“I love this place. Love the coffee. At least I used to. In January 2026, Corporate released that the cinnamon sugar line would be permanent. Then why is it never available?? You expect me to beleive you really sell out 2 hours after opening? Come on guys, get it together! Order more cinnamon sugar already so I can come back to my favorite coffee shop!“

“MunchiLove really lives up to the love in its name! 💛 It’s been such a sweet addition to the area—exactly what we needed. While my son is at Cor4 Fitness for Speed School or getting tutoring at Sylvan, I can relax with a delicious latte (the strawberry white mocha is my favorite ☕) or a fresh pastry—highly recommend the blueberry cream cheese muffins 🫐🧁! The only challenge is the lack of shade on the patio. I often bring my dog and like to sit outside, but it's been extremely hot with no umbrellas or coverings. 🌞 The sun makes it tough to see my laptop screen, and my dog gets overheated quickly 🐶💦. With just a little shade, the patio would be much more comfortable—and I’d definitely be there even more often!“

“Visited for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back. Right off the bat, the employees were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our water glasses stayed full and our cocktails were delicious. The food was phenomenal—appetizer, entrées, and dessert. The presentation was lovely and the taste was divine. The Whipped Feta & Fig Crostinis were a surprise hit! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Red Cream Paneer Curry and I couldn’t get enough of the Tagliatelle Pasta Alfredo with Wild Mushrooms and Shiitake Bacon. The ice cream sundae was great, too! It was my first time tasting non-dairy ice cream that actually tastes good! Given the quality and care taken to provide vegan food that is THIS tasty, I think the pricing is fair, especially when compared to other local cafés/bistros/restaurants in the area. Casual, kid-friendly atmosphere, but still nice enough for a date night. Can’t wait to come back!“

“The best thing here is the gelato. It’s super high end. Smoothies >$7 latte >$7. Served in to go cups. Not a ton of natural lighting, but some seating decent for working. The gelato is really nice actually, esp spicy mango.

“I tried their espresso martini and it was absolutely delicious with perfect balance of bittersweet with just the right kick of alcohol, finished beautifully with coffee beans on top. They also offer several different martini varieties, which is great if you’re a martini lover. The place itself is cozy with a really good vibe, perfect for spending quality time and relaxing.“

“On the night of the UNC-Duke game, February 7th, this Starbucks on Franklin Street showed my family a kindness I will never forget. My husband became separated from us in the post-game crowds. I tracked him via Find My iPhone and found him through the window — hunched over, his blood sugar dangerously low. The staff had already noticed he didn't look right, let him in, and given him water before I even arrived. The employee at the door let me in immediately when I explained who he was. While I went back out into the chaos to find our daughter, the team kept watch.
They were handling one of the most intense nights Franklin Street sees all year — thousands of people flooding the street after a big UNC win — and yet they were calm, warm, and genuinely caring. They may not have realized how serious his situation could have become, but their instinct to look after a stranger made all the difference.
These are exactly the kind of people you hope to encounter when things go sideways. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🙏“

“Tried this Starbucks at Barbee Chapel Rd in Chapel Hill. It's situated inside Harris Teeter, so you can enjoy coffee while grocery shopping or just come & enjoy coffee. They also have one designated entry as well. Plus, there's outdoor seating with trees covering it.
Somehow I don't feel it's good for studies/work as it connects with Harris Teeter so not that calm always.“
