“I tried Kingston 99 Kitchen today and it did NOT disappoint! I had the Oxtails, cabbage and peas and rice. Each item was seasoned perfectly and complemented each other. As an added bonus I was able to meet the owner! He was a super nice guy. You will have my business again!!”

I went to a meeting and the host provided lunch from the same bakery and I had the chicken salad and it was amazing!!!! “We had a great experience with Circle City Ice Cream! The young ladies were kind and helpful. Lots of flavors to choose from and you can get a little sample to try if your unsure of what you want. Reasonably priced unlike other ice cream shops. The weather was great so we sat in the swing and enjoyed our ice cream! It was incredibly delicious!! My hubby said it’s worth the drive! Can’t wait to come back and try another flavor!”

“I have been coming here since they opened as a member’s only club and I will say it’s by far one of the most consistently great places I have been here in NC. The food is always delicious, the menu is small and curated so every item is really good. One of my favorite items is the little biscuits, fancy ham & truffle cheese. I don’t like ham as a rule but I came here with someone who wanted to try it and I am so glad we did. Now I like ham, just has to be ham at the beagle! The fried chicken is delicious, the meatballs are moist, flavorful and satisfying. No plates are too big so you can order a few things to have a range of flavors. The drinks are always spot on and the service is fast and accommodating. Tonight I stopped in for a burger and it was so good I didn’t even get a pic before I dug in. Perfectly cooked on a potato bun with red onion and cheddar cheese, it’s the backyard burger you wish your dad made. Then I had the raspberry, pistachio & mascarpone cream trifle. I paused long enough to photograph it. Come into this charming spot and feel like a local, order a drink and get some apps, make a friend at the bar or go hide at a table in the back either way you won’t be sorry.”

“Went there for the first time today and a young person took my order. They were very nice and patience. I wish I would of gotten their name but I do remember they had nose piercings. Anyways I got one of those fish dessert filled with cream cheese. Very good. And a pina colada which is also extremely good too, rich with flavor. Good service good food.”

The pricing was reasonable for a small wedding, especially considering how much we got! Gay-friendly too, if that's a concern. Would 100% recommend!”

“My favorite coffee! My usual order is a decaf medium iced latte and it's always delicious. I love that there are four shots of espresso in the medium without me having to ask or pay for extra shots. Even if I have to order decaf, I want to taste and enjoy the coffee which I do every time. Coffee lovers, definitely go for a visit if you haven't!”

“Neat little self-service beer bar with a few wines, ciders, and cocktails, but the cocktails are not self-service. Check in at the desk and receive a swipe card which you use to activate the spouts and pour your beverage. Whether you want a full pint or a few ounce taster, the control is all yours. We had nachos and wings which were good and service was friendly enough without being overly intrusive. They have a number of board games to play and we really enjoyed ourselves. I don't live in the area, but will return when I return. My only complaint was the stools which were rather uncomfortable. There was other seating in the building, but it was in use so uncomfortable stools it was.”

“The manger Jerricca has done a great job turning this place around the food is always delicious and since she’s been here I always get my sauces and crust toppers she’s got a great staff and they really deserve a higher score on here past management really got the numbers down”
