its own shutout.Parking: There is a small shared parking lot, but if you drive to the back of the building you will find additional parking and even on the busiest of days you should be able to find a spot or at least get a spot within a 5 minute or so wait until one opens up. The FOOD will make the small parking wait more than worthwhile.”

“The location is conveniently located, and pickup is fast and super easy. We hit all the local "beachy" restaurants every vacation, but for several years, this Subway has been on our list of places we eat throughout our stay at OIB. My whole family has always been VERY satisfied with the service (we order on the app for pickup), the food has been good, & orders have been correct every time.”
