“While in town for a show @ Cat's Cradle, I stumbled across this establishment stuck in time. Eclectic UNC team photos and alumni adorn the walls and ceiling. A large assortment of soda and odds and ends can be found before entering a diner style area with an obscure pharmacy in the rear. The biscuits were good and the coffee was not bad. Service was above par, but the restrooms are dated and a bit cramped. A must stop for the UNC fan.“

“Food is pretty decent. Interesting menu, although the food itself does not always live up to the description. The truffle burger tastes like a normal (albeit well-made) burger. The Tarheel burger is pretty good, although it has a miniscule amount of chili in it. Onion rings are great.Server was incredibly nice and accommodating, although she looked like the only person working, so service was a little slow to start.“

“Delicious! I got the fish fry dinner with tuscan fries, and it was incredible. Huge fish fillet fried to perfection. The quality was exceptional and the fries were delicious too. Not to mention, they have a coke freestyle machine. :) I will be coming back regularly!“

“First time here, credit card machine broken; second around time was a charm. Great food, parking lot configuration is traditional Cookout, know your tray and follow the cones going in. Order was quick and precise, line moved rapidly, food was hot and ready to roll. Preferred Tray: Reg cue sandwich, puppies and quesadilla with a Cheerwine or the only other alternative Huge Sweet Tea.“
“One of the many great places in Chapel Hill, but there's a reason I come here almost every time I visit the area. Great service, the burgers are delicious, fries are perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the dipping sauces are dangerously good. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good burger.“
