“My daughter, her bestie and I make the trip from VA to Wake Forest whenever we get a chance to get some of the fruit pastries. We usually get one of each then some to take back with us! The owner is super nice, the bakery is warm and welcoming but above all the pastries are heavenly. We have never been disappointed. I’m ready for another trip!“

“Great little neighborhood deli in N. Raleigh area. Ordered the Grand Gobbler on focaccia (bread was perfect & so fresh) & the potato salad (literally some of the best I’ve ever had). It was all so plentiful & so very good! Place has a very simple, but tasteful menu. Super nice staff working Sabrina & (Dalton brought our food out & spoke) he always does a perfect job on preparing our sandwiches! 🥪 Overall service was great! Definitely a must for a quick lunch stop! Will definitely be back asap!“

“I’ve been going to WFCC for 10 years now. They are a favorite of mine. I’ve taken dates here, family and friends, anybody from out of town; it is a must-visit ! The baristas are very kind, friendly, and helpful. So much so, I’ve come to grow acquainted with some employees over the years. They do a loyalty program, and all they need is your # or email address. They offer many different flavors, so you’ll never grow tired of their options. Also the most affordable iced latte I can find, all while being the best! If you want a recommendation of different coffees to try, I do a white chocolate macadamia nut cold brew with a splash of almond milk. Or! A honey vanilla iced latte with oat milk. The options are endless (:“

“Don’t go if you are on a tight time schedule. I ordered 2 sandwiches and an order of southwest egg rolls to go and I waited 30 minutes. One of the sandwiches was already made and we could see it in the cooler so I’m not sure what took so long. I thought surely the quality of food would justify my long wait but, I was disappointed. Chips were stale. Service was underwhelming. On a $65 tab I was offered a “sorry for your wait”. The coffee was delicious though“

“Since moving to Wake Forest a month ago I've been trying to support locally owned places to eat and shop rather then going with the big chains. Leave Starbucks behind and support an awesome local coffee shop.
Amazing coffee from growers that are fairly compensated for their work. Coffee that is roasted locally and correctly by coffee roasting experts. By far this is the best coffee I've found in the area. You can take the experience home by buying a bag of beans. This coffee is not the cheapest but the quality is easily tasted and worth every penny.
The atmosphere is awesome and great for meeting with friends or working away from the office. No overpowering music or loud noises here! Just a nice selection of music that compliments that atmosphere and not overpowers it.
The food is limited as the focus is on the coffee here. However they have small selection of muffins and filled croissants choose from.
The staff is always pleasant and ready to help but don't try to upsell you on some sugary specialty drink - they all know how to make a great cup of black coffee via their pour over if that's what you like (drip is available as well and always well brewed).
Black and White has become my new third place and office away from the office.“

“Amazing!!!! We brought our daughter to Raleigh for a college tour and we were looking for dairy and gluten free bakeries. Plant Cakes Bake Shop was 40 minutes away but we figured we would make the trip. I am so glad we did!! The most amazing donuts we have ever had. My son has never had a banana split due to his allergies and he was blown away with how good the banana split was. Highly recommend!!!“

“The bagels and spreads are delicious, worth the trip and always fresh. However, the hours are awful! They close at 2:00. I have been by countless times between 2:00-3:00 and they are always closed. It’s very frustrating. They lose a lot of business not staying open just an hour later. I hope this will change.“

“Absolutely did not disappoint! Very friendly staff, she explained the whole menu to me (first visit at this location) and I was blown away by all the options! My Peanut Butter Banana protein shake was incredible and the perfect meal replacement. It’s so tasty and the consistency is perfect. I’ll be back many more times!!“

“Stopped in today for the first time because I saw this beautiful drink pop up on my timeline. I didn’t catch the lady’s name who was working but she was very nice and answered all my questions. I got the Pack Punch tea, it was DELICIOUS and gave me a nice boost of energy while I was out doing Instacart. I will definitely be returning 🫶🏾“

“The most underrated spot for matcha in Raleigh. Their matcha is always that perfect, vibrant bright green. The seasonal drinks are always on point, and their year-round syrup selection is one of the most unique you’ll find in Raleigh. They even offer four sugar-free syrup options, which is practically unheard of.
Our favorites are the Banana & Cream Matcha, Blueberry Matcha, Tres Leches Latte, Cookies & Cream Macchiato, and the mini pancakes. If you’re craving something sweet, the churros are made fresh to order and definitely worth it.
One thing to note, depending on who’s working, the music can get a little loud, and there is little seating. Not a study spot, but a great hang out (especially since they’re open late).“

“I really love going here! There's an Open Mic performance tonight Friday March 10 at 7 PM open to all. They've even started doing a book clubs and music jamborees on Tuesday nights! Good atmosphere and good coffee! They're open in the day from 8:30 to 11:30 Monday to Friday.“

“Today I had the Spinach Feta Wrap and it was just the way I like it - fresh off the grille, hot, and ready for eating! I paired this with one of Starbucks (Passion Fruit) Refreshers, which was amazing! Tip: I will say this, if you do less ice and extra berries you will find that your drink is quite delightful!“
