“Visited for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back. Right off the bat, the employees were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our water glasses stayed full and our cocktails were delicious. The food was phenomenal—appetizer, entrées, and dessert. The presentation was lovely and the taste was divine. The Whipped Feta & Fig Crostinis were a surprise hit! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Red Cream Paneer Curry and I couldn’t get enough of the Tagliatelle Pasta Alfredo with Wild Mushrooms and Shiitake Bacon. The ice cream sundae was great, too! It was my first time tasting non-dairy ice cream that actually tastes good! Given the quality and care taken to provide vegan food that is THIS tasty, I think the pricing is fair, especially when compared to other local cafés/bistros/restaurants in the area. Casual, kid-friendly atmosphere, but still nice enough for a date night. Can’t wait to come back!“

“MunchiLove really lives up to the love in its name! 💛 It’s been such a sweet addition to the area—exactly what we needed. While my son is at Cor4 Fitness for Speed School or getting tutoring at Sylvan, I can relax with a delicious latte (the strawberry white mocha is my favorite ☕) or a fresh pastry—highly recommend the blueberry cream cheese muffins 🫐🧁! The only challenge is the lack of shade on the patio. I often bring my dog and like to sit outside, but it's been extremely hot with no umbrellas or coverings. 🌞 The sun makes it tough to see my laptop screen, and my dog gets overheated quickly 🐶💦. With just a little shade, the patio would be much more comfortable—and I’d definitely be there even more often!“

“This venue was amazing. I got married here last week and it was beautiful and all the staff was attentive and helpful. Honeysuckle also has their own bar service which we used. They offered several drink options, which most being locally sourced. We also used their catering service and all of the food was exactly what we wanted. Even with some special requests they were so accommodating. They decorated our arch with beautiful greenery and flowers the day of the ceremony and it turned out gorgeous. The only minor issue would be the bridal yurt was very hot and even with the AC it was quite miserable for the whole bridal party, including the makeup and hair artists. But a minor compliant for the space and service we received from all of the Honeysuckle Tea house team. Thank you Sandy!“

“The best thing here is the gelato. It’s super high end. Smoothies >$7 latte >$7. Served in to go cups. Not a ton of natural lighting, but some seating decent for working. The gelato is really nice actually, esp spicy mango.

“Great place to get Boba!! Me and my boyfriend became OBSESSED going here. It got to the point, the one worker knows us and gives suggestions what we might like. Even though I like to experiment once in awhile- My absolutely favorite is the strawberry ice milk all mixed together with strawberry popping Boba...Sooo good! It's like drinking a strawberry milkshake. My boyfriend likes to be a little braver and try different kinds when he gets one- he likes more of the fruit Boba and has tried a few varieties. Definitely would be back, maybe more than I need to 😂😂 but it's definitely worth it.“

“On the night of the UNC-Duke game, February 7th, this Starbucks on Franklin Street showed my family a kindness I will never forget. My husband became separated from us in the post-game crowds. I tracked him via Find My iPhone and found him through the window — hunched over, his blood sugar dangerously low. The staff had already noticed he didn't look right, let him in, and given him water before I even arrived. The employee at the door let me in immediately when I explained who he was. While I went back out into the chaos to find our daughter, the team kept watch.
They were handling one of the most intense nights Franklin Street sees all year — thousands of people flooding the street after a big UNC win — and yet they were calm, warm, and genuinely caring. They may not have realized how serious his situation could have become, but their instinct to look after a stranger made all the difference.
These are exactly the kind of people you hope to encounter when things go sideways. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🙏“

“I’ve been consistently coming to this cafe since my sophomore year, and highly recommend the place to anyone who wants a caffeine boost around campus.

My personal favorite drinks are either Thai Iced Tea or Iced Vietnamese Coffee. Both cost around $5.

In addition to coffee, there is a lot of food sold, ranging from a chicken caesar salad to red velvet cake squares. The food rotates throughout the semester.

Scott runs the place and he is a fun person to talk to. He is energetic and is clearly passionate about running this cafe.
