“Our server, Edwin, provided excellent service and was timely and attentive. the food was delicious! Cant wait to go back.”
“We went in the middle of the week, celebrating a 50th birthday party. We were a small group. We had the delight of having Mitch as our server, he was incredibly patient with those with allergies and anxiety. Thank you for that Mitch. It was a moment that everyone at the table was grateful for. We later went back in the week to get the Brilliant Cheeseburgers to go. 100 stars.”
“Had a wonderful dining experience at Bluebird. Thoughtfully crafted dishes, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable evening. Every detail, from the food to the service, reflected a commitment to quality and consistency. A great addition to the Chapel Hill dining scene, and definitely a place worth visiting again.”

“We had such a great experience. Lizz was our server and she was amazing!!! This was our family’s first time here and we were celebrating our son for earning straight A’s on his report card. They gave him the most delicious donuts and Lizz made really excellent dish recommendations. We will return for sure!!”

“Great, creative food and excellent cocktails. Thanks for looking after the large wedding group last night. The wine was fantastic too, the whole trio of white, rosé and red. It looked like everyone had a great time, just like me!”

“The vibe here was very good, the service was good, not overly attentive but still good. The food was good not great, wine selection was limited but adequate. All in all it was a good dining experience but nothing special enough to bring me back again, especially for the prices attached to food that didn’t do much for me.”
“Absolutely amazing experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was elegant and welcoming. The food was outstanding—each dish was beautifully presented and packed with authentic Indian flavors. The spices were perfectly balanced, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients.
The service was exceptional as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, helping us choose the perfect dishes.
If you’re looking for a true Indian fine dining experience, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended and we will definitely be coming back!”
“The food was fine overall — the fig salad was very good and the affogato was delicious (with caramel sauce-delicioso). The grilled bruschetta didn't seem grilled — it was lightly toasted rather than the charred rustic bread I expected. And I thought there was too much piled on it. I didn't taste the pastas but my table mates enjoyed theirs. The service was superb— sweet and friendly and accommodating. Bravo for Massimo! He made the night enjoyable for us. Eating outside added to the ambience and felt a little more authentically Italian despite “Volare” playing in the background.”
“Visited for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back. Right off the bat, the employees were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our water glasses stayed full and our cocktails were delicious. The food was phenomenal—appetizer, entrées, and dessert. The presentation was lovely and the taste was divine. The Whipped Feta & Fig Crostinis were a surprise hit! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Red Cream Paneer Curry and I couldn’t get enough of the Tagliatelle Pasta Alfredo with Wild Mushrooms and Shiitake Bacon. The ice cream sundae was great, too! It was my first time tasting non-dairy ice cream that actually tastes good! Given the quality and care taken to provide vegan food that is THIS tasty, I think the pricing is fair, especially when compared to other local cafés/bistros/restaurants in the area. Casual, kid-friendly atmosphere, but still nice enough for a date night. Can’t wait to come back!”

“My husband and I visited Momo's Master for the first time this evening and had a wonderful experience. We tried Steamed Momo's with veggie filling served with 2 of their signature dipping sauces, and Himalayan Fried Rice (vegetarian). It was great to see the option for both masala tea and coffee on the menu, especially in a downtown Chapel Hill restaurant, therefore we had to try both Himalayan Masala Tea and Himalayan Coffee, and we were glad that we did. I usually do not write reviews but when the food is that good, I do. The momos were one of the best we have had so far and the flavors of both the signature sauces blended well with that of momos. Himalayan fried rice was hot, spicy and very good. The Punjabi guy, Sukhi, and Usha (from Nepal) - both chefs, were great; Sukhi came and asked us how everything was and ensured that it was to our liking. Both Himalayan Masala Tea and Himalayan coffee tasted good, especially Himalayan Masala Tea was really good. The place has a nice, comfortable ambiance. We look forward to visiting the restaurant again and enjoying the food in near future. Highly recommend.”
“I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! If you’re sick or just having a bad day, there is genuinely no better pick-me-up in chapel hill. I’ve ordered from here 3 times so far & they’ve never disappointed. My favorite is the pork belly noodle soup, but I’ve also gotten the braised beef noodle soup as well as the beef broth with celery & scallion (excellent for a sore throat!). The braised beef noodle soup was a bit too spicy for me, but our server never stopped filling up my water so it wasn’t a problem lol. I’d recommend the pork belly noodle soup as a safe first choice if you’ve never been here ^^ it’s soo flavorful & always makes me feel better. It’s not spicy at all & has plenty of pork.
The restaurant itself is a little cramped & the seats are a bit uncomfortable, but service is quick. I’ve never waited longer than a minute to be seated or be brought my order after i came in :)”
“Ate there for the 1st time. Delicious food, great service. Will definitely go back!”
“The food was amazing tonight! Dumplings were definitely a favorite! Will be visiting again!”

“Expertly crafted classics and creative mixology by a bartender who clearly took pride in their work. Perfectly made manhattan, no fuss, just exactly as it should be crafted. The gin fizz was a marvel to watch being made, if you’ve never seen one made. The bartender shook the cocktail for 10 minutes, all while taking other orders and making different drinks. The mixology trick for getting the soda to the bottom so the fizz rises above the top of the glass is clever and takes a steady hand. The entire experience was exactly what I often look for in a cocktail bar. It was a quieter Sunday night, so I imagine the ambiance changes on busier nights or when Carolina is playing a game, but I imagine the drinks would still not disappoint.”
“What a great venue! Loud and rocking, great patrons and Fuji, the co-owner and bar tender is such a nice guy! There was plenty of space for my wheelchair and I had a great view in spite of a sold out crowd. Band was fantastic, loud and just as energetic as the crowd. Can’t wait to come back for more music from up and coming bands. Fairly priced tickets, fairly priced drinks and an amazing staff. It’s a standing O from this music lover. Felt like home as soon as I got inside. I miss the small, intimate venues I used to frequent in NY/NJ and I think I found my new go to for a great night out. Thanks Fuji and 506!”
“Very good food environment and service, everything is so perfect and will come back.”
“Early dinner with clients & peers, wonderful atmosphere. The food is scrumptious the cocktails are delicious, the Manhattan excellent. The staff we're very friendly, for a party of seven everyone food arrived together. Five star dinning!”
“First time visiting, but won’t be the last. Loved the food with unique flavorful dishes you won’t find anywhere else. Food arrived quickly and hot. I also appreciate that the menu gave very detailed descriptions especially since I’m not familiar with an Asian fused soul food menu.Couldn’t decided what to order because every combo appeared delicious. Ordered enough to sample. Now we’ll order the rest of the menu for a future return visit.Currently open on Saturdays.”

“We just wrapped up our dream wedding at Honeysuckle Tea House and wanted to give a shoutout to the incredible Honeysuckle team (Justin and Sandy especially—thank you!).
As a bride, I wanted to simplify as much as possible and streamline where I could. Honeysuckle absolutely crushed it with what they offered in-house. The ease of planning was one of the things that drew me to Honeysuckle initially and it did not disappoint.
The venue itself had so much natural beauty and so many different places for people to dance, eat, play, explore, connect, and relax. It created a really fun, flowy and welcoming experience for our guests. Oh and I cannot forget to mention that the food is really really good. Super nourishing and delicious (shoutout to the tortellini and salmon!!).
Thank you for helping us to create a wedding that felt authentic, FUN and exceeded all expectations. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
“A good ambiance for a relaxing lunch with a friend. Bright, fun place, nice staff. Good menu, both healthy and fun options. I had the steak sandwich with fries. The fries were great, I liked the sandwich but thought it was a little light on the steak. Overall a good lunch option (with parking).”
“We like pizza and a salad makes it into a nice meal. Their house salad was a good start - hmm, also healthy food! Then we chose the Quatro Formaggio (4 cheese) pizza - (they have quite a variety of different toppings) and we like it cooked crispy - and it was! The food was excellent, the service friendly, and the atmosphere very clean and pleasant. A wonderful accompaniment for a long discussion over food.”
“The waitress we had was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the outdoor seating was awesome! Food was great😀”

“Such a great place to grab a quick bite! The food is authentic and delicious. Salsa will kick your butt if you let it :-) The prices are right and the people are kind!”
“Since I moved to Chapel Hill, Lucha Tigre has been my favorite restaurant. Their service and quality can’t be denied, but I am so upset that the Asian Glazed Chicken (my favorite dish) has been removed from the menu.”

“I had brunch with my family today at Mama Dips in Chapel Hill. We were greeted by the warm and friendly manager who took us to a premier table. They quickly set up a high chair for my Grand Daughter. The food was delicious, fresh and perfectly cooked. I will be back with my family next time we are CH.”
“Good food and menu. some items overly salted. Most items are delicious. Need cornbread on the menu, hush puppies too dense and hard. Fish, cabbage and mashed potatoes are so good. Owner formerly worked at K and W so hurry on over and get your old menu favorites. He is very nice and accomodating, open to suggestions.”

“Jalen served up our delicious plates and broils with grace and friendly attention. The bourbon glaed salmon was cooked to.perfection. Being a Marylander, I was delighted and impressed to learn that the crabcakes come from Maryland. My husband truly enjoyed his. I hope other greens in addition to green beans will be added to the menu. We will definitely return the next time we are in the triangle area.”
“Great sandwich for lunch -PMT- prosciutto mozzarella tomato on the best bread I’ve tasted in Chapel Hill in 40+ years. Or at least as i remember 40 yrs of bread. And came with a salad that was also very good -a cut way above most house salads that most restaurants serve. Will look forward to coming back for the dinner choices plus an appropriate wine which I could not partake of at lunch due to having to work on a ladder in the afternoon. Can you say cannoli for dessert!”
“10 STARS!! We had the most authentic and delicious meal at The Latin Effect on Franklin Street. I had arepos and my husband had chalupas - both so tasty and so different from standard tacos and nachos (also on their menu!). Generous portions and delicious sauces plus fresh hot chips and homemade salsa, and pickled coleslaw with a real bite to it rounded out the meal for a great value. Our server was so helpful in guiding our choices - plus made a fantastic caipereña! We will return!”

“I am in town and really wanted to eat healthy. This place was close and the young man who wanted on me was very helpful. I told him I had never been there before so he explained all my options. The proportions were reasonable, but probably for a grown man it might not be enough. I actually didn’t put any protein on my bowl because I’m a vegetarian so this was a great option for me. The flavor was wonderful. I think it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had in a long time. They could keep the bar a little more cleaned up and the avocado was bad so I asked him to give me a fresh avocado which she did without any complaints . I will go back here and eat, and I think the prices are reasonable as well. Just needs a little your observation to the details around the restaurant. Keeping everything fresh is really important us to setting like this. I love it!”

“This was an utter delight. If I had expendable income, I would eat here daily. I did not catch the employee's name tonight, but he was so kind, that I believe it made the food taste all the better. Genuinely one of the best places I have eaten in this area, period. (And, I have enough for a second meal as well!)”
“I had a spectacular experience here! I built my own bowl, and Abby helped me choose what to get. I had many questions, but she was very knowledgeable and was able to guide me through the process. The bowl was so delicious and super filling. HIGHLY recommend coming here!”
“MunchiLove really lives up to the love in its name! 💛 It’s been such a sweet addition to the area—exactly what we needed. While my son is at Cor4 Fitness for Speed School or getting tutoring at Sylvan, I can relax with a delicious latte (the strawberry white mocha is my favorite ☕) or a fresh pastry—highly recommend the blueberry cream cheese muffins 🫐🧁! The only challenge is the lack of shade on the patio. I often bring my dog and like to sit outside, but it's been extremely hot with no umbrellas or coverings. 🌞 The sun makes it tough to see my laptop screen, and my dog gets overheated quickly 🐶💦. With just a little shade, the patio would be much more comfortable—and I’d definitely be there even more often!”
“Pulp is so delicious and energizing! You can really taste the freshness of their product. One reason I keep going back is because I feel refresh and ready to go after eating here. Other fast food places make me feel heavy and slow me down. I really enjoy the wheatgrass shot as it is so healthy and makes me feel great! Their wraps and smooties are delicious. Its like tasting sunshine in your body. I would recommend Pulp to anyone who would like to feel amazing and charged for their day!”
“Huge slices, 30 inch pies for a more than fair price, featuring seasonal local vegetables and a red tail grain crust. Friendly staff, wonderful outdoor seating. This is a tasty middle of the road New York style pie with some outstanding ingredients and otherwise decent ingredients. For me the sauce to cheese ratio is just right and the tomato is nice and tangy. The ranch is dill heavy and refreshing and would be great on a piece of grilled snapper but isn't what I'm wanting for ranch with a slice. A picnic table filled patio is a lovely way to enjoy a yummy lunch and a cold pint with family and friends. I'm thrilled to see a high quality flour being used at my local pizza joint and the pizza is tasty enough (and a fantastic deal for the portion size) to make for many return visits.”
“I tried their espresso martini and it was absolutely delicious with perfect balance of bittersweet with just the right kick of alcohol, finished beautifully with coffee beans on top. They also offer several different martini varieties, which is great if you’re a martini lover. The place itself is cozy with a really good vibe, perfect for spending quality time and relaxing.”
