The balance of flavors and the presentation is outstanding. We drove an hour and a half to try this restaurant and it was totally worth it. If I lived closer I would definitely come here once a week or twice.
I would just suggest them to keep the restaurant clean inside. It was little sticky by the table while we were eating.

“For the past 3 years, my family and I have been coming to Marco’s Pizza on Highway 54 in Durham every single Friday, and I can honestly say this location is one of the best-run restaurants I’ve ever experienced. DJ, Nate, and the entire team consistently provide outstanding customer service every single time we visit.
The pizzas are always fresh, delicious, and made with care. I love that they continue bringing in new pizza options and changing things up while still maintaining great quality. My children and my entire family look forward to Marco’s Pizza Fridays every week.
What really stands out is the professionalism of the staff. The employees are always friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, patient, and attentive. They answer the phone promptly, and if they ask you to hold, they actually come back quickly instead of leaving you waiting. Orders are made on time, and we never have to deal with long waits.
The store itself is always clean, including the bathrooms and dining area, which says a lot about how much pride they take in this location.
I genuinely love everything about this store and everything about this pizza. As long as this Marco’s Pizza stays open and in business, this is where my family will continue getting our pizza. I honestly don’t even want pizza from anywhere else anymore. Thank you to DJ, Nate, and the whole team for being consistently amazing year after year!“

“Shamefully it’s my family’s first time eating here despite being longtime Durhamites. Ordered takeout for my mom’s birthday and it was great! Order was ready when I requested and it actually stayed very warm the entire time I traveled back home (about 15 minutes away). I got a breakfast sandwich with fried egg, turkey sausage, and cheese on an English muffin. I was pleasantly surprised that it actually had not one but two turkey sausage patties in it! Not to mention the egg and perfectly melted cheese. Mom enjoyed her Perfect Big Bull Breakfast as well. Will definitely be back soon!“

“We needed food pretty late night after a concert and Ma's hooked it up. Ot a few burgers and fries. The most delicious burger I've ever had.They're only open Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 8pm to 3am but the food is so delicious we went back the next night and tried the chicken cutlet which is also mega delicious.
Parking: Only 2 or 3 spaces but since its takeout /delivery only they dont stay occupied long“

“This is the only authentic pizza joint in Durham, serving the only authentic pie in Durnam. They kind of screwed it up by putting in a schmaltzy "cafe" bar but the pizza remains undamaged.“

Not only is the outside dining area bordered by planters with a variety of lovely, interesting plants but the area adjacent to the parking lot is also attractively landscaped. “Wasn't familiar with Panera. Bought a bagel with cream cheese. They delivered an uncut, cold bagel. As I was cutting through the bagel, a young lady said that they would have done that for me. I asked why the bagel was cold, she replied I had to ask for a toasted and sliced bagel. When she realized I didn't know, she went and got me a toasted and sliced bagel. Service above and beyond these days. ❤“

“This location of Chick-fil-A doesn't have the mobile through drive through feature, so it can take a little longer than normal if you're used to using Mobile Thru. It still moves pretty quickly, and the people are very friendly and helpful there. The parking lot is small, I've never tried to park and go in to the actual restaurant, but I imagine during busy times of the day it would be difficult to do so because of the traffic coming and going for the drive through.“
