“I absolutely love sunrise biscuit kitchen. The food is always really delicious; in my opinion, this is the best fried chicken biscuit in the entire state. The only thing that I dislike is the woman who works at the drive-through window. I think it might actually kill her to respond with good morning when you say it to her. I really miss the drag queen that used to work to check out window years ago.“

“Allen & Son's knows what it's doing -- no frills, simple menu, and incredible barbecue. We got the barbecue plate with barbecue pork, hush puppies, fries, and baked beans. The bean was classic NC vinegar BBQ - succulent and delicious. The hush puppies had a touch of sweetness. The beans were were appropriately sweet and complemented the vinegary flavor of the meat.“

I stumbled upon this place, so I stopped in for a bite to eat. I'm glad I did. It is a diamond in the cut! “WOW. So first thing I notice in a business is cleanliness. This place despite having fresh peanuts for you to snack on while waiting for your order was wonderfully clean. Even the floors were almost spotless. There was an employee wiping tables frequently. We were also immediately greeted with a warm greeting and a smile. Our order was taken very quickly and I loved hearing the commodore between the employees! Oh and by the way, we come here solely for the CRISPY BLTs!! They are SO GOOD!“
