Now this is a simple, no frills, no thrills kind of restaurant. I like it. I has a simple menu and has cheap prices.This was my first time trying the restaurant in general and first time at this location. I originally wanted to try the American Classic Burger (looked at the menu online) but this location doesn't serve burgers. So I got the Tailwagger combo. We have eaten at The Dog House 3 times now and we have loved what we have gotten. It’s a small menu that comprises mostly of hot dogs, hence the name. They have all beef hot dogs, mini corn dogs, chicken salad, Brunswick stew, hush puppies, barbecue sandwiches or plates. The prices are not bad at all. Great customer service! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food is awesome! The beef hot dogs were soooo good I had to come back to this location a second time (and I live an hour away)! The apple turnovers are the BEST EVER! I will definitely return and spread the word about this hidden gem in Durham NC. Absolutely Love it!!!
