“Beautiful atmosphere, love the food especially the desserts. Today was different. I order the usual caramelized Brussels Sprouts. This time no sweet caramelization, so I explained that to my waiter, hoping to get them touched up or ask if I wanted to change to something else. Nothing like that happened, he returned with my ticket stating I took it off. Umm, I would like to have had them fixed . Nevertheless, I ate my scallops only and left after paying, no dessert this time. No vegetable with my scallops. I can’t say I will not come back but, I will be watching my server. Poor service makes a poor experience.“

“My friend and I ordered and enjoyed a lot of food: - Pimento Cheese w/ Fried Saltines - Roasted Beets w/ Pickled Kumquat, Siano Burrata & White Balsamic-Thyme Vinaigrette - Baguette w/ Cultured Salted Butter - Crispy N.C. Shrimp w/ Marinated Newly-Dug Potatoes & Pickled Ramp Remoulade - Roasted Airline Chicken Breast w/ Herb-Scented Whipped Yukons & Smoky Triple Chicken Jus - Macaroni Au Gratin (the best I’ve ever had, at least four unique cheeses. If you don’t order this Mac ‘n Cheese, that’s your fault!) From the moment we walked in, I knew we were in for something special. The rainbow “Don’t Forget Kindness” window etchings, the upscale modern yet retro decor, the attention to detail, and then learning the history, dating back to 1945 — it’s all so impeccable! Oh, and a fantastic cocktail. The 1806 — Orange Infused Bourbon, Brulee'd Brown Sugar, Bitters! Suffice it to say that I will make it a point to be back, often 🏳️‍🌈 Highly recommend!“

Roasted oysters, agnolotti divine, NC fish perfect. Staff friendly and, well, just a special evening all together. We have only been twice, but were greeted like regulars.“

“My boyfriend and I have been here many times and have never left a review but always enjoyed our experiences for the most part. However, tonight really stood out because of our server, Tiffany. She was so kind and professional from the start and checked on us at exactly the right moments throughout our meal without making us feel like we were being rushed, especially since the Fl. State and SMU game got delayed. She made sure we had everything we needed and truly went above and beyond what we expect (and normally receive) from a place like Yard House. I hope Tiffany knows how much we appreciated her service on a holiday weekend. Also, the chicken lettuce wraps are always bangin’.“

“What an all around amazing night at Second Empire! Our family gathered there to celebrate our son's wedding. The personal service the bride and groom received was way beyond expectations. Everyone made them feel so special! From start to finish, the evening was exceptional. The food was so yummy and there were even options for those in our group, myself included, who were vegan/vegetarian. And it wasn't just a salad. Just ask the server! Ours was well versed in what the chef could prepare for us. The presentation of the food to our party of 13 was also super cool...they brought out all of the entrees at once! Also there is an elevator to help those with mobility issues. Thanks to everyone for helping to make this special day even more special!“

“Excellent service and food quality! We had cocktails and a light appetizer while waiting for a table. Then once seated, the two of us ordered: three small plates, one large plate, and a dessert all to share. The timing was perfect. Each item came out separately, with an appropriate pause in between. We were not rushed or overwhelmed. Staff was very attentive without ever being anywhere close to overbearing.“

“Unbelievably amazing! The customer service provided by this restaurant group was literally not even imaginable. We thought we had reservations at Brodeto only to find out the reservation was accidentally booked for another date (error on my part!) and the restaurant was closed for a private event. Zach met us at the door as we walked in to advise of this and then he asked if we would like to dine at one of the sister restaurants. He got us a table at Crawford & Son and called ahead to the management team to have us escorted to the speak easy bar in the basement (Sous Terre). Then as we were having a cocktail, Zach once again shows up to personally let us know our table was ready. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some of the best and most inventive food we have tried. The tomato salad, tuna crudo, and OMG the bucatini were all amazing! The trout and steak did not disappoint at all. And the blueberry upside down amazingness with corn ice cream was out of this world. I cannot say enough about all of the staff and especially Zach for truly making what could have been a huge disappointment into an unforgettable experience. 12 out of 10!!!!“

“My fiancé and I celebrated our engagement at Oak Steakhouse in May of 2026 and the entire staff made the evening magical. Oak has quickly become a frequent date night spot for us and will be for years to come. The food is always amazing and John our waiter (as well as the entire staff) has always treated us like family.“

“I am at Glenwood often and love the main dining area and the atmosphere. The food is great especially the salmon.“

“This spot blew my mind. I was hesitant yet excited about trying another “healthy” restaurant because typically the those kinds of restaurants lack in the flavor department, but THAT WAS NOT THE CASE HERE. I was gladly surprised by True Food Kitchen. First impression walking in was the restaurant was very clean, upscale yet approachable. The open kitchen was a huge plus, and the vibe was very pleasant. The waiter Trey deserves all the praise. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and timely. He honestly made the experience one of the best things about the restaurant. Obviously the star of course is the food here, it was fantastic. So good that I was considering ordering dinner to-go. We ordered the burger, pepperoni pizza, and chicken sandwich with the air fryer fries. The food was cooked to perfection and my family and I didn’t want to stop eating it because it was so good. Lastly, we ordered the famous chocolate flourless cake because we’ve heard that it’s incredible. And yes… it’s absolutely incredible. I will have dreams about this place and I’m so happy to have gone. I highly recommend it. I have a lot of food sensitivities and gut issues and I left feeling so good afterwards. Nothing better than eating, clean food that taste good.

“I won't lie, the service was rough. My appetizer came out wrong twice and then the third time it came when everyone else had finished their apps and the entrees were coming out. Took us ages to get our bill and pay. And then I got home and my bill was wrong and I went back.

My entree was delicious. I'll try again soon. But this was a Wednesday night so shouldn't have been this difficult.“

“Recently a friend introduced me to the Oak and I was impressed well beyond my expectations. The drinks and the food are all top notch. Lots of places have “good bar food” but that’s not the case here, they have custom eats not “bar food”. There’s nothing we ordered that have us scraping up the crumbs. Justin the bartender is particularly knowledgeable and friendly, he’s a sharp guy who is eager to please and quick to serve, we never had to flag him down or ask for help, he was on the spot the whole time! I’ll be back for client lunches and meet ups for sure!“

“Bad Daddy’s catering was an absolute success for our company picnic (70 guests)! The food was exceptional—the burgers had an incredible chargrill flavor, the toppings were cooked to perfection, the buns were soft and toasted, and the salad was chopped and dressed just right. The tots were seasoned well, and the chips paired with the variety of sauce options were a massive hit.

The catering trays were easy to transport, and the food stayed warm. Everything was clearly labeled, and they provided all the necessary tools and cutlery for a seamless event. The pricing was very reasonable, and the staff was helpful—they communicated clearly and went above and beyond to help us execute a great lunch.

“Postino is a nice place for a date night or gathering with friends. It's a lovely atmosphere. The lighting is well done. It can be a bit loud though. The design should have done more for sound control. Most of the food that I have eaten has been tasty. Their boards are fun to share. The shrimp were overcooked, so I don't recommend those. The wine selection is good but a bit overpriced.“

“Nothing beats a passionate chef. Tonight was my first experience, and it's only the beginning! The staff was amazing and did not make me feel rushed. 5-star plus. I've never been to a restaurant where all the mussels were open and full of flavor until Northside Bistro. It was impressive and absolutely delicious, and they also serve some of the best cocktails I've ever had!“

“The lemon drop martini delicious, calamari delicious, wedge salad delicious. For my entree, I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich not good at all. Chicken patty was fried hard more like burnt. Infact it was double stack chicken sandwich and i could tell that it was processed. The services was fantastic, waiter was great. I just know, that I will not order that sandwich again.“

“My boyfriend and I decided to try the place, and it's overall decent. The waitress was the absolute hands down best ever, she was alone working and it was pretty busy, everyone expected rain.

The food was hit and miss, and she even took off one of the items I didn't like, as well as gave a coupon for next time! The pizza crust is like a garlic bread, but honestly goes well with their sauce. It's unique, not gonna blow your socks off, but pretty good for a grill / bar place.

The tenders were inedible, which she took those off. They tasted like they were pre fried, frozen, then fried again. Could be due to over cooking them, not sure. Boyfriends salad was off tasting, but the grilled cheese sandwich thing he got he liked. The fries I got were also really good.

The place is inside the golf club building, lot of golfers around and at the bar. The seating is self seat, which is nice, but fairly small if your expecting a restaurant.

Overall good vibes, probably will go back one day.“

“I ordered online for delivery and toast delivery assigned Uber. Some glitch occurred in the system and the food was never delivered. I received a personal call from the restaurant explaining the situation and that there was more confusion with other drivers still coming to pick it up. Eventually they made my order for a second time and sent it off with another driver that had arrived to pick it up. They didn’t have to remake the order. They called me and told me they had already done so and that a new driver would drop it off. I love this place. Every time I go in and eat, the food is always amazing. They have a great selection of beers and ciders. And the service is always fantastic. To make personal phone calls on a delivery order gone wrong that wasn’t their issue to begin with is beyond what I would expect. Making a second meal is far beyond. I want to thank the whole team for their high level of customer service and I appreciate the effort put in to this to correct someone else’s mistake.“

“We decided to pop in Good Day Good Night for an after dinner drink. There were 5 of us. We each ordered 1 drink and one person ordered dessert. Her coffee finally arrived, after she finished her dessert. The rest of us had to wait over 30min for our drink. I ordered a White Russian. It was so iced down, the ice had melted and the drink just watery whatever. Our server just acted like we were bothering him, each time we asked about the status of our drink order. My drink was the only mixed drink. The others were a shot of bourbon, and 3 decafs (the coffee was already made) Next time we want to stop somewhere for an after dinner drink, it won't be here.“

“We were there midweek for our wedding anniversary and so it was quiet. I suspect it would be busier at weekends. The view from the outside terrace was dramatic and so best place to be weather permitting. It has been v hot in Raleigh for past few weeks so was lovely to be somewhere where it caught a breeze. Food was v good ( I am GF) with lots of choices. Portions were quite generous. Cocktails were really good with a large menu. Will def go there again.“
