Stayed two nights. The grounds are gorgeous and I enjoyed stopping by the Belted Goat and other businesses. The breakfast included at the Inn is lovely and the morning serving staff was very nice and professional. Food at Belted Goat is excellent. The rooms are pretty and comfortable. Baths need updating (some maintenance issues and also dated). Dinner I did not enjoy. The food was really very good and nicely presented but my experience with the staff was not. Dinner at The Fearrington House Restaurant was one of the best dining experiences we've had anywhere. It was certainly among the very best we've had in North Carolina. The food and service were simply phenomenal. Fine dining at its finest.This place was recommended to us by some friends. I probably would have no idea of its existence otherwise. I've been interested in staying/dining at Fearrington for quite some time, so I was glad to finally have done it. I had the standard King room, with a view of the gardens, so that was nice. The king bed and sheets were soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely done. They have a heating rack for towels, so that was a neat touch.
