Where's the Jerk? Reviews
If u can wait at a sit down restaurant; why not have the patience to wait for great food. Ordered the jerk wings, jerk chicken dinner, jerk shrimp with two sides and the Philly egg rolls.
I’m reading theses comments and see folk just mad u had to wait. Staff was working churning out orders and I notice no one had an attitude except folk who want something quick fast in a hurry. It had a wait but I can tell you most customers were ordering at least 3 plates. Everyone...read full review

I have been twice this week. The food is so good! Not sure why the reviews are negative. Some of the best jerk and soul food I have had in Durham!
Just left Where’s the Jerk and had oxtails, rice and cabbage. Nothing was good today. Don’t know what happened but didn’t taste nothing like the plates I usually get and $32 wasted. Cabbage very sweet, rice not done at all and oxtails flavor was good but lots of fat and not many at all. Just wasn’t good today!!

Where's the Jerk? offers delicious food worth the wait, with Collard Greens, sweet potatoes, Mac and cheese, oxtails, and potato salad that get better each visit. The oxtail rasta pasta and jerk chicken are standout favorites, with authentic flavors like thyme stem in the food surprising even West Indian customers. Customers note the portions are generous, and the flavors are flavorful and fresh, making the meals a great value. Some reviews mention that the wait time can be lengthy, and the service may sometimes feel unwelcoming, but the quality of the food keeps customers coming back. Many are willing to wait hours to enjoy well-made dishes and return regularly. The restaurant is highly recommended for those who appreciate authentic Jamaican cuisine and are patient enough to wait for a satisfying meal.
