“Our server, Edwin, provided excellent service and was timely and attentive. the food was delicious! Cant wait to go back.”
“We went in the middle of the week, celebrating a 50th birthday party. We were a small group. We had the delight of having Mitch as our server, he was incredibly patient with those with allergies and anxiety. Thank you for that Mitch. It was a moment that everyone at the table was grateful for. We later went back in the week to get the Brilliant Cheeseburgers to go. 100 stars.”
“Had a wonderful dining experience at Bluebird. Thoughtfully crafted dishes, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable evening. Every detail, from the food to the service, reflected a commitment to quality and consistency. A great addition to the Chapel Hill dining scene, and definitely a place worth visiting again.”

“We had such a great experience. Lizz was our server and she was amazing!!! This was our family’s first time here and we were celebrating our son for earning straight A’s on his report card. They gave him the most delicious donuts and Lizz made really excellent dish recommendations. We will return for sure!!”
“The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and it’s reasonably priced. Highly recommend!”

“Great service and food. Sat at the counter and watched the food being prepared which was a neat experience. Wine selection on point, server seemed knowledgeable and great recommendations. Lemon cake was delicious, all the food was very good but favorites were the green beans, atun and the crab.”

“Really enjoyed our evening at Little Gem. Has a speakeasy vibe with creative cocktails from sweet to savory. They have riffs on the classics as well as their own unique creations. The whipped ricotta was terrific as well.”

“Food was amazing. I had the egg rolls and they are out of this world. The crispy texture on the outside with the warm juicy jambalaya rice had my taste buds jumping. The dipping sauce definitely adds to the experience.
The staff on this food truck made me feel very welcomed. Greeted with smiles, served with love if you haven’t tried their food I would definitely recommend”
“The people who work here are super nice, and the food was really good! We got there right before they were closing, but they still let us come in and never made us feel rushed. They gave us the same great service as if we had come much earlier. One of the staff members, Sagur, was especially kind and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. We had a great experience and would definitely come back. Five stars!”
“The food was fine overall — the fig salad was very good and the affogato was delicious (with caramel sauce-delicioso). The grilled bruschetta didn't seem grilled — it was lightly toasted rather than the charred rustic bread I expected. And I thought there was too much piled on it. I didn't taste the pastas but my table mates enjoyed theirs. The service was superb— sweet and friendly and accommodating. Bravo for Massimo! He made the night enjoyable for us. Eating outside added to the ambience and felt a little more authentically Italian despite “Volare” playing in the background.”
“Visited for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back. Right off the bat, the employees were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our water glasses stayed full and our cocktails were delicious. The food was phenomenal—appetizer, entrées, and dessert. The presentation was lovely and the taste was divine. The Whipped Feta & Fig Crostinis were a surprise hit! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Red Cream Paneer Curry and I couldn’t get enough of the Tagliatelle Pasta Alfredo with Wild Mushrooms and Shiitake Bacon. The ice cream sundae was great, too! It was my first time tasting non-dairy ice cream that actually tastes good! Given the quality and care taken to provide vegan food that is THIS tasty, I think the pricing is fair, especially when compared to other local cafés/bistros/restaurants in the area. Casual, kid-friendly atmosphere, but still nice enough for a date night. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Great, creative food and excellent cocktails. Thanks for looking after the large wedding group last night. The wine was fantastic too, the whole trio of white, rosé and red. It looked like everyone had a great time, just like me!”

“My husband and I visited Momo's Master for the first time this evening and had a wonderful experience. We tried Steamed Momo's with veggie filling served with 2 of their signature dipping sauces, and Himalayan Fried Rice (vegetarian). It was great to see the option for both masala tea and coffee on the menu, especially in a downtown Chapel Hill restaurant, therefore we had to try both Himalayan Masala Tea and Himalayan Coffee, and we were glad that we did. I usually do not write reviews but when the food is that good, I do. The momos were one of the best we have had so far and the flavors of both the signature sauces blended well with that of momos. Himalayan fried rice was hot, spicy and very good. The Punjabi guy, Sukhi, and Usha (from Nepal) - both chefs, were great; Sukhi came and asked us how everything was and ensured that it was to our liking. Both Himalayan Masala Tea and Himalayan coffee tasted good, especially Himalayan Masala Tea was really good. The place has a nice, comfortable ambiance. We look forward to visiting the restaurant again and enjoying the food in near future. Highly recommend.”
“I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! If you’re sick or just having a bad day, there is genuinely no better pick-me-up in chapel hill. I’ve ordered from here 3 times so far & they’ve never disappointed. My favorite is the pork belly noodle soup, but I’ve also gotten the braised beef noodle soup as well as the beef broth with celery & scallion (excellent for a sore throat!). The braised beef noodle soup was a bit too spicy for me, but our server never stopped filling up my water so it wasn’t a problem lol. I’d recommend the pork belly noodle soup as a safe first choice if you’ve never been here ^^ it’s soo flavorful & always makes me feel better. It’s not spicy at all & has plenty of pork.
The restaurant itself is a little cramped & the seats are a bit uncomfortable, but service is quick. I’ve never waited longer than a minute to be seated or be brought my order after i came in :)”
“Absolutely amazing. Was shocked by how great the staff is. The integrity and commitment to customer service is hard to find in a business today. 10 out of 10 would recommend.”
“Ate there for the 1st time. Delicious food, great service. Will definitely go back!”

“Expertly crafted classics and creative mixology by a bartender who clearly took pride in their work. Perfectly made manhattan, no fuss, just exactly as it should be crafted. The gin fizz was a marvel to watch being made, if you’ve never seen one made. The bartender shook the cocktail for 10 minutes, all while taking other orders and making different drinks. The mixology trick for getting the soda to the bottom so the fizz rises above the top of the glass is clever and takes a steady hand. The entire experience was exactly what I often look for in a cocktail bar. It was a quieter Sunday night, so I imagine the ambiance changes on busier nights or when Carolina is playing a game, but I imagine the drinks would still not disappoint.”
“I want to congratulate our server Midula she was slammed with customers and she had the biggest smile and such fast smooth service. The food was hot and delicious the food was hot and smooth. Environment. Very chilled and relax a great experience from the city”
“The food was amazing and the proprietor was great! I also ordered a hot chocolate with my meal and it was so good, I had to order another one. The menu items were inexpensive as well.
If you are in the area for breakfast or dinner, you won't be disappointed. It was worth every penny and more.”
“What a great venue! Loud and rocking, great patrons and Fuji, the co-owner and bar tender is such a nice guy! There was plenty of space for my wheelchair and I had a great view in spite of a sold out crowd. Band was fantastic, loud and just as energetic as the crowd. Can’t wait to come back for more music from up and coming bands. Fairly priced tickets, fairly priced drinks and an amazing staff. It’s a standing O from this music lover. Felt like home as soon as I got inside. I miss the small, intimate venues I used to frequent in NY/NJ and I think I found my new go to for a great night out. Thanks Fuji and 506!”

“This venue was amazing. I got married here last week and it was beautiful and all the staff was attentive and helpful. Honeysuckle also has their own bar service which we used. They offered several drink options, which most being locally sourced. We also used their catering service and all of the food was exactly what we wanted. Even with some special requests they were so accommodating. They decorated our arch with beautiful greenery and flowers the day of the ceremony and it turned out gorgeous. The only minor issue would be the bridal yurt was very hot and even with the AC it was quite miserable for the whole bridal party, including the makeup and hair artists. But a minor compliant for the space and service we received from all of the Honeysuckle Tea house team. Thank you Sandy!”
“A good ambiance for a relaxing lunch with a friend. Bright, fun place, nice staff. Good menu, both healthy and fun options. I had the steak sandwich with fries. The fries were great, I liked the sandwich but thought it was a little light on the steak. Overall a good lunch option (with parking).”
“Early dinner with clients & peers, wonderful atmosphere. The food is scrumptious the cocktails are delicious, the Manhattan excellent. The staff we're very friendly, for a party of seven everyone food arrived together. Five star dinning!”
“The waitress we had was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the outdoor seating was awesome! Food was great😀”

“Such a great place to grab a quick bite! The food is authentic and delicious. Salsa will kick your butt if you let it :-) The prices are right and the people are kind!”

“I had brunch with my family today at Mama Dips in Chapel Hill. We were greeted by the warm and friendly manager who took us to a premier table. They quickly set up a high chair for my Grand Daughter. The food was delicious, fresh and perfectly cooked. I will be back with my family next time we are CH.”
“Good food and menu. some items overly salted. Most items are delicious. Need cornbread on the menu, hush puppies too dense and hard. Fish, cabbage and mashed potatoes are so good. Owner formerly worked at K and W so hurry on over and get your old menu favorites. He is very nice and accomodating, open to suggestions.”

“Jalen served up our delicious plates and broils with grace and friendly attention. The bourbon glaed salmon was cooked to.perfection. Being a Marylander, I was delighted and impressed to learn that the crabcakes come from Maryland. My husband truly enjoyed his. I hope other greens in addition to green beans will be added to the menu. We will definitely return the next time we are in the triangle area.”
“Great sandwich for lunch -PMT- prosciutto mozzarella tomato on the best bread I’ve tasted in Chapel Hill in 40+ years. Or at least as i remember 40 yrs of bread. And came with a salad that was also very good -a cut way above most house salads that most restaurants serve. Will look forward to coming back for the dinner choices plus an appropriate wine which I could not partake of at lunch due to having to work on a ladder in the afternoon. Can you say cannoli for dessert!”
“10 STARS!! We had the most authentic and delicious meal at The Latin Effect on Franklin Street. I had arepos and my husband had chalupas - both so tasty and so different from standard tacos and nachos (also on their menu!). Generous portions and delicious sauces plus fresh hot chips and homemade salsa, and pickled coleslaw with a real bite to it rounded out the meal for a great value. Our server was so helpful in guiding our choices - plus made a fantastic caipereña! We will return!”

“I am in town and really wanted to eat healthy. This place was close and the young man who wanted on me was very helpful. I told him I had never been there before so he explained all my options. The proportions were reasonable, but probably for a grown man it might not be enough. I actually didn’t put any protein on my bowl because I’m a vegetarian so this was a great option for me. The flavor was wonderful. I think it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had in a long time. They could keep the bar a little more cleaned up and the avocado was bad so I asked him to give me a fresh avocado which she did without any complaints . I will go back here and eat, and I think the prices are reasonable as well. Just needs a little your observation to the details around the restaurant. Keeping everything fresh is really important us to setting like this. I love it!”
“I couldn't wait to try Canes, because we don't have one where I live. The food is ok but the Cane's sauce is top tier as well as the sweet tea. The chicken stripe and fries are average but the sauce does take them both to the next level. Ive been twice so far and I'd go back next time im in the area.”

“MunchiLove really lives up to the love in its name! 💛 It’s been such a sweet addition to the area—exactly what we needed. While my son is at Cor4 Fitness for Speed School or getting tutoring at Sylvan, I can relax with a delicious latte (the strawberry white mocha is my favorite ☕) or a fresh pastry—highly recommend the blueberry cream cheese muffins 🫐🧁! The only challenge is the lack of shade on the patio. I often bring my dog and like to sit outside, but it's been extremely hot with no umbrellas or coverings. 🌞 The sun makes it tough to see my laptop screen, and my dog gets overheated quickly 🐶💦. With just a little shade, the patio would be much more comfortable—and I’d definitely be there even more often!”
“Pulp is so delicious and energizing! You can really taste the freshness of their product. One reason I keep going back is because I feel refresh and ready to go after eating here. Other fast food places make me feel heavy and slow me down. I really enjoy the wheatgrass shot as it is so healthy and makes me feel great! Their wraps and smooties are delicious. Its like tasting sunshine in your body. I would recommend Pulp to anyone who would like to feel amazing and charged for their day!”
“Huge slices, 30 inch pies for a more than fair price, featuring seasonal local vegetables and a red tail grain crust. Friendly staff, wonderful outdoor seating. This is a tasty middle of the road New York style pie with some outstanding ingredients and otherwise decent ingredients. For me the sauce to cheese ratio is just right and the tomato is nice and tangy. The ranch is dill heavy and refreshing and would be great on a piece of grilled snapper but isn't what I'm wanting for ranch with a slice. A picnic table filled patio is a lovely way to enjoy a yummy lunch and a cold pint with family and friends. I'm thrilled to see a high quality flour being used at my local pizza joint and the pizza is tasty enough (and a fantastic deal for the portion size) to make for many return visits.”
