“Wednesday afternoon drove to this spot from Fayetteville. It’s located in Durham and it’s a nice place to enjoy. The parking isn’t the best for it’s located in like a strip and u have to walk to the place, you CANT park on side of the road.

Now the food we got was a small portion of the loaded fries and it was enough for me. However if u get a large portion you can almost feed two people depending on appetite. I would travel back for this. Black owned.“

The one downside is five guys increased cost but on the flip side for that increased cost you are getting a damn good burger and fries fried in peanut oil and they also tell you the farm where the potatoes came from so even trade off in my opinion“

“My dad used to take us as kids to this Captain D's when we lived in Durham (2000s). He moved to Graham, NC two years ago but he still travels to this restaurant at least once a month. Today, he invited my siblings and I to join him. This time we did not use one table like the old days, we needed three because we each have children of our own! It is always a pleasure dining in because the staff is always extra nice and caring. Today we felt extra loved and cared for, not only by our parents, but by every staff member of Captain D's. I didn't catch everyone's name, but I wanted to give a huge shout out to each and every member that was working today. We were there around 11:47 a.m. and we look forward to going back soon. After all, we enjoy that 40 minute drive, too!“

The food was quite fast. However, unfortunately, the service was not stellar. I stood at the counter for a while before someone asked me how I was. I told him I was great and I was ready to order. Then they told me I needed to use the kiosk.

I’ve seen this at a couple of Taco Bell‘s as well. It seems like these locations are deterring a register team member. It’s almost like the push for self check out in retail.“

Cheese, egg, crispy bacon on a Biscuit! with a hash brown patty and some of the best coffee I've had in ages. This is a fast food joint. Very friendly counter staff. “This place really stands out from other cookouts, no other cookout ive been to is as fast as this one, i walked in to a queue of like +15 people... and within seconds it was my turn to order (i even had to ask the girl in the front for a moment to make up my mind).

The folks working there must be real-life speedrunners, and somehow unlike the rest of the franchise they don't mess up your orders (I've been here with my homies 4 times and they haven't had a single miss), and all that while still being very kind.

Also another thing this one has that others cookouts don't is: in-store dining, and the whole place is shimmering clean and cozy.

This place should be taken (if it ain't already) as a model for the franchise's standards.“

“Cook Out is the perfect name. It looks like a burger you made at home. It so isn't! It's sooo much better than what I can cook. And I can cook fairly tasty food. The onion rings are some of the best ever. I hope they keep expanding because now Illinois needs Cook Out! I liked walking up to the window to order. The drive thru seems more than adequate regarding speed of service but I never used it. Just watched it. The shakes seemed extremely popular even though we didn't have one. I'll always keep my eyes looking for Cook Out wherever we go on road trips.“

“I went to this cookout on 70 1540 Miami blvd this afternoon on Sunday and it was my first time at cookout and I want to thank cashier Xavier for helping what I wanted and I said that .. because he was suggesting items to me when I came to speaker and he was very cheerful and patient .. also he was greeting me and smiling .. he got my order correct and food was fresh and delicious .. “I ordered my food through the drive through it was super busy. I got my order and when I looked at the bag and assumed by the size of the bag my large order was all there. However when I got home I realized that make my order was not in the bag. I called to the store and I received amazing customer service. My order was remade fresh and was waiting for me to pick it up in the drive through. Everyone handle the situation better than expected I will definitely make this my new favorite breakfast spot.“

I called the store and explained the issue and the Assistant manager was a huge help. She insisted on fixing it even though it was my fault, this says a lot! There is a great leadership team and an amazing employees. I normally go in the night after work and I’ve always got hot food and fresh . They are my favorite location ! I’m big on customer service and how I get treated and will advocate for them. Advice to anyone that has an issue with this location, give them a chance to fix an issue. “Once upon a time, I only ate Bojangles breakfast and I loved it. Now, this is my go-to place for lunch as well. They have THE BEST fast-food grilled chicken sandwich! “I had never ordered or eaten from Checkers…they happened to be open and wife wanted Checkers, I was eyeballing every other restaurant but this one…no particular reason why. The AI ordering was a little weird but the food was good, so good in fact that after the wife got her food and after I saw that amazing food…all other restaurants were put on pause! I flipped a looooeeee (U turn) and ordered some for my self! Glad I did! The staff were responsive and the place seemed to be in good order, and yes it was FAST!“

“I was pleasantly surprised by Hibachi 88. I've pasted by this place for years never giving it a second thought. One day while in the area I decided to give it a try.

The hibachi here is good. It's a mid-point between your typical quick hibachi restaurants and your teppanyaki full-service restaurant flavor wise. You can eat the food here without sauce. I've found myself wanting to return each time I want some quick hibachi.“

For whatever reason the register would not accept my American Express. I've actually had this happen before we're certain stores or establishments don't accept this type of credit card. I had no cash on me and forgot my debit card at home. The two people on duty went above and beyond. They gave me my first sub for free rather than turn me away.
