Parking: Parking can be a little tricky but what do you expect! It’s downtown! Just park and eat!“

“In Raleigh for a college tour and we wanted a simple restaurant to try out for dinner and obviously we checked out the reviews for restaurants in the area. Me being a fan of Chicken and Waffles, I said say less. We arrived at the restaurant and were quickly seated, got our menus and unfortunately, we waited. On the night we visited, it seems that there was only one waitress but she did the best she could.

We placed our orders and considering the staff shortage, our food came out in decent time. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles which can be customized with breasts, wings, thighs or drumsticks. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of the chicken; my only complaint was the chicken breast was too greasy and had an oily aftertaste. The waffle was delicious, well made and perfect.

One interesting thing that happened that caught me off guard was my daughter ask if she could have some extra sauce for her chicken sandwich and the guy quickly says that’ll be an extra charge. There wasn’t that much sauce in the first place but whatever. We paid extra ? The atmosphere was quiet and the decor was decent. I could see myself coming back in the future but realistically, I’d probably try another restaurant.“

“Fabulous service at the bartop. Roy's recommendations were impeccable and considerate of dietary restrictions. The food was outstanding and wine pairings complemented well. Highly recommend sourcing from the starters and sides to get the most variety, unless you wish to commit to the steak or full entree. Oysters and acorn squash were a great combo. I appreciated the ability to do a GF dessert (elevated ice cream sundae!) to top off the night. Thank you!!“

One thing that really stood out was the attentive service. it's rare to find a restaurant in Raleigh with so many waitstaff. I also appreciated their sleek black uniforms, which added a nice touch to the overall vibe. The manager was incredibly friendly and made a point to walk to each table to check in with customers, ensuring everyone was satisfied.“

“As a person who does not eat red meat, there are plenty of options to choose from. I chose the pesto chicken flatbread, roasted Brussel sprouts, crab cakes, and chicken skewer. The only thing i didn't like was the chicken skewer was just a chicken breast with nothing else. I asked the waiter about it, and she was really no help. The waiter we had was not attentive. She kept forgetting our drinks orders.“

“We ate their last night after seeing a concert at the Rialto Theater. We came on from our of town for it so we wanted to eat somewhere close to the theater. We decided on Bloomsbury after seeing the menu online and it had us salivating. It did not disappoint. Everything about this place was top shelf excellent. The cocktails, the food, the service, the atmosphere, just everything was really superb. I highly recommend this place and wish I could give it more stars!!!“

“Heat Wave Burger – 5 stars: best burger ever! Comes with pepper jack, jalapeno bacon, fresh jalapeno slices, poblano frites (lightly battered and fried strips), chipotle cayenne ketchup, and habanero mustard. I got the 7oz, perfect for me, no mustard and dang it was incredible!

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while (tuna appetizer, my wife had the Cod, and I had the flat iron steak, and their NA Cocktails were very tasty and refreshing). ?? As good as the food was, the service was even more outstanding. Friendly, informative in menu questions, and accommodating when my clumsy elbow knocked my drink off table. The replaced it at no charge. I’ve already recommended to a few friends. Highly recommended. I’m excited to try out some of their other sister restaurants.“

We were welcomed by a bubbly hostess outside and lead into the beautifully decorated indoor dining area. Maggie took care of us from there, and her service and hospitality were 5 stars across the board. She was welcoming, friendly, playful & professional, and we wish we could’ve stolen her to join us for dinner! We treated ourselves to two appetizers, salads, and burgers and loved the flavors of our selection. “I almost hesitate to write a review because I don't want to ruin the place.
Food was great came out hot and fresh. Didn't take long. You can tell it has a lot of regulars. It's like your favorite burger bar from college. Even still plays the same music.
Has a pool table.

Locally there are so many places close by where you can get over priced food and drinks with sub par service. Then stands this shining star... affordable and the staff is cool... wait and the food is good.. holy cow.

So in short if your wife or girlfriend is shopping near by and you can sneak over come get a burger and a beer. There's a dunkin/baskin Robbins 31 close by so you can stop and get her a drink otw back and just say you dipped out to surprise her.

“We’ve eaten here for years and I guess I never wrote up a review. Food and service has consistently been great. This times was no exception. It’s a great restaurant to share a meal at especially before or after walking around the museum. Sometimes it gets especially crowded so I’d suggest reservations for peak times/days. I think we tried to get a reservation for this lunch and they weren’t taking reservations- we didn’t have a problem snagging a table.“

I selected the burger which was cooked to order and had an amazing jam on it that added sweetness. Thick patty and very fresh bun. Fries were fantastic! Neighbor had fish tacos that looked amazing.“

“We got the pretzel burger and Mediterranean wrap with a couple beers. We were there for lunch and ate outside on their beautiful patio. Overall a great experience! The service was really good, everyone was so nice, and the food exceeded expectations. I would definitely recommend what we ate and appreciated that so many of the beers were local.

Parking: It’s in a shopping plaza. We went when it wasn’t busy (11am) so we were able to easily find parking right out front“

the bartender Lois was just amazing ! Very helpful and her service was exceptional .. smiling all the way and suggesting good stuff.

They just had few beers on tap . I liked the home brewed wheat beer. Light and tasted good . Wish they had few other brands on tap. IPA on tap was also average. They did have bottles and other options .. lots of tables to sit and drink. Parking is a problem here z tough to get one closer to the hotel . Overall a good experience , just because of Lois .. ?????“

“Five stars for 10th and Terrace atop the Residence Inn on Salisbury Street in downtown Raleigh! The eastern view (think sun and moon rises) and looking down on Memorial Auditorium are great! The staff was very good and the mock-tail (DD) and food were above average. We had the Short Rib Tacos and Roasted Thai Brussels (see menu). The chocolate desert special was super! Street parking and deck parking next door are easily available. See menu and photos...“

waiting area is fairly large, and expect a wait time on weekends.
ive had the same waitress both times, and she's fantastic!
if youre dining for one, the chicken and waffles come out quick! ive tried the classic (my fav) chicken and waffles and the asheville hot mac and cheese waffles. the asheville hot chicken was not hot at all- didn't get any heat kick. the mac and cheese was subpar, but it's not from a kraft box.
pecan pie is pretty good too!
I'm on a mission to try all their chicken and waffles varieties, so I will be back soon.“

“We decided to pop in Good Day Good Night for an after dinner drink. There were 5 of us. We each ordered 1 drink and one person ordered dessert. Her coffee finally arrived, after she finished her dessert. The rest of us had to wait over 30min for our drink. I ordered a White Russian. It was so iced down, the ice had melted and the drink just watery whatever. Our server just acted like we were bothering him, each time we asked about the status of our drink order. My drink was the only mixed drink. The others were a shot of bourbon, and 3 decafs (the coffee was already made) Next time we want to stop somewhere for an after dinner drink, it won't be here.“
