“Benjamin made my Earl Please (an alcohol free cocktail from their menu) and was so kind and attentive. As a graduate student who can't drink alcohol much due to disabilities, places with options for me me to enjoy delicious and fancy beverages are special. The only thing that makes me sad is that I'm not rich enough to order more than one a day! ?? Someone pay me more money! It's so tasty! Best non-lavender mocktail ever!Dietary restrictions: Alcohol free cocktails; non-alcoholic beverages“
“Pretty, trendy space with cute indoor and outdoor spaces. Great drinks menu and innovative food menu. NY Strip Steak Teriyaki Bento was one of the best Asian meals I've ever had. The NY Strip Steak was grilled to perfection, sashimi was on point, and sauce was amazing. Highly recommend for a business dinner, date night, or casual fun meet up with friends!“
“We went for my husband's birthday mid-afternoon. The food was great and the buffet had a great selection of vegan food. Vegan and gluten free foods were labeled. The servers were very attentive and gave us free wine and dessert. They also sang happy birthday and offered to take our picture!“
“Please bring the Jerk Turkey Tacos back! My go-to is always the Baht Mi sandwich but this special caught my eye and boy am I glad I tried it. I haven't found an amazing jerk dish in the triangle but this knocked my socks off! I hope I'll see it again. Easily a top contender on the menu!“
“What a lovely space! My son invited me here this afternoon for my birthday and we had a great time drinking beer, playing games and just generally enjoying the warm atmosphere. Today was my first visit but I'm very excited to go back!“
“This was a great place. Definitely the German beer garden feel. We had a cheese platter and I ordered the schwein schnitzel with the red cabbage side. Really nice. Haven’t had a schnitzel in forever and this was worth it. Portion sizes were good - quality and quantity. I also got the Paulaner beer. Perfect compliment, rich beer. I recommend this place.“
“This place was the first place we went to for drinks. It had a speakeasy vibe to it with the low lighting. Their menu had a few drinks to choose from so we ordered the Marg, PCN, Cold Days In the Sun, and Feelin' Emotions. The drinks came out fairly quickly. The Marg was not bad, the Cold Days In the Sun was good and the Feelin' Emotions was tasty. It definitely was something I could see others try out too. The amount was not too much so it was good. Good place for drinks if you're in the area.“
“First experience at Alpaca today did not disappoint! The Ninth Street location was clean, well run, and super friendly! The food quality and quantity were amazing; a very good value. Great place to meet an old friend for some catching up over really good food.“
“We came for the food but left with plants! I cannot say enough great things about The Chelsea Cafe. The food was delicious and the service was perfect! We talked with owners who were great and they gave our daughter some of the plants to take home to plant ourselves! They also did a great job making the place feel homey within an office park! Highly recommend and will be back!“
“The Americano is my usual but I get the Drip coffee alot. It's like a mix between white label and processed without being too processed flavor. If you are coffee drinker, you know what I'm talking about. "Best of both worlds."“
“The food was delicious (chicken liver mousse and shrimp & grits are both superb), the service excellent, and the restaurant is beautiful. This is our new favorite restaurant in Durham! Special shout out to our server Kate and the owner Linda, both of whom helped make our experience special.“
“This place was SO wonderful from the food to the server to the experience. All around amazing. Our food was fantastic, as well as our coffee. And the best part: they gave us a blanket since we chose to sit on the patio rather than wait for an inside table! Literally the nicest people working here.“
“Oh my god it is AMAZING! I got the sweet potato and oat milk lattee made with actual sweet potatoes and it is the best coffee drink I’ve ever had! Not too sweet. The croissants are amazing and they have fresh pumpkin rolls the size of actual pumpkins. The rosemary sweet potato scones looked good too!“
“We just had a company event here on Saturday. The Clouds team was amazing as well as the food! They had great customer service and they were so accommodating and flexible. I've been working with Lexy Peterson to plan it. She and her GM were so easy and wonderful to work with! We had to make several changes, including last minute ones. It was a relief when they had no issues with accommodating our changes. I'm so thankful for the success of this event there! I know our company will be back for future events!“
“This food was well worth the wait! We have named them the best food truck to come to Roxboro. Grab the seasoned platter, banana pudding, and succotash..no disappointment! Sorry, we ate it all so fast and only have empty plate pictures to share, lol“
“Queeny's is a great spot for lunch, dinner, and late-night bites. Menu is simple, but offers variety. Beer/drinks/NA/mocktails are great. Some other review said the burgers were over seasoned; guess they prefer overcooked Bubba's. Bring your friends, seat yourself, order at the bar, enjoy the space.“
“Have driven by so many times and finally experienced the outdoor dining last night on a beautiful evening. The food was delicious (even thought they had run out of the rice and beans we were excited to try - just a great reason to go back!) Loved the drinks we tried, and we even splurged with some ice cream at the end. Service was fast and friendly. Now we just wish we had gone sooner!!“
“Great selection of southern foods with an elevated twist. Sure to please the die-hard barbecue lover but with touches that will win new fans. Side items are popular. The fries are plentiful. Raw oyster fans will be pleased. You’ll be planning your next trips to try the items you missed and to enjoy new favorites“

“Pleasant staff and very welcoming to all. The service is above and beyond here. I enjoyed the Ginger beer that's on tap. I appreciate being able to try the beer before I purchase. I came here on a Friday night for a free comedy show. The comedians Cabell and Tony were the funniest. I like that there was a food truck on site but I had food at home before arriving. The ambiance here was okay for a brewery space. The outdoor area was gravel and patio picnic tables which weren't the most comfortable but bearable for a free comedy experience.“
“One of the best atmospheres in Durham. I moved here, did not know a soul, and have made some of the best friends I’ve ever had in my life thanks to this establishment. The staff is wonderful, and I always feel like I belong. They know a ton of the patrons by name making it a very comforting environment. The ciders are fantastic, and for those who aren’t as inclined to ciders, there are plenty of other drinks like pilsners, ipas and cocktails.“
“A wonderful music venue connected to a wonderful and affordable restaurant with a great selection of food and drinks. I highly recommend the poutine and the masala. After dinner we had the best time watching a sold out concert with VNV Nation and Traitrs. An amazing evening and event. I recommend checking them out for both the food and the entertainment.“
“The food, drinks, customer service, and ambiance are all amazing. We had the best experience. Our server, Juan, was super patient and knowledgeable about all the menu items and drinks. The chicken rolls are to die for. We will most definitely be returning soon and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. It's one of the best that I've had the pleasure of dining at“
“Fantastic concept done very well, the ingredients are high quality and prepared very well. We loved the spicy tuna and beef bulgogi sushi burrito. The crab rangoons were full of flavor and definitely a step up from what you would normally get. I'll definitely be back!“
“The rudest staff I have ever experienced in my entire life! I had poor customer service experience with the cashier and called to share feedback; Myra who said she was a manager literally screamed at me over the phone and would not listen to a single thing I had to say. She said I had a nasty attitude after I was the one who was treated poorly. I will never ever come here again! Rude and unprofessional; would not recommend!“
“Awesome spot next to Mezcalito. Wonderful staff and a really welcoming place, especially Cee (the GM). The drinks were well balanced and you could tell a lot of care goes into all the cocktails and beers. 10/10 will be going back in the future.“
“Omg, best country breakfast ever! Very low key place with homemade everything. I had the Grits bowl with eggs, black beans, and salsa over yellow grits, otherwise known as polenta. Yum! Big slab of homemade country sausage, double yum! Hubby had the herb biscuit with eggs and country sausage. The biscuits are HUGE, soft, and flaky. Delish! We bought a bag of 4 for $6 to take home for another day. I'd love to go back and try their lunch menu-also looked good. The restaurant is humble and homey. Tip- You order inside at the counter, pay at the register, and then they bring your order to your table. Plenty of parking and a large outdoor patio for those with their furry friends. Highly recommend!“
“Love this bar! Great drink selection, lovely bartenders, and a friendly neighborhood vibe. Also, it's very clean ✨ and usually there's plenty of parking nearby (in the parking lot by the farmer's market and side streets around it)“
“I had been meaning to try this spot for some time. As luck would have it, I was in the area for a different event and convinced the group to try out this spot. First off, you scan the qc code for the menu and to order. No cash was accepted. I didn't have a problem with this, but one of the crew did as they only had cash. We went at about lunchtime but the place was not busy and the workers were very attentive. Overall all, I enjoyed the food. Can it beat out grandma on the island, of course not. But, I liked the offering and was pleased with the visit. Plus, no one beat Grandma. Lol“
“Listen, I called this place and said I needed a large pizza and five minutes. Not only did they somehow someway make a large pizza in five minutes but it came out the oven tasting like heaven. It was literally delectable. Place is legit. Service was electric, the boys behind the counter completely understood the situation and completed the mission. Thank you god and devils pizza.“
“Highly recommend the American and Supermo Italiano pizza. The meat was delicious and the pizza was very light (not too doughy). It was cooked to perfection and had a sturdy undercarriage. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in the triangle area and it’s pretty reasonably priced.“
“tucked away from the main street, to find the entrance you will have to turn into a parking lot. many flavors to choose from, including some very unique ones! staff was kind and patient, especially since we took a bit of time to decide our flavors haha! they even have dairy free flavors. they have fun and unique flavors, we enjoyed the gooey buttercake and crambleberry crisp the best. would visit again if in the area“
“First time trying the Grub Durham. We came to for lunch and I was thrilled to see pancakes on the menu. Who doesn't like pancakes for lunch! Service was fairly quick with a small lunch crowd. I enjoyed the outside rooftop. Far as the food(3.5 stars), it was okay but nothing too special. I may have to come again and try one of the sandwiches on the menu.“
“This is an absolutely wonderful brewery! The beer was amazing.. we tried 9 beers and they were all so good! I have visited over 100 breweries in the last 3 years and they are easily in my top 3… super impressive! The staff was so friendly!!10/10“
“Great bar with great bartenders. Bethlehem is just the sweetest. She ran out of lemon juice, but my drink called for it so she went out of her way to squeeze lemons for me at 12 am. Not a lot of places that will do that for their customers!!“
“Their street tacos remind me of my grandma cooking tacos in her restaurant in Illinois. The lingua tacos remind me of taquerias by Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth Texas. No other place in the triangle compares.Previously having lived out west, I know my tacos.?????????“
“My favorite bar in Durham! They have an excellent selection of wine, beer and seltzers. There is always good music playing and a fun movie on the TV. Very pet friendly, so bring your dog (or your cat)! Both staff and customers are welcoming and ready to have a great conversation!“
“Some recipes have been changed not for the best... Dining outside is great compared to the noise inside. For the price, may we recommend a little bit more of table setup like a paper place mat? Also, a wiser way to place / space customers would be highly appreciated especially when a crazy table of students is sitting next to us, while we are in the middle of a calm and lovely time.“
“Very very loud. Not for date night nor discussion. The veggy burger was terrible, but that's what I get for trying something new! Ordering was easy, very simple menu not complicated. Nice location near the DPAC. About $20 to 25 per person. Cute small cut thin fries w visible chunks of sea salt...mmmmm tasty!“
“Amazing taste every time I visit. Nice vibes, peaceful place. Highly recommended.Low carb and very healthy food.Vegetarian options: You can customize your food if you don’t eat meat or animal products.Dietary restrictions: You can customize your foodParking: Parking is free but limited. Place tends to stay full so most likely you will have to park in the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps for wheelchairs available.“
“I was new to the area a year ago and set out to find the best coffee shop in Durham. I had Bean Traders early on and kept trying other ones and nothing else was close! Whether it’s plain coffee, a latte, or any of there delicious food items they’re the best around. It usually is pretty busy (because who wouldn’t want to be there!?) so be sure to allow plenty of time if you’re planning on hanging out there.“
“A cute place to meet friends or get work done. The tables are long so you sit community style but when I went, it was a good mix of people trying to get work done and some who came to socialize. The mugs that the hot cocoa came in were so cute! There were so many hot chocolate flavors to choose from. I got the classic dark chocolate. It was delicious! Perfect combination of dark, creamy chocolate that wasn't too sweet. The churro went perfectly with the hot chocolate. I would recommend the set of 4 for $5. The cinnamon sugar dipped in chocolate sauce was by far my fav“
“OUTSTANDING!!! my family and I were there for the art exhibit and we had dinner there. the food was amazing and the staff was kind and accommodating. Do yourself a favor and spend a little time in this wonderful Cafe you will not be disappointed !!“
“We love the buffet! Unfortunately, the buffet switched from weekdays to the weekend. We still prefer this Indian buffet over all the other in the area. The buffet changes daily, and there's always plenty of good vegetarian and meat options. They also separate the meat and vegetarian options at the buffet, which I think is a big plus. Not all their food is spicy, but some is. If you like spice, this is the Indian restaurant to try.Vegetarian options: One section of the bar is completely vegetarian!Parking: Never an issue with parking“
“We got the Taco Bar catering at our offsite location for a 25 person party and let me tell you - it was FANTASTIC. The food was hot and delicious and the partygoers loved it. Also, there was so much that we sent everyone home with another plate! Highly recommend!!!The only issue I had was that the driver was around 10 minutes late (and we were right downtown Durham, so it wasn't like the location was far out or hard to find). Give yourself a buffer on the delivery time and you'll be fine.Would 100% order again!“
“Love this place for some rapid fast and dank Korean BBQ bowls. Kinda like chipotle with the style of service/food presentation but double the quantity and double the speed of getting the food to you. Was some super dank stuff, a little more pricey than a typical chipotle chicken bowl though. Nicely cooked and delicious kimchi. This place definitely hit the spot, but if you’re looking for spicy, even the spiciest items here are tolerable to a non-spicy tolerant person. Should definitely amp up the spice level on the spice dishes.“
“Marcus (not sure how to spell the name, the one with fantastic hair) took care of a minor problem with professionalism and wonderful hospitality! My friends and I drop by every Sunday for a cinnamon bun and coffee. It’s been our tradition for the past year and it’s been a JOY to be greeted by Marcus every Sunday. Thank you for always making our Sundays extra sweet with your delicious baked goods and great customer service :)“
“Great outdoor atmosphere and good service. Good selection of food and drinks. Always enjoy a business who rehabs an old garage as they have a lot of character. Be aware that parking has been limited the past couple years due to the new construction in the area.“
“I love this place so much. I spent many hot summer days going to pelican snowballs. It is awesome to watch them make your snow cone. And they have a nice area where you can play corn hole. The prices are very reasonable and fair. I personally never get the same flavor. I always spin the wheel and let it pick my flavor. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes pure greatness.“
“Went here yesterday for the first time and was greatly delighted by the food. We ordered the NC *BBQ* sandwich, Cheese fries and the Soul Bowl. Exquisite Vegan Food and great customer service. Thank you for taking time to explain the menu and ingredients. I will definitely be back.“
