“My coworker and i were out with a client. We started with drinks and an appetizer. Which was the lemon fried shimp. Super yum!
I ordered the caprese pizza ($14) which was lite and yummy!
I also tried the Manhattan drink ($14) for the first time and loved it!
My coworker had the black and Bleu burger, which he said was okay.
Our client had the jalapeño smash burger, and he loved it.
Our server was Liz, and she was awesome and a delight to get to know. She definitely made the night fun for us. I give her 5 stars!”

“Fabulous service at the bartop. Roy's recommendations were impeccable and considerate of dietary restrictions. The food was outstanding and wine pairings complemented well. Highly recommend sourcing from the starters and sides to get the most variety, unless you wish to commit to the steak or full entree. Oysters and acorn squash were a great combo. I appreciated the ability to do a GF dessert (elevated ice cream sundae!) to top off the night. Thank you!!”

“In Raleigh for a college tour and we wanted a simple restaurant to try out for dinner and obviously we checked out the reviews for restaurants in the area. Me being a fan of Chicken and Waffles, I said say less. We arrived at the restaurant and were quickly seated, got our menus and unfortunately, we waited. On the night we visited, it seems that there was only one waitress but she did the best she could.

We placed our orders and considering the staff shortage, our food came out in decent time. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles which can be customized with breasts, wings, thighs or drumsticks. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of the chicken; my only complaint was the chicken breast was too greasy and had an oily aftertaste. The waffle was delicious, well made and perfect.

One interesting thing that happened that caught me off guard was my daughter ask if she could have some extra sauce for her chicken sandwich and the guy quickly says that’ll be an extra charge. There wasn’t that much sauce in the first place but whatever. We paid extra ? The atmosphere was quiet and the decor was decent. I could see myself coming back in the future but realistically, I’d probably try another restaurant.”

“What an incredible dinning experience. The decor is beautiful. Love the dark green velvet booths, very roomy. We had 6 at our table and had plenty of room. Drinks were very tasty, loved how each came in a different glass. We ordered an assortment of small plates, naan, and large plates. Everything was out of this world. I highly recommend. Make sure to make a reservation as they only have 15 tables and only 2 seatings per night.”

“If I could give y’all a hundred stars I would! We had about 30 people coming together for my birthday. I had been in communication with a different restaurant (Cowfish) for over a month preparing because 30 people at a restaurant is NOT a small feat! They decided to give me a hard time the night of and were not really willing to accommodate us. We decided to find another restaurant. I immediately knew that NO ONE was going to be able to accommodate 30 people on a Saturday Evening but I was wrong! BONEFISH to the rescue! Before we even got across the street the tables were pushed together and prepped with menus water and silverware! Not only that even with a party of our size everything was executed perfectly! The food was delicious, we had a great time, the managers were friendly, and our server was the GREATEST (especially to be new to serving large parties.) I even loved my little art work on my to go box! We love intentionality! Shout out to Rasheive! All in all it was a 10/10 night, with 10/10 people in a 10/10 restaurant! Definitely coming back. ❤️”

“As a person who does not eat red meat, there are plenty of options to choose from. I chose the pesto chicken flatbread, roasted Brussel sprouts, crab cakes, and chicken skewer. The only thing i didn't like was the chicken skewer was just a chicken breast with nothing else. I asked the waiter about it, and she was really no help. The waiter we had was not attentive. She kept forgetting our drinks orders.”

The whole experience from getting in the door greeting, drinks order ,food, service was awesome. I had the steak and red skin potatoes and just right zucchini and squash. “Sarge's sauce made my shrimp and grits easier and more flavorful than my usual recipe. I simply sauteed chopped onion, bell pepper and garlic, added Sarge's sauce and chicken broth, and then added the sauted shrimp. I plated it by putting it on top of my cooked grits and then topping it with a bit of chopped tomato. Yum!”

“It was super busy when our softball games were delayed due to rain. We headed to Waffle House for breakfast. We were greeted, seated, and well fed by the most pleasant server we encountered during our week in NC. I really meant to save our server’s name just to write a positive review on her behalf. The fact that I was so inspired is a testament to our experience with her. She was great! I hope her managers see this and recognize her. We were there around 9 am on 5/18/24 and we were seated at the counter.

Our food was good, like it always is and we have come to expect but our server’s exemplary customer service was the star of this visit”

“My girlfriend and I went to this Waffle House a few days ago. Our server was Lawrence. It was evident that the restaurant was busy and, orders were flying out of the kitchen. As we waited on our food we observed Lawrence repeatedly checking orders against the tickets he had written. If the order wasn’t perfect, he’d catch the error before the food got to the table. After the kitchen fixed the plate he’d bring it to the customer. Lawrence did this multiple times including with our food which was perfect. The attention to detail that Lawrence displayed along with the care for his job are extremely appreciated.”

“Lot's of green areas, Lot's of fun. Lot's of trees keep the almost half mile long walking trail shady and fresh even during hot and sunny days. The playground is nice and well taken care of. There's even two charcoal grills. In addition, there are 3 tennis courts and 1 baseball park. The only downside is the bathrooms, although they are litter free, they have graffiti on the walls and doors. In addition, the male bathroom reeks of urine and the floors are wet. Overall is a great place for fun and to stay active as long as a trip to the bathroom is not required.”

Parking: It’s a busy area but there is always parking.

Upon arrival, you can add your name to the waitlist, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is consistently busy, yet always well-maintained with clean facilities. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu and go the extra mile to ensure a welcoming experience. Whether dining with friends or adults, everyone can find something appetizing on the menu. Here is what we order on our most recent visit: Karage Wings $12 Pork Belly Buns (2) $9 Kids Miso Ramen with Chicken and Eggs Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl $12 The food was delicious overall, and I particularly enjoyed the wings and the pork belly bun. A tip to keep in mind: it's best to finish the wings while you're at the restaurant. If you have any leftovers and take them home, they don't reheat well.”

“We were walking along the road (quite far from our house by the way) and we were dying of hunger! We found this place on Google and it was very well rated (hence the importance of the reviews) and we went immediately and before fainting from hunger!!
The place is quite spacious, very clean, very well decorated, good music, even the bathroom is decorated.
We ordered some roast beef cakes..... DELICIOUS! They are a pretty good size, I ordered a very delicious hibiscus water, a little sweet, but very good. Maybe they just needed a little more dessert options because they only sell churros and I don't like churros.
The only thing that wasn't as wonderful as the food is that ALL of the staff had ZERO friendly faces.
In general terms the experience was very good!!!”

As for the location, it’s well kept with plenty of space.The drinks themselves were amazing, with a wide selection to choose from. Fairly priced as well though it can be tricky not to get carried away so be cautious.A nice touch I noticed was that the bathrooms contained mints and mouthwash for one to freshen up. All in all, it was a nice experience and I’ll def be back again.”

“This is a family owned and operated business. They are trying very hard to please people, but some people can NOT be pleased. Everyone here is very kind, and the food is very good. Service is above standard. I have read comments on how some people don't "like" this food. That is an individual opinion. Please don't leave bad comments about the entire store just because YOU don't personally like the taste. That has NOTHING to do with anything. As far as the child (I read another comment about a child misbehaving), so it's OK for customers to bring unruly children to a restaurant, but not ok for a restaurant owners' young child to have a bad day? “Thanksgiving for dinner, my daughter and son-in-law took me to The Pickled Onion at Wakefield. It was their first time as well as my first time eating here. I had a ribeye steak (medium well) with baked potato and salad, It was cooked to perfection and tender. My son-in-law got wings, my daughter got stuffed jalapeños and a salad. They also really enjoyed their food. As far as service goes, we were checked on often to see if we needed refills or needed anything. First experience here could not have been any better. Will definitely be going back.”

if youre dining for one, the chicken and waffles come out quick! ive tried the classic (my fav) chicken and waffles and the asheville hot mac and cheese waffles. the asheville hot chicken was not hot at all- didn't get any heat kick. the mac and cheese was subpar, but it's not from a kraft box.
pecan pie is pretty good too!

I ordered the caprese pizza ($14) which was lite and yummy!
I also tried the Manhattan drink ($14) for the first time and loved it!
My coworker had the black and Bleu burger, which he said was okay.
Our client had the jalapeño smash burger, and he loved it.
Our server was Liz, and she was awesome and a delight to get to know. She definitely made the night fun for us. I give her 5 stars!”

“We come here often. The food is great local quality. The servers all seem to enjoy working there and it’s the BEST breakfast imo! I love their juices, esp the green kale juice, and their Chickichanga is my favorite entree. Yum. I can’t wait to go back. Great kids menu too.
