Large downtown Raleigh restaurant. Great food, excellent service. We had Chile relleno and shrimp tacos. Excellent. Salsa and chips good too! I lived in Texas for over a decade--so I'm pretty opinionated about Mexican food. Good food and reasonable prices.

I tried to find a way to give this four stars but there's just no way to justify it. The food was very good, the service was very good, the prices were totally fair and the ambience was cool. What's interesting is this is a high concept restaurant with authentic home Mexican cooking. My Japanese husband doesn't love Mexican food like I do but he declared "best in my life". I wouldn't go that far but it's great and will be part of our regular rotation when we're in town.

Stop in for lunch usually around once a week. The fajita burrito and the pollos gringo are out of this world. Great option for a good meal.
The low down: Great atmosphere, terrific service, food was delicious and they will even validate parking for you, but like all things downtown, parking sucks!

Best ACP ever!! First time going last week and the food was soo good!! The waitress was very attentive and sweet and found my daughter some hard tortillas who doesn’t usually eat authentic Mexican food but she did!! Very pleased with our experience!

Awesome mexican restaurant all around. The place looks great on the outside and the inside. Food was delicious. We had the guacamole as an appetizer with the salsa that was served. We ordered the beef tacos and the chicken fajitas. The chicken fajita was absolutely delicious, it was juicy and flavorful. The steak tacos were a bit dry and bland even with the included white onion and cilantro. We also had a strawberry mojitos and it was beautifully served. It tasted sweet but overall was made well.

Stopped in early on a Friday evening while in town. Great options on margaritas and other cocktails. Service was friendly and fast, probably in hopes of fast table turns. Food was absolutely delightful. Good chips and the salsa was a smooth style with no chunks. Tacos on the platters come with 3 small street-style tacos and rice and beans. If you don't eat the rice and beans, you'll probably still be hungry though. By the time we left, the place was hopping, so definitely looks like a local fave.
