“As I’ve been going all around Durham, Raleigh and Cary in search of the best coffee shop, 321 is a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is quaint and easy going and the service is top tier. The establishment hires adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and that is worth supporting. You should stop by for your Cup of Joe, this spot is Up! 321 for the Win“
“Crispy exterior, fluffy middle and for me, just the right amount of chew, Issacs makes a very good bagel (and pastry!) that rivals Benchwarmers and the formerly open Buttons and Co bagel shop in Asheville NC. While I prefer the texture of an Issac’s bagel to these other Carolina bagel legends Issac’s falls slightly short for me on flavor and ingredient quality. Don’t get me wrong, these are clearly good ingredients but they are not the best. I would happily pay more for a bagel proofed with such care to be made with heirloom stone ground flour and scratch made cream cheese as well. Cream cheeses and bagel toppings are all very nice but don’t have the balance or pack the punch I want from a texturally perfect bagel. You can taste that long overnight proof in this really tasty dough. I wish I could taste that hearty heirloom grain as well. Issac’s nails the bagel making process and is a little less than perfect. Order ahead or visit on a week day to avoid waiting in their well deserved lines.“
“This place was SO wonderful from the food to the server to the experience. All around amazing. Our food was fantastic, as well as our coffee. And the best part: they gave us a blanket since we chose to sit on the patio rather than wait for an inside table! Literally the nicest people working here.“
“I love the Mabel, which is a honey lavender latte, It is so good. BUT today I tried the orange Shortie (I cannot remember what they named it exactly) but it is absolutely one of the best coffee drinks that I’ve ever had in my life. The orange flavor mixed with the pink Himalayan sea salt it’s absolutely divine. If I could, I would drink it every single day. I’ve been wanting to try the Aphrodite, but it’s always sold out. Maybe one day!“
“The Americano is my usual but I get the Drip coffee alot. It's like a mix between white label and processed without being too processed flavor. If you are coffee drinker, you know what I'm talking about. "Best of both worlds."“
“Having a lunch date with my hubby, enjoying delicious food: Croque Monsieur, bacon, egg and cheese on polish bagel (obwarzanka) and for desert: Pain Au chocolate, Swedish strawberry meringue cake (now my new favorite ), Babcias cake (strawberry rhubarb) and paczek( polish donut ).So full, no need for dinner tonight!!#chefchicksbakery #ccbakerync“
“Oh man, may I tell you that the first time i came here. I came here twice for their baked goods and latte. Prior to this place, I wasn’t into peanut butter but I had their Ballpark latte (if i could remember correctly) which I loved. I was introduced to this place by my partner and surely he was right about this place having the best baked goods.“
“I typically go at least once a week to experience "acai bliss"! They even let me create my own "Aggie Bowl", with my own selection of ingredients.Cierra, Zaria and staff are excellent, and Anissa (the owner) is the best!I would definitely recommend stopping by for a sit-down, or take out!Wheelchair accessibility: Saw a man roll in as I'm typing this review“
“Great place with a great environment. I didn't eat anything but the espresso is very well done with fresh roasted coffee beans. The girl that served me was very nice and patient. The staff was nice and the place very clean. Food lack some good protein options but that's easy to improve.“
“I’m a regular at this coffee shop! It’s a great atmosphere to get work done during the day. Lots of outlets. The baristas are really nice and take the time to get to know you. Nice big windows to people watch or a more secluded spot in the back. I love coming here!“
“Order the Tigerz Woodz!! I repeat, ORDER THE TIGERZ WOODZ!!!! The most incredible Arnold Palmer you’ll ever have in your life. My dad has been ordering nothing but Arnie palmers when he goes out for the past 20+ years and he claimed this is the best one he’s ever had. The mango pie drink was also absolutely exquisite ?“
“Really excellent spot. I only know about this place thanks to a good friend who lives in Durham, but I'm glad that he introduced me to it. I've been here a few times now and it's always been a good experience. Great coffee, food, add baked goods. Will definitely be back!“
“My go to place for doughnuts and ESPECIALLY apple fritters. They have the best apple fritters I have ever tasted and they are the main reason I go here. The fritters are also pretty large.Their glazed doughnuts are also very good, but I save my calories for the fritters.I always take my order to go, but they do have some fast food type of seating available if you want to "eat in".My experience is that the sell out of fritters by 10:30 to 11:30. They only stay open until they sell all of their stock for the day.Parking: It is in a strip mall and I have always gotten a spot within about 80 meters to the door. It seems like the other near by stores are not active in the morning.“
“The donuts were delicious, had no problem with the food. But the price was crazy, because on the menu you have 12.50 for assorted donuts, when I was rung up the total came up to almost 18 dollars, that is a pretty big jump from 12.50. The lady at the register acted as if she had an attitude as well. They also charge almost 3 or 4 dollars if you use your card and your order is under 5 dollars, that is outrageous.“
“I walked into a fun coffee spot that looks like college students probably take up all of the tables regularly. It's cozy and relaxed. I wanted an Iced Mocha, but unfortunately, they were out of chocolate. So I grabbed an amazing Iced Macha with a pump of syrup. Delicious! My mom liked her Eggnog drink, though the fact that it was hot put her off a little. The staff seemed happy to be there and were helpful when my mom didn't know what she wanted. I will be back!“
“Went here because my five year old daughter found out about Churros! We originally went to the one on Hillsborough St only to find out they didn’t sell Churros so we ended up here at this location. The lady taking our order was friendly and the place is spacious. The churros were hot and fresh!! They even do them in a heart shape which my baby girl enjoyed. We will go back again for more of this hot fresh sweet treat.“
“SUCH a cute eclectic coffee spot, the Americano I had was fantastic and Cary was super helpful. The vibe is homey, artsy and soothing. Very inspiring spot with lounge area in the front and arts venue in the back, plus more cozy outdoor lounge space in the patio area behind the shop! Highly recommend, hidden gem.“
“I was new to the area a year ago and set out to find the best coffee shop in Durham. I had Bean Traders early on and kept trying other ones and nothing else was close! Whether it’s plain coffee, a latte, or any of there delicious food items they’re the best around. It usually is pretty busy (because who wouldn’t want to be there!?) so be sure to allow plenty of time if you’re planning on hanging out there.“
“I sampled this menu with really high standards- and it was an absolute delight to experience. Clean, fresh, beautifully balanced flavors, perfectly prepared. Lovely continental-vibe spot to drink a glass of wine. Welcoming staff. A Durham food gem!“
“Boulevard (BLVD) RTP is an office park coffee house that serves up your drink staples and good breakfast and lunch items. Their waffles are superb. My friend got an avocado toast and some overnight oats. I want to try their bagels next time. The shop was quiet the day I went. There is bar seating and ample table seating for digital nomads and office workers that need a change of scenery. Please be courteous and bus your space when leaving.“
“Amazing taste every time I visit. Nice vibes, peaceful place. Highly recommended.Low carb and very healthy food.Vegetarian options: You can customize your food if you don’t eat meat or animal products.Dietary restrictions: You can customize your foodParking: Parking is free but limited. Place tends to stay full so most likely you will have to park in the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps for wheelchairs available.“
“One of my new favorite places in Durham! Such a cool concept of having an outdoor and coffee shop combined into one spot. I love the partnership with other local companies. The owners are amazing and you can tell they really want to add to the Durham community and provide a space for people to connect. The wifi is fast and it's a great place to work remotely“
“I found this place because of the coffee options, I keep coming back because I can't find a single menu item that isn't amazing ?. To go orders are great but take some time to sit with friends, family, or your partner for a meal and just enjoy the atmosphere and energy of the place. I never have a bad experience and if you can catch the schedule you might see a live band playing.“
“Had a lovely experience with Lauren who recommended the taro slushie which is definitely my new favorite! They had just gotten through a big rush and were out of a lot of ingredients, but they were very knowledgeable about tasty alternatives for us and for the other customers. I'll definitely be back for more taro slushies!“
“My friends and I think that this is some of the best coffee in Durham. It’s a cute little coffee shop with nice hours that opens early in the morning (perfect for a reward after a run or bike ride or trip to the farmers market just up the street). My favorites are the vanilla latte (hot or iced is great) and the ham and cheese croissant - my favorite in Durham too!“
“Gojo was a fun experience. The spices in the food were creative and fun. The coffee was good. I was told that at one point in time, Gojo made a bigger deal with the coffee experience, however, the pot, cups, and flavor were wonderful and memorable. This is a come again location. Just really loved the food.“
“It is such a treat to come to Cloche Coffee. The drinks, atmoshere and staff are amazing, but Christine makes the experience memorable. She makes my drinks with joy and a smile. She is attentive and easy going. The warm welcome she gives is truly unmatched. Keep up the exceptional work and continue to pour into others and others will take note to pay it forward. Thank you!“
“I've written comments before that no one read. I get responses like, "So glad you love Clean Juice....." You're NOT listening, so I don't expect a response or any kind of acknowledgement. Being a Christian & trying to support a Christian company, I would expect more than a pat on the head when I write a response.I've ordered the Chocolate One in 4 different locations. It has changed. One was so bad, I couldn't finish it. What has changed? Please read your responses or don't ask.Julie Dean Hickory, NC“
“Great bar alternative if you're looking for something besides alcohol! I like the chai mana or hot chocolate with CBD. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff and lots of regulars who keep the atmosphere light and sociable. Bartenders like Kari do a great job of explaining the menu and helping newcomers find something delicious!“
“Had a great experience this morning grabbing coffee and pastry and then working from this location! I got there around 8:50am on a Friday and there were plenty of seats but by about 9:30am the place filled up with other working professionals/students. I had Dr. Durham latte and a morning bun (puff pastry covered with cinnamon sugar). Loved both. I'll ask for my Dr. Durham extra hot next time :) The place has an awesome vibe. Loved the board with community events. Staff is friendly. Good selection of coffee and pastries. Wifi was fast. I'll be back to chill and/or work from here in the future, might be my new favorite coffee shop spot!“
“We visited for my wife's birthday. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The service was very good. We brought a bottle of wine as the wine selection is not great, but they have a reasonable corkage fee. The bartender decanted the wine for us as soon as we were seated - nice touch. All of our food selections were great - the poached pear salad, grape leaves, duck appetizer, and the coffee rubbed ribeye. The steak was perfectly cooked and high quality meat. It should be for the $$$. Dessert was nice too, but limited selections. Overall a lovely evening.“
“The donuts are so good and they have so many different kinds there is something for everyone there(unless you don't like donuts).the people are usually super nice and always super helpful in helping us pick.and the place is great super clean and you can watch the donuts be made its perfect For a treat for the whole family.“
“This is Subway also. Where 8s can you get Subway Krispy Kreme and Ice cream at the same placeFeatures: Not sure but place was cleanKid-friendliness: Def Kid friendly Parking: Good amount of parkingDietary restrictions: Subway has your options“
“First time visiting the box yard and I had been wanting to try beyu caffe for a while! Inett took my sister and I's orders and made our drinks (caramello & iced chai) and they were the best verisions of those drinks we had ever had! Inett was super sweet also! :) We studied here for the day and it was such a nice atmosphere! definitely going to make this my regular study and coffee place!“
“My favorite boba place in Durham! They have multiple milk options if you're vegan/dairy-free. I've taken multiple friends there, including people who are weirded out by boba, and they can still get something they like (hot chocolate, normal tea, etc). Cute seating area by the big window plus more quiet spots in the back.“
“After days of hotel coffee, my cup of coffee at Cocoa Cinnamon was amazing! Barista was knowledgeable and extremely friendly! We are traveling and had to get it to go, so I appreciate they use eco friendly paper products as well! Huge thanks to the baristas for making us a great cup of coffee and being so nice!“
“Have you ever heard of reasonably priced museum food? Me either. We stopped by today during one of our visits to the museum of life and sciences (note this inside the museum so you'll need to be a member or pay for admission to access this restaurant). We ordered fries and they were enormous and came within a minute of ordering and they were under $4. (This price is so pleasantly surprising because we recently went to a zoo where a side of fries costs $8 and chicken tenders and fries costs $18.) The fries weren't gourmet but just solid fries like you'd get at most fast food places or amusement parks/zoos. We ate these inside but they have ample outdoor and a glass closed in space without air conditioning, too. We have eaten here many times. It's next to the butterfly house and across from the train and stationary caboose. We usually pack our own lunch so that we can eat in the car but it's nice to know we have good alternative options.“
“This is the friendliest and courteous of all of the many Starbucks I've visted.Fast service, considerate and great selection of food and drinksKudos to the entire staff. Starbucks is so much more then what they serve. Their customer service is unsurpassable.Parking: Drive through line sometimes makes it difficult to get out of your parking space.“
“Overall this Starbucks is fine, but improvements could be added.-Five star great quality costumer service.-Quick workers-Workers strive to make going to this Starbucks a good experience-Adds too much ice to the drink, when asked for light ice-Long lines due to being understaffedOverall this place has some cons, but overall decent.Kid-friendliness: Workers seem to be kind to childrenParking: Limited parkingWheelchair accessibility: There is no stairs in this location“
“Experienced Beyu Caffe today for the first time, today. The food and service was excellent. We definitely enjoyed our meal. I had the Beyu Classic breakfast with grits and smoked sausage. Everthing was excellent! My wife and I wish Darian and his staff much success in the future.“
“Update (1/4/24 6pm!): Manager replied not more than 2 hours later saying he would refund and check their cold brew. Updating the review to 5 stars for the spectacular management! I will definitely give this coffee shop another try1/4/24 5pm: Man did I want to love this coffee shop! I’m new to the area and have always loved the flavor of local coffee shops over a Starbucks coffee. Especially nowadays. I ordered the oatmeal cream pie cold brew. Despite my cold brew being over filled to the point coffee was all over the lid (before the straw was even put in) there wasn’t much flavor! Also i wasn’t a huge fan of the cold brew- the coffee tasted like it was burnt. I’m not a huge fan of sweet drinks but this drink just tasted like cold brew. I was looking for at least some sweetness.By the way.. I had a baby on my waist.. which the barista acknowledged.. overfilling my drink made me spill coffee all down the middle of my shirt + got all in the charger port of my phone. I don’t know what karma i did to deserve that but man did that barista serve me it. Anyways I’m off to find another small business coffee place now :,)“
“Expertly made cortado and espresso with locally roasted beans. Given the abundance of great coffee shops in the area, I was impressed that this one exceeded expectations. Relaxed vibe and exceptional coffee. Plenty of seats with plugs in a large open space, but no extra comfy seating. Would come back.“
“I stopped by here when I was visiting my sister on Raleigh. She had taken my parents here a few months prior, and I was told it is a must visit. Everyone was right. The koiyaki with ube ice cream was phenomenal, and the staff was very friendly. Side note, the individual lactaids for sale at the counter were a nice touch. My delicate stomach was infinitely grateful for it that evening.“
