“Pleasant atmosphere, very friendly staff, and ample parking. The Cecina starter was a welcome surprise, the pickled cauliflower was a revelation. The Formaggi Misti pizza was well baked, thin crispy crust and flavorful sauce & toppings.“

“From the early days of just the truck, Napoli has been a blessing to find in Chapel Hill. I think the best word to describe their food is "elegant". Gotta have pizza fresh out of the oven to really have it shine but it's great a day later too. Soft and delicious crust, incredible topping pairings, and amazing quality at the price they charge.“

“Seeing Rise come to Carrboro was exciting. Their food is top notch, all of it. I have to vote Sunrise as the best in town for chicken biscuits though. Rise is a close second and awesome. They went to a self order screen system a while back and I am not a fan. The staff has always been really fantastic, but I really wish one of them was how I interacted instead of with a screen. On my last visit, my son and I were first in the door (and only ones) in the morning. It took over 25 minutes to get our food. If it weren't for the friendly staff I would have asked for my money back out of principal. Longer open hours would be great too. I trust my latest experience was an anomaly.“

“Need some combo deals. Nice teas and coffees. Cute place. Need more of a philosophy night. Need a guitar and dulcimer night to learn and have fun. No experienced players.“

“I've been coming to the Spotted Dog on and off probably since it opened. The food is amazing (the Club Veg is my favorite) and there's something for everyone - vegetarians, vegans, carnivores. Bobby is an amazing bartender who takes great care of us and always makes us feel welcome. Very laid back and has never been packed or loud; I love the energy here.“

“I had been warned that they served really spicy food, so I ordered my meal with 2 out of 4 on the ?️ scale, but it was not very spicy. Next time I'll get it hotter. The crispy tofu appetizer was delicious. The main course of cashew veggie stir fry was good but not the best I've had. The wine selection is minimal and the Sauvignon Blanc was better than the Cab. We took home enough for lunch the following day.Vegetarian options: Almost every dish can be made with veggies instead of chicken or beef.Parking: Parking deck behind the hotel.“
“This is the store I want to love, but frankly, while it is a good meeting place, it's a bit overpriced for regular shopping (even higher than Whole Foods for regular packaged goods). I think they'd be more profitable and a better store if they became more price aware. The bakery is excellent, and wine selection is decent. They also have a good selection of local organic produce (which I dont mind paying up for).“

“We love Glasshalfull. We’ve been several times and the quality of the food is always top notch. The brussel sprouts are the best in the triangle! Staff is so friendly. I love the business practices of this place, you can tell they take pride not only in the food they serve but in the people they hire. Great date night spot!“

“I have been dining at Thai Station since its inception, and consistently, both the cuisine and service have been exceptional. Throughout my experiences, I have encountered no issues whatsoever. For those seeking authentic and delicious cuisine, I wholeheartedly recommend Thai Station.“

“I'm not sure what exactly changed but the food took a big step up. Like a big one!! It is now definitely my favorite brunch spot in town. It blows the old Elmo's out of the water. The fruit is super duper fresh and presentations are beautiful. The staff is incredibly nice. They also have some amazing kombucha selections.“

“We miss their outdoor under the canvas seating. Venable always has excellent food and drinks and great service. Recommend the sides of mashed potatoes or green beans and the calamari, which is not deep fried but sautéed.Dietary restrictions: Well marked GF items.“

“Excellent food. Probably one of the best eggs Benedict we’ve had. Good ingredients and great flavor. The service was questionable. I think we just wound up with the slow waiter. The other service staff seemed to be working harder. It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to first stop by our table. We were actually tempted to leave, as the restaurant was not busy and had many open tables. But once our food was ordered it came out relatively fast. Finally, we had to wait a while again for our waiter to get the check and pay. Other than the slow waiter, it was a great experience.“

“Service was great. Burritos were huge. Flavor left something to be desired. My friends got chorizo and it was a little lackluster and mushy. Outdoor seating is very nice. Drinks are reasonably priced. They put a mix of flour and corn tortilla chips in the nachos and chips with salsa. Flour tortillas had an interesting texture - very crispy and flakey.“
