“My dad used to take us as kids to this Captain D's when we lived in Durham (2000s). He moved to Graham, NC two years ago but he still travels to this restaurant at least once a month. Today, he invited my siblings and I to join him. This time we did not use one table like the old days, we needed three because we each have children of our own! It is always a pleasure dining in because the staff is always extra nice and caring. Today we felt extra loved and cared for, not only by our parents, but by every staff member of Captain D's. I didn't catch everyone's name, but I wanted to give a huge shout out to each and every member that was working today. We were there around 11:47 a.m. and we look forward to going back soon. After all, we enjoy that 40 minute drive, too!“

“Was driving by and spotted the Cookout - never been before so I checked the reviews and it had seemingly high reviews for a fast food chain - I ordered the peanut butter Oreo milkshake and a regular burger with grilled onions.Had no idea why it was called the cookout but the second I took a bite of my burger i immediately knew, it tasted straight like a burger you get from a cookout right off the grill! I know BK tries to hit you with their “flame grilled” but it can’t stand next to this burger! And THE MILKSHAKE - I have no words other than it was GREAT! Found my new cheat meal spot! Looking forward to coming back!“

“I give service a 3 star rating because one of the employees (His name is Philip), has been a rude server. There were two instances of his rudeness; one was when I asked a cashier if the cheeseburger had two patties or one and in an abrupt fashion he points at the menu which was quite unnecessary. Then there was another time when he called me and my mother's order and pushed one of the bags which again, didn't need to happen. When making people's food and explaining the menu the customers you have to give genuine service and not show a poor attitude. It's a poor reflection on the store and your coworkers.“

Last time I had Chick-fil-a was about a decade ago. Always preferred burgers over chicken sandwiches. But this is probably the only chicken sandwich I’d voluntarily order in any establishment.

I had the chicken sandwich deluxe and it was just juicy, refreshing, and a flavor punch to my picky tongue. Added the chick-fil-a sauce and a bit of the hot sauce and as Ross would call it, a moist maker that takes things to the next level. Normally I eat half of the buns (I’d always get protein style in you-know-where and out), but I just devoured the whole thing whole.

Waffle fries was not as crispy as I’d like but still very flavorful.

BUT let me tell you about the kale crunch. TO DIE FOR!! I guess they wash the kale in some sort of lemonade liquid and wring them out like towels. Takes out that grassy and wax feel from the kale and just brings the sweetness out. The cabbage and almonds add a nice crunch and nuttiness to it.

The actual lemonade was good too.

Will definitely put chicken-fil-a on my radar every time I visit home coz I live overseas now.“

They are usually busy therefore the food is always fresh. I get service with a smile and I appreciate that someone is always cleaning the dining area. I recommend to everyone that's in the area.“

“They get my order wrong a lot (probably due to the obviously rapid employee turnover rate) and the portions are smaller than once upon a time BUT the grub still hits the fast food spot and the milkshakes can't be beat for that price!

Parking: The area is not a friendly one. I don't recommend rolling your window down for anyone.“

Parking: The unit sits in front of Staples and Lowe's Foods. Advantage is you have a very large parking lot if you need it.

I called the store and explained the issue and the Assistant manager was a huge help. She insisted on fixing it even though it was my fault, this says a lot! There is a great leadership team and an amazing employees. I normally go in the night after work and I’ve always got hot food and fresh . They are my favorite location ! I’m big on customer service and how I get treated and will advocate for them. Advice to anyone that has an issue with this location, give them a chance to fix an issue. Everyone has made errors in their lifetime it’s not fair that we hold them to a higher standard. Be understanding to certain situations. Before calling corporate to complain call the store first. I wouldn’t advise that if I didn’t know from experience with this location, that customers are important to them!“

There was a little wait but was informed by staff twice that it would be out shortly and it was. A little wait for fresh fries is fine with me. “First time ever eating from FHS. Ordered online when I arrived was advised my subs were not made due to the toaster was down? Humph. I was perplexed that I did not receive a phone call prior to the 20 min or so, drive to the restaurant. Manager advised most folks do not want a refund over the phone. Okay I say. She provided me with gift vouchers for free subs that expire in 4 days I think? Don’t quote me on the time. I called back on the date the vouchers were to expire. Manager remembered me states oven is working and 20 mins to closing FHS made us the best Meatball Pepperoni Subs EVER!!
