“I'm not a coffee drinker but I wanted to try something here at this shop. The lady was so kind and explained things to me. So I ended up getting a peppermint mocha with 1/2 the coffee. It was delicious. So now that I know that I can customize it , i will be back to order different drinks.“

“Since moving to Wake Forest a month ago I've been trying to support locally owned places to eat and shop rather then going with the big chains. Leave Starbucks behind and support an awesome local coffee shop.

Amazing coffee from growers that are fairly compensated for their work. Coffee that is roasted locally and correctly by coffee roasting experts. By far this is the best coffee I've found in the area. You can take the experience home by buying a bag of beans. This coffee is not the cheapest but the quality is easily tasted and worth every penny.

The atmosphere is awesome and great for meeting with friends or working away from the office. No overpowering music or loud noises here! Just a nice selection of music that compliments that atmosphere and not overpowers it.

The food is limited as the focus is on the coffee here. However they have small selection of muffins and filled croissants choose from.

The staff is always pleasant and ready to help but don't try to upsell you on some sugary specialty drink - they all know how to make a great cup of black coffee via their pour over if that's what you like (drip is available as well and always well brewed).

“I ordered a custom chocolate 3 layer cake with chocolate buttercream icing that truly was to die for! It was sinfully delicious. It beats Whole Foods vegan cake that was entirely too sweet and heavy. Yours was very flavorful, light, perfect. It was just for 3 of us, my son's 41st birthday, but he got to take half the cake home LOL! I will be ordering my own BD cake this winter for sure. For those that are not vegan or vegetarian , doesn't matter...this bakery beats them all!“

I must stop in and do one more review for starbucks tonight before I go to bed. I was having a terrible, no good, very bad day just like the children's book. I was emotional and very frustrated. I came to the drive-thru and it was rare that I was the only person in line that day. I was greeting by Peedy/Peedie (forgive me for misspelling it). Peedy was welcoming, warm and friendly and cheered me up with a special greeting. I immediately felt better! You never know what someone is going through and a warm, friendly face can be a game changer in someone's life. I don't even remember was I was angry about but my day was better after visiting this store. If management is reading this, Peedy, you deserve a raise for such exceptional, over the top, above and beyond customer service. I will never forget it!
