The grilled bruschetta didn't seem grilled — it was lightly toasted rather than the charred rustic bread I expected. And I thought there was too much piled on it. I didn't taste the pastas but my table mates enjoyed theirs. The service was superb— sweet and friendly and accommodating. Bravo for Massimo! He made the night enjoyable for us. Eating outside added to the ambience and felt a little more authentically Italian despite “Volare” playing in the background.“

This really is a predominantly takeout location, but I've got to give it 5 stars because they have a huge bottle of hand sanitizer for customers and a candy bowl for kids. It was an ideal takeout experience with an active kiddo in tow.

“My husband and I threw a last-minute, surprise wedding disguised as an engagement party on the unseasonably frigid Friday after Thanksgiving 2025. Honeysuckle Tea House went above and beyond in accommodating our scheme, our many, many dietary restrictions, the short-time frame, and all the warmth we would require to make the wedding everything we dreamt of. And so it was!! Such a magical day!! We are so fortunate to have had our wedding here.“

“Nice old gritty yogurt shop, a Chapel Hill staple. Yogurt/cones are great. The sloping, hand rail-less, sharp-edged brick steps are a death trap, no idea how this passes any city standards. But the yogurt is good and you get to watch people trip on the steps as they try to get in and out.“

“Great experience today at clean juice chapel hill. Was greeted as soon as I walked in with a cheerful attitude and warm smile. Ended up getting the recovery one which was so good. This was my first time here and I really had no clue what to get, but Ethan was so helpful in his recommendations and service.
