“I celebrated my birthday at Taverna Agora, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from beginning to end! The customer service was exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. They even called several times before my reservation to confirm my guest count and seating preference, which showed how much they value preparation and customer satisfaction.

We originally requested a table on their beautiful rooftop, but after one of my guests started getting bitten by mosquitoes, we asked if we could move indoors. The staff didn’t hesitate—they quickly accommodated our request without making us feel like it was an inconvenience.

One of my favorite touches of the evening was that they kept my favorite drink coming all night without me ever having to ask twice. It made me feel truly celebrated and taken care of.

The food, atmosphere, and hospitality made my birthday one to remember. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a great meal with outstanding service, I can’t recommend Taverna Agora enough. “Great ambiance and a really nice place for drinks and appetizers. We ordered the Hummus and Patatas Bravas to start, and both were very good. For drinks, we had the Carajillo Rum Old Fashioned and Noda Radio Haze, and enjoyed both.

For the main course, we tried the Pappardelle Alla Ragu and Bucatini Con Tomate. The entrees were okay, but they didn’t stand out nearly as much as the appetizers and drinks. I was also disappointed with the vegetarian selection—there was basically only one real vegetarian entree option.

“I was running 30 mins late for my reservation, called in, no problem to postpone. The staff were amazing, so friendly and were very helpful with menu choices. The food was unbelievable! My only regret was that I couldn’t eat anymore! Just make a reservation well ahead of time to be seated at a table, otherwise sitting at the bar is the next option. We ordered the Risotto and the crab cakes! Both delicious and ended sharing a slice of cheesecake! 5 stars plus to this incredible vegan restaurant.“

“My friend and I ordered and enjoyed a lot of food: - Pimento Cheese w/ Fried Saltines - Roasted Beets w/ Pickled Kumquat, Siano Burrata & White Balsamic-Thyme Vinaigrette - Baguette w/ Cultured Salted Butter - Crispy N.C. Shrimp w/ Marinated Newly-Dug Potatoes & Pickled Ramp Remoulade - Roasted Airline Chicken Breast w/ Herb-Scented Whipped Yukons & Smoky Triple Chicken Jus - Macaroni Au Gratin (the best I’ve ever had, at least four unique cheeses. If you don’t order this Mac ‘n Cheese, that’s your fault!) From the moment we walked in, I knew we were in for something special. “What an all around amazing night at Second Empire! Our family gathered there to celebrate our son's wedding. The personal service the bride and groom received was way beyond expectations. Everyone made them feel so special! From start to finish, the evening was exceptional. The food was so yummy and there were even options for those in our group, myself included, who were vegan/vegetarian. And it wasn't just a salad. Just ask the server! Ours was well versed in what the chef could prepare for us. The presentation of the food to our party of 13 was also super cool...they brought out all of the entrees at once! Also there is an elevator to help those with mobility issues. Thanks to everyone for helping to make this special day even more special!“

Then once seated, the two of us ordered: three small plates, one large plate, and a dessert all to share. The timing was perfect. Each item came out separately, with an appropriate pause in between. We were not rushed or overwhelmed. Staff was very attentive without ever being anywhere close to overbearing.“

“Unbelievably amazing! The customer service provided by this restaurant group was literally not even imaginable. We thought we had reservations at Brodeto only to find out the reservation was accidentally booked for another date (error on my part!) and the restaurant was closed for a private event. Zach met us at the door as we walked in to advise of this and then he asked if we would like to dine at one of the sister restaurants. He got us a table at Crawford & Son and called ahead to the management team to have us escorted to the speak easy bar in the basement (Sous Terre). Then as we were having a cocktail, Zach once again shows up to personally let us know our table was ready. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some of the best and most inventive food we have tried. The tomato salad, tuna crudo, and OMG the bucatini were all amazing! The trout and steak did not disappoint at all. And the blueberry upside down amazingness with corn ice cream was out of this world. I cannot say enough about all of the staff and especially Zach for truly making what could have been a huge disappointment into an unforgettable experience. 12 out of 10!!!!“

“My GOODNESS! I have so much to say. Let’s start off with aesthetic beauty of the exterior. The brick layers paired with the modern architecture is truly a 21st century masterpiece of construction. Then when I got in, I was greeted by the wonderful waitress named Corel. Corel remembered our order (and our names!?) on the first try - me and my friends were very impressed. Then she got us our food and we ate it and we were like just wow yum dang. Now are all full and are going home. Thank you Corel.“

“I have been looking for a restaurant that serves hot food that is healthy and easy on the stomach, while also tasting good and being reasonably priced. I finally found this place and their sandwiches sounded good, so I went and got the Portabella sandwich with couscous as a side. It was exactly what I was looking for: tastes great, healthy and easy on the stomach, and for a pretty good price at that. Definitely better and more filling than any other healthy food places near me.

On top of that, the cafe itself is quite pleasant to be in. Calm music, relaxing atmosphere, art all over the wall, and everything was very clean. It’s a very authentic place to go for a pleasant experience. Plus it seems like it’s family owned and all the employees were very nice. I don’t leave reviews often but I felt this place deserved it.“

It’s even better than Asuka, but it does have a stuff on the menu but Asuka just have to pay $100 but here you basically only have to pay $50 for five rolls“
