“I wish I had taken a moment to take a picture of my sandwich, but it was so good that I didn’t want to put it down. They were out of their trout salad (food supply issues outside of their control) so it was bluefish instead and I was impressed! Everything is very fresh and carefully prepared. Bread A+, pickled onions crispy and not too pungent, arugula immaculate and the bluefish so fresh, you are wondering if somehow you were transported closer to the sea. My friend’s pastrami sandwich looked great as well. I may have to try that next time. We shared freshly made potato chips and an onion dip. Also yummy.“

“If I could, I would give this place 10 stars. customer service is amazing as well as the food. Delicious. 10/10
The balance of flavors and the presentation is outstanding. We drove an hour and a half to try this restaurant and it was totally worth it. If I lived closer I would definitely come here once a week or twice.
I would just suggest them to keep the restaurant clean inside. It was little sticky by the table while we were eating.

“Shamefully it’s my family’s first time eating here despite being longtime Durhamites. Ordered takeout for my mom’s birthday and it was great! Order was ready when I requested and it actually stayed very warm the entire time I traveled back home (about 15 minutes away). I got a breakfast sandwich with fried egg, turkey sausage, and cheese on an English muffin. I was pleasantly surprised that it actually had not one but two turkey sausage patties in it! Not to mention the egg and perfectly melted cheese. Mom enjoyed her Perfect Big Bull Breakfast as well. Will definitely be back soon!“

“The manager here always blows me away. He’s hustling no matter the day or time - joking that’s how he gets his exercise. And I saw him helping a cashier in training once and he was so kind and patient, helpful but empowering the trainee that they knew what to do. I never expect mindblowing service at a takeaway pizza joint but this Marco’s gets me every time. And it keeps us coming back. Not to mention the pizza is always perfectly cooked.“

“This is the only authentic pizza joint in Durham, serving the only authentic pie in Durnam. They kind of screwed it up by putting in a schmaltzy "cafe" bar but the pizza remains undamaged.“

“We needed food pretty late night after a concert and Ma's hooked it up. Ot a few burgers and fries. The most delicious burger I've ever had.They're only open Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 8pm to 3am but the food is so delicious we went back the next night and tried the chicken cutlet which is also mega delicious.
Parking: Only 2 or 3 spaces but since its takeout /delivery only they dont stay occupied long“

“Excellent coffee, very nice staff and great seating. However, lately the music is quite awful especially on a Saturday; heavy metal type of music and screaming sounds coming out of the speakers. Missing those times when music was mellow and lots of old classics were played. Still a 5 star rating since it is a great place.“

“The food is ample reason to frequent Saladelia. But now that their new location is so beautifully landscaped there is even more reason to frequent Saladelia. Not only is the outside dining area bordered by planters with a variety of lovely, interesting plants but the area adjacent to the parking lot is also attractively landscaped. “Wasn't familiar with Panera. Bought a bagel with cream cheese. They delivered an uncut, cold bagel. As I was cutting through the bagel, a young lady said that they would have done that for me. I asked why the bagel was cold, she replied I had to ask for a toasted and sliced bagel. When she realized I didn't know, she went and got me a toasted and sliced bagel. Service above and beyond these days. ❤“

“Had dinner this evening with my daughter that is attending Duke. The meal was delicious and the service was amazing. We sat at the bar, the other side of the restaurant was loud. There was no wait at the bar and we were able to enjoy each other with conversation.“
