“Excellent food. Probably one of the best eggs Benedict we’ve had. Good ingredients and great flavor. The service was questionable. I think we just wound up with the slow waiter. The other service staff seemed to be working harder. It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to first stop by our table. We were actually tempted to leave, as the restaurant was not busy and had many open tables. But once our food was ordered it came out relatively fast. Finally, we had to wait a while again for our waiter to get the check and pay. Other than the slow waiter, it was a great experience.“

“Had a great meal at Tandem! My friend and I treated ourselves to a nice dinner here on a Sunday night. I made a reservation for 6:30pm for 2, but I don't think it was needed since the restaurant had little people when we got there. The interior inside is very industrial, with lots of wooden features (like the floor, chairs, tabletops) and string lights hanging from the ceiling. The walls were brick, and it had great big industrial windows which provided great natural lighting. The service was fine, but nothing over the top. I ordered the 72 hour short rib, and my friend got the salmon. It was delicious. It came in a Le Creuset pot with mashed potatoes and assorted veggies on the side. Stunning presentation, and might I say, those pots are expensive, and they have multiple of them. But I guess it was worth the investment because it looked really nice. The beef was super juicy and tender. High quality melt-in-your-mouth beef. And they don't shy away from the portion. It looked like a fat square block. But it was genuinely glistening in the light. The mashed potatoes were just alright for me. They had a strong flavor that I can't pinpoint - maybe too much cheese? They also put mint on the mashed potatoes and beef, which was quite a surprise, but I don't think I prefer it. The veggies were a nice touch with the beef. Overall, great experience and amazing food. I definitely would come back for another nice dinner!“

“Omg, best country breakfast ever! Very low key place with homemade everything. I had the Grits bowl with eggs, black beans, and salsa over yellow grits, otherwise known as polenta. Yum! Big slab of homemade country sausage, double yum! Hubby had the herb biscuit with eggs and country sausage. The biscuits are HUGE, soft, and flaky. Delish! We bought a bag of 4 for $6 to take home for another day. I'd love to go back and try their lunch menu-also looked good. The restaurant is humble and homey. “Had a great experience. We tried a combination of street tacos which did not disappoint. We ordered chorizo, shrimp, asada, and vegetarian tacos all of which came with cilantro, onion, and lime. The shrimp taco came with a delicious mango relish. All tacos were pretty good. The vegetarian tacos had substantial filling. They let you order taco combos so that you can try different types of tacos instead of ordering three of the same kind. The service is prompt. The ambience is relaxing. The king bed and sheets were soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely done. They have a heating rack for towels, so that was a neat touch. “I absolutely love Nantucket. It's conveniently located right off I-40 in Chapel-Hill. I honestly have never had a bad meal here. And the cake! I didn't get cake tonight, but their homemade cake selection is absolutely unreal. Service is good. Thursday nights are 1/2 price bottles of wine! Our appetizer and meals were great. “First time inside of Beyu, and it did not disappoint. I've been to the Boxyard locations plenty of times when I used to work for Boxyard, but I had never been to this location. It's so cute on the inside and the food is really good. I ordered the meat lovers omelet with the caramello. The caramello is my favorite drink at Beyu, it's my go to and it's full on caramel! My server was really nice. I even brought a book to read because it was so peaceful in there. Can't wait to go back!“
