“Stopped here today for the first time by recommendation from the folks at Carrera Autohaus, Inc. after purchasing a car. When I tell you the BEST burger I’ve had, I mean it! I had the Classic burger with fries. I saw the burgers were doubles and thought no way I would be able to finish but I ate every single bite! The employees were friendly, efficient, and could be seen wiping down tables and straightening up throughout our dine-in experience despite how busy they were - so impressed! Wish there was one closer to home as this would be my new go-to burger place. Keep it up, Wayback of Durham!!!“
“Hailing all the way from Washington, DC, I give The Durham Filling Station 5 Stars! It's been 2 years since I've been here because my mother was formerly hospitalized at Duke. I stumbled upon this place, so I stopped in for a bite to eat. I'm glad I did. It is a diamond in the cut! I wrote a review on my Facebook page, however, I neglected to write a review here on Google until today. I even did a little hashtag with my FB review which was, "Durham Filling Station. #GetYouSome" These guys get your order, get the food cooked fast & fresh, & it is made your way. So, BK move over.That Brisket Mac was everything. That Junkyard Burger was Top-Freaking-Notch. The fries were crispy & hot out of the grease. The bonus! I got to leave my business card on the board. “Let me start off and say that this is a Five Guys. If you go there you will get Five Guys food. However, the last time placed an order online and when I went there to pick it up, they made the fries when I got there. So when I left I had hot fresh fries. A+ service guys, hr... Five Guys.“
“We had a great time here, the whole place has a dive bar vibe to it. The only I took off a star is that they wouldn't allow outside food in because they are a "restaurant". I wouldn't consider the sale of hot dogs a restaurant unless you offered a variety that met dietary restrictions. My friend ordered food while I ate the hot dogs and when it got here was told she had to eat it outside.“
“Did a quick stop before delivering packages for Amazon. Was able to get our food within 5 to 7 minutes after ordering. Got 3 bulls and 1 pup with 3 mediums sweetened tea. Wish the dogs didn't have too much mustard and didn't have enough chili. There was more slaw and onions than the chili.It was good enough for a quick lunch. The service was fastest even with the Dog House team having 4 other orders before mine.“

Not fancy and exactly welcoming with local flavor.The menu is tight and therefore always good. “Best burgers in NC! My favorite is the bacon cheeseburger with fresh onion, mustard and pickle. I just keep it very simple because it’s so delicious in itself I want to taste every bite. Then I take the fresh cut fries and I put some in between a couple of bites, not the whole burger of course, just enough to taste the fries with the fresh cheeseburger. My drink of choice is an ice cold lime coke.“
“Kinda divy but the food is great! I got the Carolina style cheeseburger and we shared fries and onion rings. The onion rings were fresh and delicious and I really enjoyed the hot dog with chili, cheese, slaw and mustard .love the pictures on the wall too !“
“They are extremely busy. Long wait times. Cars be on both sides so far out with customers. Sometimes it's worth the wait n other times it's extremely frustrating. Speaker on on side is basically broken needs to be fixed. Been that way for 6 yrsParking: There is limited close space too park but most go a lil further if those are taken up.“
“Great customer service! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food is awesome! The beef hot dogs were soooo good I had to come back to this location a second time (and I live an hour away)! “I’m not sure if my review is necessary because King’s is a Durham staple—everyone knows the food is good, hence the long lines on a daily.BUT I just had the best burger ever! My burger was juicyyy, flavorful and that sauce—oh my! The fries, which are regular crinkle fries seasoned to perfection, was the perfect match for my burger. The flavors complimented each other well.The service is not Chic-Fil-A kind, but depending on who you get, the experience is pretty standard/regular. I find the younger employees offer more attitude than needed. But man, that burger was bomb. And I usually get the shrimp po boy—which is also the best shrimp po’ boy I’ve had, but I’m pleased I chose the burger this time.“
