“Ate here with a friend for dinner. I have celiac & called ahead, they told me they have the best gluten free pizza on the east coast (i’ll be the judge of that hahaha). The hostess was great and walked me through the menu. I ended up getting the garlic cheese bread app and cesar salad (have to ask for both to be GF). Both were 10/10. The salad was HUGE. Grilled chicken is an extra $6. My friend got the pizza and said it was great. Will be returning to try the GF pizza! Only pizza they cant do GF is Nashville Hot because of the fried chicken. No gluten reaction from me!!!“

“I was in the area with a family member today, and this was the first place that came to mind when I thought of getting burgers in Durham. I ate here one time in the past when I was going to a show at the Carolina Theater nearby, but what I didn't expect was that my burger would taste even more delicious this time around! The bacon was the perfect amount of crunchy and chewy, and the rest of my cheeseburger was oh-so savory. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and craving a delicious burger, especially because of the great and friendly service.“

“Cook Out is the perfect name. It looks like a burger you made at home. It so isn't! It's sooo much better than what I can cook. And I can cook fairly tasty food. The onion rings are some of the best ever. I hope they keep expanding because now Illinois needs Cook Out! I liked walking up to the window to order. The drive thru seems more than adequate regarding speed of service but I never used it. Just watched it. The shakes seemed extremely popular even though we didn't have one. I'll always keep my eyes looking for Cook Out wherever we go on road trips.“

“This is how a BK should be! Super friendly staff, exceptionally clean, delicious, hot food, and it looks like on the commercials! Coming from Wilmington where NO ONE goes to either BK because they're awful, this was a breath of fresh air! Best fast food fries I've ever had! Yes, even better than the ones served by the Clown! Place was darn near spotless inside with a guy mopping everywhere, not just in the easy to see areas. Cashier smiling constantly and alternating from speaking English to Spanish and back without missing a beat. Extremely friendly and got my order fast! We dined in and he even asked if everything was ok as we were leaving. That's service you rarely see anymore!

“Great atmosphere and welcoming vibe! The space feels comfortable and energetic at the same time. The drinks were well-made (I got a special made Peach Lemon Drop Martini and it was amazing!!!), and they food specials like $1 wings certain nights.
They also host game nights and events, and it looks like a fun spot for private parties or group gatherings. Definitely a solid addition to Durham’s sports bar scene — I’ll be back!“

“Today, friday around 2pm, this crew produced an incredible tray, best i’ve had in a long time. burger made right, plenty of cajun on non soggy fries, quesadilla not overcooked and plenty of sauce inside. Cashier gave ample honey mustard. 10/10 cookout experience“

“I wanted to acknowledge the amazing service me and my wife received on Wednesday June 24th . This visit makes the best one of them all. There was an amazing lady who took our order with a big beautiful smile. I believe her name was Hailey and she is a fairly new member of the team . She didn't make us feel rushed or as if it was an inconvenience to ring in all 6 meals we got. “This place really stands out from other cookouts, no other cookout ive been to is as fast as this one, i walked in to a queue of like +15 people... and within seconds it was my turn to order (i even had to ask the girl in the front for a moment to make up my mind).

The folks working there must be real-life speedrunners, and somehow unlike the rest of the franchise they don't mess up your orders (I've been here with my homies 4 times and they haven't had a single miss), and all that while still being very kind.

Also another thing this one has that others cookouts don't is: in-store dining, and the whole place is shimmering clean and cozy.

“Went through the drive through last night, ordered a double whopper large combo with onion rings, after getting to the window I asked for no tomatoes and the manager Jeanette happily obliged and had them removed, I do believe she had a whole new sandwich made because I mentioned an allergy. The whopper was nice and hot but not burning hot, the diet Dr Pepper was ice cold and full to the top. “If u can wait at a sit down restaurant; why not have the patience to wait for great food. Ordered the jerk wings, jerk chicken dinner, jerk shrimp with two sides and the Philly egg rolls. I’m reading theses comments and see folk just mad u had to wait. Staff was working churning out orders and I notice no one had an attitude except folk who want something quick fast in a hurry. It had a wait but I can tell you most customers were ordering at least 3 plates. Everyone was enjoying the vibe and just relax. I rather wait on my food and make sure it right. I drove by at 4:47pm on Saturday and the line was out to the boa boa lunch buffet and when I got back at 6 pm there was a line to boa boa. I will be back and hope the folk who in a hurry realize they would wait an 30 min to hour to be seated and 45 min for the food to be prepared give this establishment some grace. The reason I’m passionate about this is when I got home, I was throughly impressed with my food and ate off my families plate. I glad my wife wanted to go. I would gladly stand in line again so I can get another chance to eat.“
